We stayed here for one night and it was was a great stay. The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed (towels, linens, kitchen, etc). The jacuzzi was perfect after a long day exploring and was easy to set up and got warm very quickly. House was very clean and had comfortable beds! Host was great as well and would highly recommend.

Excellent accommodation for our family of 8 with young adults who enjoyed the pool table, darts, pacMan and hot tub after long days sightseeing. Very flexible host who accepted change to booking due to last minute flight cancellation. Cosy and warm as heating on constantly with a comfortable lived in feel throughout.

For a group of 6, Bjorns place was perfect!! The pullout couch is in a room that completely closes off, with a TV and a dresser so it feels like a third bedroom & the bed was very comfortable unlike most pullouts. Also, each bathroom has heated towel racks which were luxurious and amazing for drying wet clothes after lagoons and tours. It is the perfect location to walk to all of the Reykjavik highlights while still being quiet at night to get good sleep. I would 100% stay here again.

What an amazing place to stay. This was our first family trip with all kids as adults. Everyone loved the house and surroundings We are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you so much for everything.

Excelente casa para pasar unos días en Reikiavik! Solo a 10 minutos del centro, Sky Lagoon a 10 minutos, zona muy agradable y la casa hermosa. Todo lo que necesitas para pasar unos días como en casa.

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Everything was amazing. The water bottles at bedside and the chocolate on the pillows were a sweet touch. The space was perfect for our family. Ursula was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We appreciated the tour books and recommendations that were available. Thank you for your kind hospitality Ursula and Gulli.

Wonderful place to stay! This house provided all of the amenities we needed for our family of six of various ages. We had a fantastic trip together to Iceland and the hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions.

What’s an absolutely beautiful family home . We felt right at home here . so much that I didn’t want to come back home to England :( very spacious decorated lovely . It was the middle of winter and it was extremely warm for us as well. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and lots of treats left for us . Thankyou nothing was a problem . looked after the family Cat who was absolutely delightful And no trouble at all . Very close to everything supermarket round the corner, got everywhere very easy was really sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back one day. Thankyou so much xxx

Robert and Iris were amazing hosts. He was there to greet us at check in after an early morning flight and give us a tour of the home, there were some welcome treats, and everything was so clean and cute! We were convenient to downtown without the hecticness, tucked away in a cute little neighborhood. We had an amazing view from the wrap around balcony to the city's fireworks display. It was truly the most amazing location for New Year's Eve. Communication was excellent, going out of their way to assist us with multiple requests and went well above and beyond. We were so appreciative of everything and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was just perfect for our multi-generational family trip.

Hrafn's home was a great place to stay for our first visit to Iceland. Centrally located in Reykjavik, just minutes from the downtown area.

Thorey's home was beautiful and spacious for our group of eight. The house came with a well-equipped kitchen, large dining area for our big group, comfortable bedrooms, TV rooms and even a gym. The living room had an incredible view of the skyline and was situated in a quiet neighborhood with only a 10 minute drive to Reykjavik. Thorey was a great host who proactively provided tips for our travel days and was very responsive.

Gigja was extremely welcoming and helpful in showing us around the house and giving us local recommendations. Her house is an amazing place for kids! We had 3 kids under 5 who loved the trampoline, the 2 enclosed outdoor spaces and playhouse, and the toys and spacious interior. The place is immaculately clean and full of beautiful plants! There is a walking path that goes right by the house and runs along a stream and goes to 2 parks that we frequented. All things in Reykjavik were under 10 minutes by car. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.

Helena was warm, friendly and extremely helpful before we arrived and her house was simply wonderful. Clean, tidy, plenty of space and every bit as welcoming as Helena. The house felt really authentic and was a perfect base from which to explore this amazing country. We felt very much at home during our stay and we loved looking after Freyja (the cat). Helena left clear instructions as to how to navigate the house as well as lovely ideas for excursions. She contacted us ahead of our visit to send us information and replied to any of our queries straight away. We loved our time in Iceland and amongst all of our highlights of places we visited, returning home to Helena's house each evening was absolutely one of them. A very beautiful home and we feel lucky to have found such a gorgeous place to stay. Tim and Claire xx

I had such an incredible stay, the house was very cosy and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Everything was extremely clean and well thought out. Ágúst provided easy to follow instructions to find the place and was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Watching the stars from the outside jacuzzi was particularly special. I highly recommend!!!

Such a fabulous cabin in a stunning location. We enjoyed our stay immensely and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The hot tub was a bonus. We used it several times during our four nights stay. The cabin was spotlessly clean had every amenity to make us more than comfortable throughout our stay, the hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. Such a wonderful place, we really didn’t want to leave. Make sure you stock up on groceries when you pass a supermarket (as the nearest one open during our stay was a 25 minute drive) and you won’t want for a thing. We forgot to purchase some sugar for our hot drinks, so Matthias, one of the hosts, called round within a couple of hours with a bag of sugar cubes for us. Amazing service! The horses in the adjoining field were a delight to watch and kept my daughter entertained for hours. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

This feels like less of a "review" and more of our most sincere and incredibly heartfelt Thank You to Zoei and Bab. We came to Iceland for our secret elopement and booked our flights only after finding this Airbnb... we knew it was the perfect setting for our private ceremony, and there are truly no words to describe just how magical Zoei's Garden is. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the immense care and love and spiritual energy that they have poured into every corner of this home / property. The private hot spring lagoon was the most magical we experienced our entire time in Iceland. This home is by far the best kept secret on Airbnb, and hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Zoei was extremely communicative and helpful and so sweet and kind. It felt like we were staying at the home of a dear friend. We will never forget Zoei's Garden and cannot wait to come back. We had an absolutely amazing stay here! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Getting to the lodge was easy, both during the day and at night, and the check-in process couldn't have been smoother. The place is exactly as described, if not more beautiful in person. The views of the mountains and lake from the lodge are simply breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to catch glimpses of the Northern Lights! The location is also ideal, with many excursions not being too far away. A helpful tip - you’re planning to do the Northern Lights tour, we discovered that the stops to view them were only about a 5-minute drive from the lodge, so you might want to consider just driving around to catch them! Gudrun was fantastic and was always available to answer any questions we had. My family and I loved every moment of stay and We definitely hope to return in the future.

We had such a great time, the cabin exceeded expectations in every way! Lilja was very responsive and helpful for any questions we had. The most beautiful surroundings and so peaceful! We enjoyed the hot tub, dart board and pool table. We even got to see the auroras on 2 separate nights which was a real highlight! The kitchen is small with a small over, this didn’t matter for us but could be useful to know if you were not planning to go out much. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this cabin!!

A bit remote, but very peaceful place. Make sure you have supplies or be prepared to drive 20+ for the most simple sandwich. It was pretty chilly when first entering, but the place heats up pretty quickly. Soaking in the hot tub and looking up to see all the stars and aurora activity was pretty special. Tumi upgraded me to the main house which was great, as he needed to do some work on the cabin. On your trip to Thingvellir National Park you'll pass the Þórufoss falls. Use the google link to get directions to the place!
