The bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean. Beautifully quiet beach area with very few people. We enjoyed the hot tub and cinema screen. Tastefully decorated allowing for some much needed chill

My mum often visits ogmore-by-sea to remind her of my late dad who we lost in 2023 so booking the cottage was the perfect present for her birthday. The cottage was homely and had everything we could possibly need inside. Annabelle was so quick to respond to any queries it made the whole surprise for my mum easier to arrange. The views from the cottage are nothing short of spectacular. When we arrived it was quite windy so we opened the windows turned all the lights off and listened to the waves crashing by candlelight. When we woke up there were no cars in the carpark so we walked (in our pyjamas and waterproofs) across the cliff top to enjoy the views of the sun on the water and even saw a rainbow… this was my dad! we are already hoping to book again for the summer to take my two young children back and enjoy a family break without any shops, soft plays and parks just pure beauty at its finest. Had a beautiful stay at the Stables. The accommodation is so nicely decorated and has great touches to make it feel homely. Welcome gift was a lovely touch - and much enjoyed! Kitchen was well equipped, and it had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. On the doorstep are fantastic and dramatic coastal walks as well as the Exmoor hills, lots to discover. Thank you so much to Vivienne and Alan for hosting us.

We booked this at short notice and it was perfect for what we were looking for, after a very busy and stressful period we just wanted somewhere to chill and relax for a few nights. The yurt itself is well furnished and very comfortable with lots of attention to detail. There’s a decked area that leads to a bathroom and well equipped kitchen. A personal note from Camilla with a pack of biscuits and eggs was much appreciated as was the coffee, tea and milk that was in the kitchen. The weather whilst we stayed varied a lot but the yurt stayed warm and we didn’t find the need to use the log burner. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Ganders Cottage, with two young children. The cottage was spotlessly clean, pleasant to stay in and we put the patio to good use by having breakfast there every day. We even spotted a pheasant from the garden. The kids enjoyed the cottage and it was very family friendly. We only regret not taking the time to explore the farm and walk the area. The cottage was ideally situated to explore the Jurassic Coast, and we had many lovely outings to the nearby beaches. Charlotte and Robin were great hosts, attentive yet unintrusive, kind and thoughtful. They gave us good tips before and during the stay.

I’d never arranged a gathering with this many people before, so I was worried how it would turn out, but I needn’t have been, everything was fantastic from the get-go. The instructions to find the house were flawless, and there was plenty of parking space for us all. None of the bedrooms felt cramped, even though there were so many of us, and there were plenty of bathrooms dotted around. The kitchen is vast, with multiple fridges and a great oven, and we really enjoyed being able to eat together around the massive dining room table. The living room could accommodate all of us, and much fun was had with the pool and table football tables, as well as the hot tub. Throughout our stay our hosts were invisible unless we needed them, at which point they replied swiftly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large party, thanks for having us!

I would highly recommend this property for larger groups. Great location, clean, spacious and modern. Communication was almost instantaneous and check in was via a box on site, so very easy! Car parking for at least 2 cars with on street parking for other within a minute or so walk, and having the Tesco nearby was convenient for fuel and anything else we needed during our stay. Would easily stay here again!

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!
