It was a real joy staying in Ludvik's guest house. It was quite spacious for its size and all amenities were provided in abundance. It felt right at home and is an ideal place to stay before flying out of Iceland. It has our highest recommendation!

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

The apartment was amazing. Very clean and cozy! It has everything you need and more. On top of that the host is very friendly and answers quickly. She also provided us with recommendations regarding places to eat in the area. 10/10 would recommend!

Gísli's place was perfect! Clean, well equipped, comfortable, centrally located with a gorgeous view of Hallgrímskirkja. Cute deck, from which we were lucky enough to see the northern lights. it was a short walk to most of the places we wanted to see and there are great restaurant and café options close by. Gísli was communicative and helpful every step of the way! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great stay! The unit is warm and comfortable, lots of space and comfort for your guests. It was nice that the space had so much as far as ease with the grocery store close and walkable restaurants/bar, scenic things to see. We stayed for 7 days and this was our base, we saw and did so much of Iceland and our group was always comfortable and at ease. Amenities are great and lots of kitchen items for all your cooking needs. Would definitely stay again. I appreciate the heat was set and ready for us when arriving. We couldn’t figure out the bathroom fan but otherwise stay was great!

Lilja was easy to communicate with and the home is lovely with great water pressure and a very modern kitchen. We enjoyed using the grill and ate outside on the deck. Walking to Laugardalslaug was easy, only 3 minutes away.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect—close enough to downtown, but still in a quiet, peaceful area. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed to feel comfortable. We also loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house, from cozy blankets to the coffee pots. This place made our trip even more memorable.

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Great location!! Close and easy to all highways, 20 minutes to city and 20 minutes from KEF airport. Very quiet. The house had plenty of towels and linens and was very clean. This is owner's home, and she rents it out when she is out of town. It had 3 bedrooms and a fourth was a room partitioned off in the back of the large living room. There was also an oversized couch someone could sleep on. Plenty of comfortable and separate sleeping options. Would stay here again. Thanks

Our host was a kind and pleasant elderly gentleman, and the house was a real Icelandic home located in a quiet and peaceful village. It was his actual residence, and while the house was somewhat old, it was spacious enough for our family of four—two children and us as a couple—without any inconvenience. Although the official address suggests that it is not in Reykjavik but in a nearby town, the location was still great, and driving to the city center was quick and convenient, so it was not an issue at all.

Excellent stay at Hartmann's. Brilliant communication before the visit and the house is lovely - Spacious, modern and well equipped. Roughly 10 minutes drive into central Reykjavik and in a quiet neighbourhood. Very warm and comfortable, perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sight seeing. Hot tub is an added bonus, and we saw the Northern Lights from it on our last night - An amazing experience! Thanks for having us!

We stayed in Fridleifur's apartment for a week. The apartment was exactly as described, very comfortable, modern, and spotless. It’s located in a peaceful, yet central part of the city, making everything easily accessible. The host was very helpful and readily available throughout our stay. Thank you!

I stayed solo in this cozy studio for 10 days in February and it was great. Excellent location - as others mentioned, it's close to bus stop #8 which is convenient for tours and airport transfers, and close to a few other public bus stops too. The unit is also in walking distance to a number of great restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, the sculpture & shore walking path by the water, the Sundhöllin swimming pool, and more. The studio was safe, clean, and had everything I needed. I appreciated the free laundry, that the studio included a microwave, kettle, fridge, and hairdryer, and that I could adjust the heating as needed. Communication with Oddur was clear and prompt, and I really appreciated that they were flexible with my check-in and check-out times. The most exciting part for me is that I got to see the northern lights from the back garden/terrace on two different nights - it was magical! I'll definitely stay here again the next time I visit.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

Schöne neubau Wohnung in der nähe von einer Busstation. Ebenso ist man schnell zu fuss in der Skylagoon sowie kann man von dort einfach nordlichter beoabchten. Es war eine Sehr tolle Wohnung und ich würde sie sofort wieder buchen. 5/5

We had great stay with Bylgja. The place was clean, well presented and equipped. Bylgja communicated well with us and helped us out with local weather and travels tips before we left. I would stay with Bylgja again.

We were very comfortable at this Airbnb. Our group consisted of two couples, and there was a perfect amount of space and supplies at the apartment. The location was amazing, next to a coffee shop and a French fry place, both very good, and right next to the main shopping street. There was one free parking spot in the driveway for us.

I highly recommend this apartment as a home base for visiting Reykjavik and the surrounding area. The location is great for walking out the door into the thick of the city center. Meanwhile, the easy and free parking is convenient to stow the rental car needed for day trips into the countryside. Our host was responsive and helpful. The building is secure and felt safe.
