Me and two of my girlfriends stayed 4 nights at the Hygee Hideaway for a “Galentine’s” weekend getaway. The space was perfect for us to spread out and each have our own sleeping space. The kitchen was stocked including Tupperware which was great since we mostly cooked for ourselves. The vibe of ‘Hyggelig’ delivered as advertised! The furniture, the lighting & the many crackling candles throughout the house was such a nice, cozy touch! We enjoyed reading, playing games, doing puzzles, watching shows, going in the hot tub & hiking around on the frozen lake. We also enjoyed the location. Ironton and Crosby are both within a 15 minute drive. We rented fat tire bikes from Cycle in Ironton and enjoyed an adventurous trail ride out & easy state trail ride bike (it was our first time fat tire biking). We walked around Crosby & popped into some shops and had great burgers at Iron Range Eatery for lunch. We returned for bingo at Spalding House for Sun night bingo! Overall a fun & relaxing trip!

We liked everything very much, especially the many decorative things that make this house truly cozy.

Pristine home. Extremely clean. Beautiful surroundings. Very responsive host. The game room is amazing. The hot tub is of course an awesome touch. Beds were extremely comfortable. Check in and check out was easy. We felt right at home for our 3 night stay.

The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The kids especially loved the loft room. The location was convenient, and the host was responsive and helpful.

Steve is a great host, had a minor issue but he worked with us and he made it right as fast as he could. Place was clean and tidy when we go there. I would stay here again.

Great trip, amazing cabin! It was very fun during early spring. Cannot imagine how much fun it would be during summer.

Cabin was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We very much enjoyed our winter stay with gorgeous views of the sunrise and sunset on the lake through the large windows. Even though the cabin had nearby neighbors, it felt secluded and private. Nisswa is a cute little lake town that we loved exploring. Danielle was kind and responsive as well. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again!

This place is magical! A beautiful, peaceful, wonderfully equipped cabin on a sleepy lake. We were there in Feb and made great use of the snowshoes, ice fishing on Patridge lake, and the hot tub. The robes available for getting in and out of the hot tub were most appreciated! Thomas was a super responsive host who was always quick to respond. We can't wait to go back in warmer weather.

We LOVED the Cuyuna bunkhouse, highly recommend to couples, small families or friends. It was perfect for us, our toddler and pup while house hunting in the area. Yard was spacious, house was very clean, beautifully designed with thoughtful touches. We hope to be back.

Found out last minute our family cabin had been double booked for my birthday weekend, so I did a quick search for something in the Brainerd for 5 of us and found this gem - so happy it worked out as we had the best time playing games and enjoying each other. Beautiful getaway in north central MN. The fall colors over the lake were breathtaking and the cabin was the perfect retreat for a group of friends. Spent nights around the bonfire swapping stories. Would definitely recommend. Ev was so responsive and very pleasant to communicate with, too.

Great location, big back yard and squeaky clean accommodations. Felt so cozy and right at home with the fire place going upon our arrival. The perfect little place for a week long getaway with our pups. Hosts were very communicative and flexible with check in and out. Would absolutely return!

We were in the area for a racing banquet and decided to try an Airbnb for the first time! Ben immediately reached out when our reservation was confirmed, and gave very clear directions on arriving, and answered all my questions. We stayed for two nights, and a had a party of 4, plus our dog. The cabin is very cozy and had everything you really need for a weekend stay. We made our own meals, and the kitchen provided everything that we needed! I did need to contact Ben a few times throughout the weekend regarding towels and the internet did go out, but he responded right away and helped the best he could and apologized for the inconvenience. If you are looking for a nice place to stay with family and pets, this is your place! We saw lots of wildlife as well during our stay! While we were leaving, we saw 5 deer in the driveway. The property is beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend this property!

We had a great stay! Our original accommodations canceled the night before our trip up north, and she accepted our trip right away! She was very responsive, overall would stay again!!

They responded right away when we had questions. The place was clean and had the amenities that we needed for cooking. The only thing I will say is that the roku doesn't work the best. It is nice to have that when its winter time.

Had a great stay at this place! Nice location and space. Very spacious so it’s perfect for small or big families. Had lots of activities available to use so we had plenty to do at the place. Host was also very quick to respond and friendly. Would definitely visit and stay again!

This was a gem of a cabin, just next to the Sagamore Unit of Cuyuna and 10 minutes from Crosby. The cabin was cozy with nice views of the lake. It is one big room, which I didn't notice when I made the reservation, but because of the layout of the space there are different sections and nooks, which made it comfortable for my family of 3. We would highly recommend!

Fue muy agradable para mi familia y yo, casi no teniamos necesidad de salir a comer a restaurantes afuera pues nos sentiamos muy agusto en la casa y con tantos juegos de mesa que estaban disponibles no sentiamos ganas de salir, estábamos muy comodos y con cosas necesarias

This place was fantastic. Out in the woods. Great setting with a view of the lake. Saw wildlife every day. Quiet. Home is very clean and decorated nicely. We had a wonderful stay.

It's a little tricky to find this spot and we recommend arriving during the daylight hours as we did. Once you get there, this cabin really can't be beat! We were back to Minnesota for a family reunion and this was the perfect spot for our family. The location was beautiful and we were never bored with great bass fishing, canoeing and corn hole. Thanks so much for the great spot to teach my 12 year old the best parts of growing up in Minnesota and we hope to come back and visit again! The only extra information I'd leave people is that there is a Trumpeter Swan that also calls this little part of Crooked Lake home, and his loud trumpeting can be a bit of a surprise and easily mistaken for a car alarm in the middle of the night. However, we would never complain that the swans, loons, eagles, wild turkeys and osprey all enjoy this location as much as we did! -S&B

We absolutely adored this tiny place. It was beautiful like the pictures and well-set up. The location is very serene with beautiful views of the lake. We would stay here again. :)

Our guys really enjoyed their stay and said it was a great home! we will use in the future again if in the area!
