Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay at Hartmann's. Brilliant communication before the visit and the house is lovely - Spacious, modern and well equipped. Roughly 10 minutes drive into central Reykjavik and in a quiet neighbourhood. Very warm and comfortable, perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sight seeing. Hot tub is an added bonus, and we saw the Northern Lights from it on our last night - An amazing experience! Thanks for having us!

This house is amazing. It is beautiful, quiet, and with all the amenities you need. Perfect for our group of 7 ladies, but would work well for 4 couples or another group or family. Having a car would be best from this location to explore Reykajavik and beyond. Easy access to highway for airport, city, or country. Grocery store is within walking distance. Fantastic, flexible host!

Sara’s place felt at home. We were comfortable. With 5 of us, 2 living spaces really helped. We are able to have our own spaces within the house. A relatively new home, fast internet and while it’s was super freezing out there, we were snug as a bug! Would happily return. Great communication too. 👍🏼

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was great home base for our day trips. The Airbnb had everything we needed as well. Olafur was very helpful and responsive. There were also more toys here for the kids than we’ve had at any other Airbnb which was perfect for keeping the kids busy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for families and convenient location for Reykjavik and the airport. Would highly recommend. Pros Quiet neighbourhood. Responsive host. Honoured the booking even though there was some sort of mix-up. Super helpful and the additional information during bad weather was really appreciated. Clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Great for families with young children. Improve Netflix on the main tv would be useful.

Excellent séjour, le logement était propre et correspondait à la description. Les commodités autour du logement sont aussi un plus. Un supermarché est accessible à pied et se situe à 200 m. Une ligne de bus donnant accès au centre de ville de Reykjavik en 15 mn avec un passage des bus tous 15-20 mn. Les taxis sont disponibles également jusqu'à très tard la nuit a un tres bon prix. Communication facile avec Annel, tout a été simple pour un bon séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had very nice and comfortable stay in Sabinas apartment. The location is very nice, close by the water, not too far from any supermarkets and close to Reykjavik. The apartment is very comfortable, very clean, kitchen has everything whats needed. We saw northern lights from our terase, what was a highlight to our trip. We really enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back if we visit Iceland again.

this place was perfect for families taking bus tours.. we loved the stay and felt like living in our hom.. kids loved the tv shows and we loved the kitchen to make our own food few times ..

Very convenient location. Great for traveling with a rental car. Close to city center and easy to start the trip to the south or north. Close to main road yet very quiet and private. Beds are comfortable. Corner unit with lovely open views on the back. It has a private patio with furniture. Though we didn’t use as we spent most our time outside. Note refrigerator is filled with owners food. Though there is a section cleaned out for us to use, I would have liked maybe a separate small/dorm fridge in the kitchen. Overall a good stay at a decent price.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. Check in/out was so easy, and the location was very peaceful. The heated floors in the bathroom felt so luxurious. We had a wonderful stay and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Iceland.

The host is very friendly and helpful, even though we booked the place at the last minute. He had the place ready for us within a few hours. The location is convenient, about 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik, with free parking available in either an outdoor lot or an indoor garage. It is also very close to a Bonus, a grocery store chain popular with locals. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with many luxury amenities. This is definitely a home away from home that we would love to return to. Thank you, Jon!

Dit is wat je hoopt te krijgen als je en comfortabel huis zoekt om een paar dagen een echte IJslandse familie te voelen. Het huis is werkelijk prachtig ingericht en het uitzicht an ale kanten op de oceaan is adembenemend. Het apartement is heerlijk schoon en voelt als thuis en de bedden slapen geweldig!

Superbe logement, avec une panorama superbe sur un lac et les montagnes enneigées. L'endroit n'est pas facile à trouver (nous avons du nous faire aider par des locaux à notre arrivée) mais une fois sur place, l'endroit est idyllique. La maison est propre et bien équipée, conforme à l'annonce. L'hôte est toujours très réactive par message pour répondre à nos questions. En bref, c'est l'endroit idéal pour passer un séjour reposant en Islande, tout en restant à proximité de la capitale et des lieux touristiques majeurs du cercle d'or.

Guten Tag zusammen, Die Unterkunft war für uns ein perfekter erster Stopp für unsere Reise durch Island. Man hat sich direkt heimig gefühlt und die Preis-Leistung ist fair. Die Lage ist ruhig und gut zu erreichen. Kleine Vorschläge zur Verbesserung hätten wir noch. -Das Licht hat teilweise geflackert -Es lagen Haare auf den Betten -Der Hot-Tub war nicht sauber -In der Küche gab es kein Backpapier für den Ofen. Das sind alles Kleinigkeiten, ansonsten war die Unterkunft für uns perfekt!

The scenery was amazing. It was wonderful to hang out on the porch, though admittedly a bit chilly in early October. The cabin was very cute, well laid out, clean, and with many small touches that made it wonderful. Only downside was that the hot water does have a strong sulfur smell and the kitchen sink is shallow resulting in water often spraying out of the sink due to the high water pressure. Aside from those two minor issues that place was perfect solitude. One other item to mention is that the nearby waterfall trail was very worthwhile. You park in the nearby small neighborhood and walk up an ATV trail. It was amazing to be the only people around the waterfall and to be able to hike further up the mountains.

Le logement correspond exactement au descriptif. Lieu idyllique, au milieu de la nature (lac gelé, neige, arbres, perdrix blanche...), dans lequel nous avons pu vivre d'agréables moments au coin du feu dans un chalet authentique. Magasins, activités et visites à proximité. Inoubliables aurores boréales dansantes sur le chalet. De plus, Halla est très réactive et attentionnée pour les visiteurs.

This was the perfect location for my trip to Iceland. I loved how it was 20-30 minutes from the city and still secluded. We were able to sit in the hot tub and night and watch the northern lights! I would stay here again!

Rogers place was so beautiful and slightly away from downtown Reykjavik that we were able to see the northern lights the first night! Highly recommend for a family or group trip to stay at with plenty of common space

This cabin was beautiful, very clean and had amazing surroundings. We stayed during November so we had plenty of snow and the lake was frozen which made such beautiful scenery. It is only a short drive to many tourist destinations but Hans also leaves a book on the table with locations to visit during the stay. We managed to view the northern lights in the hot tub on our last night! Very happy with the stay and will definitely be coming back in the future.
