We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Haarlem! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We only have positive emotions from our experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haarlem. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We loved staying in Bart’s house. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and pretty and the transport links are excellent. We easily took trains to Amsterdam, Haarlem and The Hague. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. The children loved all the playgrounds nearby too. Thank you for having us!

Wir hatten wunderbare 4 Tage in der Unterkunft. Der Check-in war einfach und unkompliziert. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr nett und schnell. Es wurde jederzeit auf Fragen reagiert. Das Haus ist wirklich toll alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Das Haus ist Stilvoll eingerichtet und es war sehr sauber. Die Lage war gut, Haarlem Zentrum war schnell zu erreichen sowie verschiedene Supermärkte, die man auch fußläufig Erreichen konnte. Innerhalb von 20 Min. war man mit dem Auto am Strand mit dem Fahrrad ca. 35 min. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen 💛

This place is like getting a taste of Dutch life. It's got that local charm plus all the modern stuff you want in a convenient spot very near to Harlem. Just around the corner you will find a great bakery, butcher, and an ice cream store, all best in the area. The train station is also right around the corner. The Zuid Kennemerland National Park is a short walk away. You can swim in the ocean or freshwater lake or just go to the beach. Amsterdam is a 24-minute train ride. It is a Dutch house, so expect typical Dutch stairs. All the rooms are comfortable with great views. The children's rooms are set up playfully. The kitchen is well-equipped with spices. Toys for children outdoor sitting area and gas grill. Great TV and Sonos sound system add Wi-Fi. Robert is very accessible and helpful. *****

Ci siamo sentiti come a casa, zona tranquilla, con servizi tutti vicini a 3 km dal centro di Haarlem. Per raggiungere Amsterdam abbiamo utilizzato il treno che in 10 minuti raggiunge la stazione centrale di Amsterdam. Consigliatissimo.

We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed for a week at this beautiful house. Pretty much everything about it was perfect. The house itself is stunning, and the children loved their bedrooms. The neighbourhood is peaceful, green and close to local shops (the local supermarket has everything you would need), a few restaurants and cafés, and the local train station. From the station Zandvoort was 6mins, the beautiful city of Haarlem 3mins and Amsterdam about 25mins. You could also easily cycle locally too. Fleur was a great host from our initial booking and throughout our stay. We tried out a few of the recommendations in the check-in guide and she was fast to respond when we had a couple of questions. We would highly recommend staying here in Overveen. Thank you Fleur and family.

The house was super great and almost more beautiful than in the photos. The information folder about the house, the surrounding area etc. was very helpful. We were also very happy about the drinks provided and the Nespresso set up! Sander was very easy to reach and always responded very quickly, helpfully and sympathetically.

We have family spread across the world and we decided this year to have Christmas together. Amsterdam Schiphol airport and Hook of Holland for the ferry all pointed to Haarlem as a perfect destination. You will find it a lovely town. Plenty to see, gorgeous architecture and plenty of independent businesses. From the home we were delighted to stay in, there were two local supermarkets just 5 mins walk away. Also a bakery, a butcher, chemist and ATM. Everything you need without having to drive. The area is a commuter town just 20 mins by train to Amsterdam. We saw plenty of young families. It was peaceful and safe. We arrived at the house to find a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and some delicacies for us (including wine!). We spent most of our time on the ground floor "hub" as we called it. It's a front to back open plan room. Great kitchen and a 3 meter family sized table which was perfect for our Christmas meals. Our hosts were responsive and we look forward to our next stay.
