Simona and Sorin's place is a real gem. The pictures don't do it justice. It's such a beautiful open space and was absolutely immaculately clean. The views were beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful. The house is very well appointed with everything you would need and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. The details in the house were very much appreciated, like really nice linens and a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub is also a bonus. We enjoyed sitting in there in the evening and soaking in all of the surroundings.

We had a wonderful time at Cheryl’s property. She was very accommodating with check in and check out times- which we really appreciated! This property was very clean, and we felt very comfortable! It has a beautiful view, and we felt far enough away from being in the city, while being only a 20 minute drive away! Would highly suggest this property, and Cheryl as a host!

The cottage is adorable and I loved the comfy beds and just the coziness of the cottage. The view is great and the sea breeze was so relaxing.

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly cozy exactly like the photos, if not better. The little touches, like the included Nespresso pods, bottle of wine and plush towels, made it feel like a boutique hotel. Our host was incredibly responsive and gave us amazing recommendations for hidden gem restaurants and scenic spots we wouldn’t have found otherwise. The check-in was seamless, and the neighborhood was safe and walkable, with great views around every corner. If you're debating whether to book this place do it! We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable! I would say the price is too low! considering what she's offering you with this place and experience right on the ocean. I however appreciate this type of Airbnb host through and through. Making this experience affordable and 1000/10 trip!

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at Tara’s cottage and we can’t say enough good things about it! It was very clean and had everything you might need for your stay. The hot tub and wood stove made our stay feel very cozy and relaxing! Not to mention the amazing lake view! Tara was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely be back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake! Thanks again Tara!

L’arrivée fut très appréciée avec le panier remplis de belles petites surprises. Quel belle attention. Vraiment une très belle vue , l’emplacement est magnifique. La maison très belle et très propre. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille. La seule recommandation serait d’arranger la cuve de la toilette car il faut toujours vérifier la chaîne sinon elle la cuve ne se remplit pas .

We had an awesome time at the cottage, experiencing both winter and spring by the lake with fantastic views. The cottage is clean and well equipped. We couldn't wish for more. Our hosts were very respectful and responsive. We would happily return.

Super laid back area, lots of room in the backyard if you were to travel with kids or pets! Super open concept and was super homey

First time visiting Nova Scotia and we couldn’t have chosen a better home and location. Beautiful home, 10/10 view and location, and very communicative and helpful hosts. Highly recommended for anyone looking to visit the area!

Larry’s cabin is modern and well-equipped, tucked away in the trees ten mins walk or a couple of minutes drive from the private beach. We felt at home and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. My daughter especially enjoyed the ladder ball, frisbee and bubbles as well as the little red squirrel which was around most days!

A lovely well-kept cottage right on the water in a little (former?) fishing village at the end of the road. If you want nightlife, restaurants, a grocery store, cafes, etc, this is not the place for you (though Halifax is very close). If you want a quiet beautiful spot on the ocean you’ve come to the right place.

Super cute and cozy place. Particularly loved the wood burning fireplace. Would highly recommend.

Janet is an amazing host and person. I’m so grateful to her and her husband for everything they did to make my stay exactly what I needed. They went above and beyond to help me out and make sure I had what I needed for my month long retreat. Great local recommendations and available when I had questions. They even sent the caretaker to help me with the bathtub so I could take a bath when I was feeling under the weather. So friendly, kind, and helpful, I am so grateful!

What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

Justin was an amazing host for the extended length of time we stayed at his place. Would highly recommend!

Another great stay as close as you can get to beautiful Martinique Beach!

A truly magical place. Location is ideal to visit so many different towns, trails and excursions. However, starting the morning off on the deck watching the sunrise and then ending the day cooking on the BBQ. The house is fully equipped with every kitchen gadget needed. 3 good sized bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. There is a wonderful community feeling.

Jared and Toni sent us a welcome message to make sure we made it in ok. The place was immaculate and recently updated, rustic lux. The bunkhouse, or shedroom, as we called it, was external to the house and was super quiet when the wind wasn't howling (we showed up in a storm). The view of the bay had plenty of wildlife and the supplied binoculars made the viewing that much better. Supplied Keurig coffee was a nice touch, but we opted for the coffee shop in Sheet Harbour most days, the oyster stout from Sober Island Brewing at night. Try the Spry Bay special pizza from the campground down the road, you can thank me later. We would certainly stay again, if they would have us.

Great little place to stay for a short getaway. Close to Peggy’s cove and the oceanstone. Cottage is very clean, peaceful and host responsive to messages. Would stay here again !

We had an amazing time at the cottage! The view is spectacular and so close to hubbards beach and the Shore Club. Darlene is an absolute sweetheart and so accommodating. The beds are comfy and the cottage has all the amenities you need. Thank you Darlene, we will be back
