I absolutely give Daniel and Amber five stars for going out of their way to make us comfortable and accommodate our special requests. We arrived on Sunday and were hit by a huge storm on Tuesday. There is no controlling the weather! The power was knocked out for a large part of the area, including the Garnet Hill community. Our stay at Daniel’s was cut short but we were very thankful for the help and support we received from Daniel and Amber! Even though we had to move, we were still able to enjoy our stay and the children all had a fabulous time at the lake.

Great place to stay in the Southern Adirondacks, close to lots of great hiking, swimming/fishing, and other ADK adventures. House was very nice and spacious. Kitchen was particularly impressive. Property is large and it felt like we were away from it all, exactly what we were after. Would stay here again.

Great stay. Great hosts. Exactly as described. Read carefully, the layout is a bit unusual. 2 bedrooms 2 full baths downstairs. 4 bedrooms 1 full bath upstairs. Scenery is gorgeous. WiFi as promised and ski out to garnet hill (for adults) and 10 minutes to Gore (for teens) made it a perfect spot for our working ski vaca.

Our stay was excellent! The house is a modern retreat. It was great for both the kids and the adults with plenty of space to be together or on our own. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table and the ski park features in the yard. Highly recommended!

This cabin in the woods is a wonderful base for exploration of the Adirondacks. If you love the outdoors, I highly recommend this airbnb as there is plenty of wild to explore within an hour drive in all directions. The house is cozy with everything you would need to live there. Myself and 9 of my friends fit in this house and we had a wonderful weekend in the adks.

We had an incredible stay at the lodge in the Adirondacks hosted by Larry. From the moment we booked, Larry was communicative and accommodating. The lodge itself was perfect for our group of friends, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the stunning trails right from the property, ideal for snowshoeing in the winter. We also loved exploring the nearby cross-country skiing spot and returning to the lodge to cozy up by the fire and play board games. It was the perfect winter retreat! We had dinner one night at the Tavern next door, and it exceeded our expectations with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Larry provided us with a fantastic experience, blending hospitality with a beautiful setting. Would recommend!

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The hosts (Lenny and Boka) were incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even let us ride their snowmobile and invited us into their home for a drink, which was such a special touch. Their communication was excellent throughout our stay, and they went above and beyond to provide us with great tips and recommendations that truly enhanced our weekend. The cabin itself was stunning—beautifully decorated and so cozy, just like the perfect mountain retreat you’d imagine. The attention to detail really made it feel warm and inviting. And the location? Simply breathtaking! The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, and we couldn’t get enough of the views and nature around us. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly—it’s everything you could hope for in a getaway!

Lenny and Boka were wonderful hosts! The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and cozy, and they made sure that we had everything we needed.

This is a new house and everything in it was in perfect condition. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you would need and even had a meat thermometer. The house is very isolated but the road was plowed properly so no issues getting in or out. It's a short drive to North Creek or Gore Mountain. The place was spotless when we checked in as well. There is no cell service at the property but the wifi worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this cabin! It was a perfect size for our family of 4 and 2 large breed dogs. It has a great location, so close to the river and hiking trails. The hosts have carefully thought of so many amenities such as the electric Blackstone, awesome outdoor areas for hanging and s’mores and great family games for the times you may want to stay inside. We loved it so much that we booked with this host again at another one of their larger cabins in the same area to come up with more family at the end of the summer. We DEFINITELY recommend this cabin and hosts, it was a memorable time with our family.

Due to personal reasons, my trip ended before it truly began. However, Erica was such a sweet and communicative host for the short time my puppy and I were there. The river can be heard rushing nearby, and the cabin had everything we would've needed for a short weekend away-- coffee filters, coffee, creamers, paper towels, etc. Thank you, Erica, and we hope to be back someday soon! <3
