Very glad to have had our family stay at this property, the owner was very helpful and the kitchen staff was very nice, his food was also really good! Great place to have a family gathering, with a pool and all the amenities at a reasonable price! Recommend

Als wir ankamen,hat uns die gesamte Familie sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Obstsaft empfangen und ruckzuck war das Gepäck schon nach oben gebracht. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind im 1.Stock umgehen von einem tollen Garten mit allerlei Vogelstimmen.Wir waren immer beim Frühstück unten und die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Will man zum Strand oder in die Stadt kann man die 200 Meter zu Fuß zur Haustrasse gehen und ein Tuck Tuck anhalten, wenn man Glück hat erwischt man auch eines direkt vor dem Anwesen. Alles in allem supernette Gastgeber und ein wirklich tolles Anwesen

We loved our time at CJ’s villa, she is such a wonderful host and we really appreciated the personal touches and recommendations. We went with two families and the space worked really well. The villa is in a great location, Marwella beach was our favourite family beach on the south coast (and we went to loads over two months!) The location was chilled and undeveloped allowing for that feeling of dream escapism, whilst still being only a short tuk tuk journey to Hiriketiya when we wanted to dip into the energy there. The Villa itself has huge rooms and loads of outdoor space, we saw so much wildlife from the villa- better than the safari!

The villa itself is absolutely stunning – spacious, clean, and surrounded by lush greenery that creates the perfect serene atmosphere. What made my stay even more special was the incredible hospitality from the owner. Not only did he provide such a warm welcome, but he also served as our driver, making everything so much easier and stress-free. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. Whether I needed suggestions for places to visit or a ride to explore the area, he was always there, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The combination of the beautiful villa and the personalised service made this experience unforgettable. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more perfect place to stay. Highly recommend this villa – it’s the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure with an exceptional host to match.

We had lovely stay at Ruwanthi’s villa which we chose due to its location for Yala national park. The host family (Anusha and co.) who live next door were exceptional in welcoming us and looking after us during our stay. They were always on hand and prepared us delicious home cooked meals. You’re well and truly in the midst of wildlife so be prepared for all kinds of creatures. Our toddler absolutely loved the pool, the fish in the ponds and the turtle. Ruwanthi’s team were incredibly helpful in organising a driver for a day trip to temples and nearby beaches where we could swim. They also organised our jeep for our Yala Safari, after successfully spotting almost all the animals we had hoped to see, our driver promised to do his best in getting us a rare sighting of a Sri Lankan leopard…just before sunset Michael graced us with his presence! Overall, an unforgettable experience.

Nestled within an 8-acre bush estate, the lodge offers an immersive experience in nature. The accommodations were comfortable, and the proximity to wildlife made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend Casa Wilderness to anyone seeking a unique and tranquil safari retreat.

Serdecznie polecamy to miejsce. Czyste, komfortowe, w ustronnym miejscu z daleka od hałasu. Bardzo dużo miesjca do wypoczynku w kilka osób. Na miejscu cały czas jest osoba, która pomaga w razie potrzeby. Cudowny basen. Na miejscu kuchnia do dyspozycji, w razie potrzeby także kucharz. Bardzo fajne miejsce dla osób, które cenią sobie komfort, ciekawy design i odrobinę luksusu w Azji. Nie ma klimatyzacji na miejscu, bo willa jest w otwartej formie i to może komuś przeszkadzać

Our stay at Villa Tila was super nice. Beautiful beach, plants, very clean and tidy villa itself. Quite authentic and remote place. Manager Thushara and his team are very kind, helpful and responsible people. On our last day they arranged very cosy dinner outside. In general Villa Tila definitely worth its money and will exceed your expectations. Highly recommend!

Unser Aufenthalt im Kadju House war einfach wunderbar. Das Haus selbst ist atemberaubend – elegant gestaltet, umgeben von üppiger Natur und mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Der Service war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Chamara und sein Team haben alles getan, um unseren Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft haben uns unglaublich willkommen und umsorgt fühlen lassen. Jedes Detail wurde mit so viel Liebe und Sorgfalt bedacht. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Infinity-Pool, der eine spektakuläre Aussicht bot und der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen war. Der Koch hat uns mit den köstlichsten Gerichten verwöhnt, alle traditionell und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt ein wahr gewordener Traum. Alles – von der atemberaubenden Lage über den exzellenten Service bis hin zum hervorragenden Essen – war einfach perfekt. Wir vergeben aus ganzem Herzen 5 Sterne und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Chamara und dem gesamten Team.

The villa was very nice with everything that we needed. It is very calm and peaceful - for u our family the perfect stay.

Muhudu Niwasa is a slice of heaven and we loved our 10 day stay here as a family of 4, (2 adults, 2 kids). All coms before arrival were fantastic, and the team on the ground, which is run by Pradeep, who look after you whilst there were also faultless, kind, and helpful. The house is what I would refer to as "stripped-back, or no frills" luxury, and the photos are true to what to expect and it was perfect for what we were after. What makes this place so great though, is the garden/beach/pool setting. Its a great location also, whilst swimming directly on the beach in front of the house is not advised, you only need to walk 100m up the beach to find a safer spot. The kids loved the pool, the monkeys that come to visit in the garden, the odd lizard and frog on the ground, and endless coconuts from the palm trees in the garden. The food was also yummy, and there are a lot of beach restaurants nearby to try out also, our favourite was Cinnabar up the road.

un vrai paradis ! avons eu du mal a quitter le logement. parc parfaitement entretenu ainsi que la piscine,maison accueillante et propre. avons demandé une option petit déjeuner qui était parfaite, réalisée par un gentil couple. proximité d'une très jolie plage de sable fin très peu fréquentée. Merci beaucoup nous aurions aimé prolonger notre séjour !

We had the most amazing stay at Sergi’s villa and probably one of the best places I have stayed at. The home is perfectly kitted out with everything you need, it has the most beautiful swimming pool and an immaculately kept garden. It is a one minute walk from Mawella beach which is so nice and quiet. Also Suresh and his wife who manage the property are extremely helpful, they arranged a driver to take us to the airport and will even cook breakfast for you for a reasonable price. All in all we loved it and would have stayed for longer if we could

WOW doesn’t even describe it well enough. Shirini was a super helpful host in always responding quickly and made our safe taxi service getting there as smooth as can be. We were greeted by the chef and two other staff members and went through our menu desires with chef (5-star quality food without a doubt) while the others got everything by our room for us. After that it was just sit back and enjoy. The rooms felt huge with the high ceilings and perfectly clean…and the view from the balcony was incredible. The pool was amazing with a speaker available for music, the sweetest doggies which we loved bc we miss ours from home. The beach was absolutely huge and gorgeous, and somehow we were basically the only ones for as far as we could see. That was unexpected & breathtaking. We even got to see turtle on our morning walk which was awesome! Cute little bar restaurant a few steps down the beach. Between the villa, the surroundings, and kind & attentive staff especially…best night here!!

This villa is just amazing! Beautiful surroundings, and the caretaker Anula was most wonderful, caring and service minded. The garden is fantastic and the animal life is rich: squirrels, monkeys, peacocks and other beautiful birds appeared daily. We and our three kids (9, 6 and 4 y/o) loved it all the way :) The house is spacious, well equiped, has a modern standard and was spotless clean. Very good wi-fi as well. This is a hit!

I almost don't want to review this as I would like to keep the place a secret but that would be selfish! We couldn't recommend staying in Whispering House more. Upal and his son were incredible hosts, cooking us delicious breakfasts. The house was spacious and perfect for our 2 year old to run around in, and the pool was great and a safe distance away. The location was perfect for us, restaurants close by but also quite quiet. Beautiful beaches along the coast too made for great day trips. upal sorted us out with everything we needed including a lovely lady who came and cooked for us and helped look after our child in the afternoon. Really couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a family holiday in a stunning location with lovely lovely people.

Located in Rekawa beach (near Ranna) about 10km from Tangalle, this isolated, oceanfront villa is the perfect getaway - I can't recommend it enough! The pictures do not do this place justice. Hans was responsive and helpful. The house staff were attentive and hospitable and we took advantage of paying for local food and having the staff cook for us during our three night stay - an incredible value based on local restaurant prices (and yummy too!). There is a restaurant closeby if you prefer that. The house is very large; the back yard and pool area spectacular; and the beach access great. You can also have the staff schedule multiple day trips to surrounding areas so this is a great base for exploring the southern coast. Highly recommended!

The highlights of our stay at Machan Villa were the surroundings and our hosts, Yasith and Soma. We spent a lot of time on the property, enjoying the pool area and beautiful gardens. The property is very private and borders "the jungle" so there was lots of animal life( birds-peacocks, monkeys, lizards). The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were large and clean. The kitchen could use some upgrading. There is no microwave and the barbeque and some appliances are looking pretty worn. Yasith and Soma were excellent hosts. They provided wonderful breakfasts every morning ( we did not need lunch!) and cooked great seafood dinners. They took great care of the grounds, pool and house while we were there. They also provided transportation and offered to book tours for us if we wished. We hope to return to the Villa some day!
