Rachel and Don are very friendly and. Hospitable. The location is absolutely stunning, we enjoyed the stay and highly recommend a stay there. Ketch Harbour is serene and picturesque!

This is our second time staying at this host's properties. Last year, we stayed in the cottage at the back. We loved it so much we brought friends with us this year. And we’re already planning another trip for next March. It's a beautiful location with a clean environment, lovely hosts, and such a wonderful atmosphere. Hot tub is a bonus, house is so unique with beautiful 360 views. Everything you need is there. Thank you

Stayed here for nearly a week while my wife was at Dal, as it was very close and convenient for walking there. Yue was very kind, friendly, and always responded quickly. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I felt it was a great deal for the price and will definitely stay again next time we need a place in the area.

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

Wir haben uns hier sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus in welchem wir uns sehr sicher gefühlt haben. Wir sind mit unseren beiden Kindern gereist und es war perfekt. Alles ist für einen kurzen aber auch längeren Aufenthalt perfekt eingerichtet. Es ist fast nicht zu glauben wie nah Halifax liegt. Wir würden diese Unterkunft allen weiterempfehlen, da es sich aus unserer Sicht sowohl für Urlauber als auch Geschäftsreisende aus Halifax eignet. Vielen Dank, dass wir hier bleiben durften.

Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us! This property has million dollar views and the location is fabulous! The home is spacious with areas to gather indoors and outdoors. Also there are areas to escape if some alone time is needed. The dock is a perfect place to relax and hear the gentle lapping of the water, watch the birds and see a boat go by. The deck and hot tub levels offer serene views also. The hot tub was clean, hot and perfect for four! This is a newer listing and Mike is out of province so a bit harder for him to oversee the property. Perfection is in the details and I know that he will work out the ‘kinks’ that really did not affect our enjoyment here. A new cleaning team, a new stove, and perhaps a welcome manual would add to the perfection of this property. Our overall stay was 5/5 as any minimal negative was quickly addressed. Mike was very responsive! Come here to unwind, celebrate, de-compress, hit the water, have a fire, etc.
