Won and his wife were wonderful hosts. This was my first experience staying at a hostel. Fortunately, they were able to upgrade my room to a single occupancy at checkin. It didn’t feel like a hostel but a warm friendly-run extended family. They went out of their way to assist me, especially me being a single 58 yo female visiting Seoraksan to hike. Won even called a taxi for me at 3am in the morning and made sure I made it to airport on time! Talk about a five star service! Thank you Won and your wife for your warm and friendly hospitality! I hope to return soon.

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful in answering all my questions about the stay and the surrounding area and making sure I had a good time. U was even offered an umbrella as I was leaving since it was raining and I only had a raincoat. Overall great experience and very kind host, highly recommend.

La guesthouse est idéalement placée pour aller au parc national Seoraksan à pied et est facile d’accès en bus depuis le centre de Sokcho. Elle est super bien équipée et ma chambre était très confortable : j’ai passé deux excellentes nuits. Won et sa femme sont des hôtes merveilleux, réactifs, agréables, aidants.

It’s the perfect place to stay in, the national Park is one bus stop or 25min walk away and the bus in the other direction takes you to the beach in 30min The place was wonderful and everything was clean. The host was super nice and he speaks awesome English. Breakfast and dinner can be added and otherwise there is a convenient store right down the street

Korean style room is super minimum but nice and with everything necessary! I recommend it <3 nice mountain view too!

일주일동안 학교 갈 일이 생겨서 트윈 룸으로 예약했는데 너무 좋았어요!! 방도 좋고 욕실이 커서 좋았습니다 ㅎㅎ 바로 앞에 버스정류장도 있어서 좋았어요. 치약이랑 칫솔도 있고 냉장고 안에 물도 많아서 너무너무 좋았습니다 ㅜㅜ 😍

My stay here was brief but I hope to return again soon. Getting to the hostel from the Intercity Bus Terminal is easy but I also recommend taking a taxi if you want to save a lot of time (not cheap but not expensive). At check-in I was given very helpful information about hiking trails and they have a map with estimated trail times. They also offered me an upgrade to a private room because it wasn't busy! The breakfast is incredible and I highly recommend it, and the pizza option for dinner is a little more expensive but enough to feed two people. It's not luxurious but it's comfortable, warm (it was cold outside) and has a fridge. There are a handful of food options and one convenience store very close but you can also get food at Seoraksan Park. Also be mindful if taking taxis the short distance to or from the park entrance because they might charge you more than they should if you're a foreigner. Check-out on weekends can also get busy so plan ahead. Thank you for hosting me! :)

The host, 원, was very friendly and quick to answer. He even helped me with my laundry when the drying process went wrong. My room also got upgrated from a dormitory room to a private room. I even had my own bathtub. It is 20 minutes by foot located from seoraksan park, even in the gray time of mid march, the nature was spectacular and something I will never forget. A minute from the hotel, there is a bus stop that will take you to centrum Sokcho. I highly recommend this place if you plan on hiking Seoraksan.

Grosszügiges Zimmer. Bequemes, grosses Bett. Tolle Sicht. Sehr gute Lage, vieles in Gehdistanz. 2 Minuten zum Bus, Beide Busterminals, sowohl Intercity wie Express, dadurch gut erreichbar. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Hôte très acceuillant parlant bien anglais. Disponible et sympathique. Chambre confortable et grande, avec tous les équipements disponibles.

Suck a lovely place! A great experience and a really wonderful host. So much better than most hostels.
