We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

The cabin and overall property was absolutely amazing. Very clean and comfortable interior surrounded by a beautiful property and waterfront. All amenities worked great and so many options in the way of entertainment On top of this, we were onsite during an intensive ice storm that put the entire region into a standstill. Violetta helped navigate this for us seamlessly by setting us up for another night to wait out the storm and connecting us with vehicle recovery services when we had access vehicle issues. She really went above and beyond throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend her properties for all other travellers.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage with our family! Despite being snowed in, we had plenty to keep us entertained—from the hot tub to the wide selection of games. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. However, the exceptional service from the owners made our stay stand out. They were incredibly responsive and supportive, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway. It was a great weekend! It's a very beautiful place where you feel at home! A hot tub is amazing 🤩! I enjoyed it! Jeff and Susan are great people with whom it was very easy to communicate. If you want to relax from busy city and just enjoy nature and silence I totally recommend this place 🫶🏻

I had a great time staying here and have already looked at when I can come back. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The view was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable as well. The door was a little difficult to get into the first time but he gave instructions on how to get in another way. Loved the little touches like leaving a treat for my dog and also having extra dog toys.

Loved loved loved! Will absolutely return, the house is cozy and comfortable, and so beautiful. We wanted for nothing and had the most relaxing weekend. 100% perfect.

Had a fantastic weekend at Ron's cottage, plenty of space for a small group and the cottage is stocked with things to do. Ron was always very responsive and even helped us out when we ran into a bit of car trouble on our last day, by sending us over to his son Jake who is the local mechanic in town - we were back on the road quickly thanks to them. Highly reccommend this place, thanks Ron!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! We just came back and had a wonderful time. The cottage was the perfect peaceful and cozy getaway for my wife and I. The cottage is updated nicely and has all the amenities you could ask for our use. It was spotless and amazingly comfortable for our relaxing getaway. For this time of year it was amazing to still be able to enjoy the dock on the lake and have a fire every night. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend to anyone looking for a great northern getaway.

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Jordan’s cozy cabin for a quiet weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the extra touches made it feel like a home away from home. The pebble stone feature was such a unique and thoughtful addition – especially in the winter! It provided extra warmth and made the space even cozier, which was exactly what we needed during our stay. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making it even easier to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely look into booking this cabin again in the summertime to enjoy the beautiful water activities and bonfire – this place is definitely a year-round gem! Highly recommend this cozy cabin for anyone looking to get away from it all. I will definitely be booking again soon!

Leonard’s cottages were a great place for a weekend getaway. The grounds were very well maintained and clean. The entire space was extremely family friendly. Leonard was a welcoming and effective host. The cottages are on a beautiful lake with access to fishing, swimming and canoeing. The cottages were well equipped for cooking. Excellent stay!

Staying as a family with 2 kids under 6, we loved Rachel’s place. Amazing little cabin, beautiful and quiet location. We didn’t even need to leave the property the kids had so much fun playing in the snow right around the cabin, we used the sauna every day, and daily walks around the side roads (be smart about you with traffic especially with the snowy shoulders). If you have used a wood stove before you should have no problems with the sauna heater. Rachel was a great host!

Nicole and Mike’s cabin was perfect for our trip. It is a bit small but there was enough space for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. Communication was great, super easy check in! The lake is absolutely beautiful. The location itself was close enough to all of the attractions, shops and restaurants we wanted to see, all within a 30 min drive. The cabin is older and a couple things could use a deep clean but besides that it was an amazing stay. We would love to come back😊

The cottage was absolutely amazing! Every morning, I went to the Halls Lake and fully immersed in the beautiful lake and the sound of water. What I liked about the cottage was also enough distance from the another properties. It was private place and surrounded by huge trees. Especially, I loved the dining room with big sliding windows and kitchen. Guests will be able to watch and feel the colourful autumn while having a dinner with your family or friends. I also much appreciate that Jonathan allowed us to check out later than the time we were supposed to do. Thank you for quick response when the heater wasn't working!

My friends and I went here on a trip to get away for some R&R. It's very relaxing and appropriate for a few friends or tiny family. Kelly was responsive and the area was very quiet. The best feature is the beautiful change in seasons and country roads. Thank you Kelly!
