We had a great stay overall! The host was super responsive and accommodating throughout our visit. The home had everything we needed, and even when a few unexpected issues came up (like a leak during a storm and a dryer that wasn’t working), the host addressed our concerns quickly and fairly, even offering a refund to make things right. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place in a great location for our family who had events to attend in nearby Big Rapids. As this was a winter trip can only imagine the house and the whole area would make for a fantastic holiday.

Comfortable stay for 15 people. Nice area. Great big back porch which was nice during the day and evening. Would highly recommend this place to stay. So many kitchen appliances. Lots of towels and beach towels. Fully furnished.

Fantastic home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Lots of amenities. The hot tub was amazing! The view to the lake was beautiful. Lots of thoughtful details, like plentiful towels. Nicole was a great host. Would love to return in summer or fall to fully experience the natural beauty of Michigan and make use of more of the amenities.

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

Such a great week getaway. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side when we stayed but it is such a beautiful stay. Hoping to come back sometime towards the end of summer or fall to see the leaves changing colors!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin retreat! The location was perfect—set on top of a hill with tons of land to explore. It was so quiet and private, exactly what we were looking for. Our kids had an absolute blast running around and adventuring through the woods and open spaces. The whole family loved being able to disconnect and enjoy nature together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting! We also really appreciated the little things, such as the welcome bottle of wine. Great stay!

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

Hunting trip with some buddies went great, home was clean, host was very attentive and responsive to all communications. We had 2 unavoidable issues during our stay but our host were great and took care of both issues without question, and very timely. I would definately recommend this host and we well likely be booking more trips at other locations as well.

Our stay at this cabin was phenomenal! With its 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it perfectly accommodated our group's multiple families across various age groups. Not only was it a tremendous value, but its proximity to Traverse City made it an ideal choice for us. We were delighted by the cabin's cleanliness and the spacious, open layout. The endless supply of firewood was a blessing, especially during the unexpectedly chilly nights. Ryan was outstanding—responsive and helpful, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. This was our first visit to this area, and it surpassed our expectations. Although we typically kayak on the Oscoda River, we ventured to the Manistee River (just south of dam) this time and found it to be a much nicer trip. It’s safe to say that we’ve found our new summer kayaking destination. Overall amazing stay, would recommend!

A great birthday get away…. Close to things we wanted to see and quite at night when we returned! Very friendly and communicative with directions and answering all our questions!

There is not enough room here to rave about Grand Traverse Therapy. It went above and beyond the amenities listed, had spectacular spaces inside, everything you could imagine to enhance relaxation and the "therapy" name. The rooms are gorgeous, furniture comfy, more than enough places at the table, plus a great breakfast/lunch bar for casual dining comfort, more than enough table service (which is not always the case) that was beautiful and fit the space perfectly, more than enough towels (also not always the case), a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of space for several cooks to enjoy working together, plenty of storage space everywhere, great lighting with lots of different options for differing tastes and "atmosphere", plenty of options for leisure and relaxation (massage chair, pool, ping pong, foosball, game tables, sectional couches, lovely deck with eating area. . . it was a spectacular experience for our much-needed relaxation and restoration.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. The back yard was perfect for our blind doggie to wander around. The walking trail wasn't long, but it had a big hill so my heart got pumping. We would definately stay here again!
