Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

We had a great stay, all nice of us loved the house and the location. The host was extremely friendly and showed us around his land and was always helpful. I wouldn’t have changed anything about the trip, it was super clean and each room was amazing!!!

We are returning guests which is testament to how much we love this place and enjoyed our stay. This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with lots of thoughtful touches like books for the kids and local information. There is a local pub that does good pizza, a playground locally for the kids and it's a good location for getting out and about to places like Foel Farm and also for exploring further a field. We had a fab week celebrating my 60th birthday - a beautiful house in a superb location for walking, cycling and kayaking. Superb facilities and a great host.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to bars, restaurants, and the beach, with a big Spar shop nearby for anything we needed. The house itself was lovely. Fluffy towels, a well-equipped kitchen (we even managed a full roast dinner thanks to all the pans and bowls!), and thoughtful touches like cleaning products provided really made a difference. The dining table easily seated 8, and there was plenty of space to enjoy time together or relax separately. We especially appreciated the collection of family games—such a nice touch! The view of the ocean from the lounge was absolutely stunning. Marianne was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions. All in all, a great house in a great location—would definitely return!

WOW.... what an amazing property. A beautiful, spacious, country kitchen, with a lovely large table for family meals, greets you as you enter the house. All three bedrooms are really quirkily decorated with very comfy beds and snuggly bedding. The comfortable lounge upstairs is a really nice change. A nice, big couch is great for 'spreading out' and relaxing. There's a TV loads of books and a log burner for cosy fires. The biggest plus for us was the hot tub in its own fully enclosed, stone building in the garden. Perfect for relaxing in after a day's walking and exploring (we did lots including up Snowdon!!!) Again, the room is decorated with loads of quirky,sea themed items along with decorative lights. The whole place is amazing. We loved our few days there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a break away. Finally, a mention for Helen. Very welcoming, but totally unobtrusive. She made sure she said hello as we arrived and waved us off as well. FANTASTIC!!!

We had brilliant stay. We were a group of 9 friends who used this place as a base for the weekend. Surpassed my expectations. Big kitchen and lounge for us all to hang out and chill. Great bedrooms. Thank you so much.

Great place to stay, with beautiful views in every direction. Perfect host, really responsive and helpful. Not far from anywhere, with a short 5 or 6 minutes drive into Caernarfon and easy access to roads both into Snowdonia and on the coast. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to come back

We'd a fantastic stay with our toddler. The house was perfect for us; kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfy and the neighbourhood was peaceful. The location is great - a short walk to the co-op and the playground and we only needed the car if going further away. The local area has lots to offer young and active families; we did the parkrun along the river and hired bikes to cycle to Barmouth. Coed y Brenin is a short drive away with lots of walking/cycling trails too. We also had a fun day out on the Tal-y-llyn railway too! Family friendly dinner at the Torrent Walk Hotel was delicious.

Lovely place, ideal for a couple. Well equipped and clean. Just a short walk to the beach and the amenities of Criccieth. Ann was a lovely host.

My sister, cousin and I stayed at John & Sam’s place for 2 nights over the weekend as we planned to hike Snowdon. It was a cosy, comfortable stay in the perfect location with the most amazing shower and bath (which was really needed after a long day!) John introduced himself and was always responsive when we had any questions. We felt very much at ease the whole time. Definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic property. Stunning views of the sea. Great for walks along the beach and the amenities in the little town. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere as clean the place was spotless. We all loved our stay with something for everyone.

Great stay, within walking distance to Nefyn beach and local pubs/shops. Apartment was homely with everything you need. Great for dogs and excellent communication, would stay again

Lovely clean ground floor flat. Well presented with lots of kitchen equipment. Easy walk to Bangor town centre, but quite peaceful. Some noise from the road behind the flat, not too bad in March but I imagine would be more in summer months. Iman was very communicative with detailed information as to how to access the flat.

Superb appartment, spacious, well equiped, spotless and the views were absolutely amazing. Loads of local information available. Excellent location. The snacks and wine were a lovely thought. Patrick and Elena are brilliant hosts, Partick responded quickly to all messages. Can highly recommend and will definitely return.

This place was perfect for a couple of days cycling and walking around Anglesey. The apartment was comfortable and very clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The pub a few doors down was a bonus too and we had a nice mea there. Thanks to Rebecca for good information and being responsive about accomodating our bikes. The view from the front window was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay. Maranne is a very friendly, responsive, and helpful host. The flat was nicely decorated and very clean with a well equipped kitchen and an amazing view. We recommend staying at Maranne's accomodation.

Cosy and well-thought out space, without clutter but also not sterile in any way. Very nice place to stay after grueling miles up and down the mountains. :) Squeaky clean and with ample space for your items, clothes, luggage etc. Will definitely be back when in the area.

2nd time staying here, lovely little place!!

There were three of us staying and all agreed it's on our list as a revisit! John was a really warm, genuinely friendly host. Great recommendations and the flat which adjoins the house was perfect for our needs - we didn't spend much time in the flat with a full conference agenda for our stay but it would be equally good as a base for exploring the area properly. We'll likely be back if in North Wales for work or even for a break away. 'No frills' accommodation as John had described but, clean enough and well equipped for a few days stay, good warm shower and close to the uni and shops/food places. Diolch John, J, R and T 👍 😊

Katy’s place was absolutely wonderful, what a find! It was so lovely to meet Katy she was warm and welcoming. The apartment was gorgeous, just as described, spotlessly clean, incredibly homely and beautifully decorated. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer!
