We have stayed at this rental several times. It will always be our first choice when in Ponchatoula…nothing else compares. The home is comfortable and cozy. The backyard is peaceful and perfect for morning coffee or an evening dinner. There are great restaurants and shops nearby (walking distance). The town is quaint and peaceful. We are able to work remote during our stay with excellent WiFi. Thoughtful snacks from the host Linda are always waiting for you when you arrive. Out of all the places we stay when traveling, this ranks top on our list! Highly recommend and cannot say enough good things about the rental.

Very unique place. We enjoyed the grounds and sitting by the fire outside. Our fur baby enjoyed exploring too. It was relaxing and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. We also drove into nearby Covington and had a great lunch at LOLA.

We all enjoyed using the golf cart to get back and forth from parking area. Riding over the 2 bridges through the swamp was beautiful and exciting. Everything one could possibly need was there. The home was a rustic cabin but beautifully furnished and comfortable.

The host Karry was amazing to communicate with. The house was absolutely beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. There were plenty of towels for everyone and all of the necessities to make our stay comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.

The listing accurately describes Jeffrey and Ursula’s property. It is lovely. Quite a good layout for a family stay and spacious. Porches are fantastic. Very fresh and clean smelling - amazing for a historic home. Well cared for indeed. All amenities one could need. Close walk ( about 1/2 mile) to restaurants. Easy to find and clear access instructions. Quiet neighborhood. Highly responsive hosts! Great home.

The house is beautifully-updated and had everything we needed for a last-minute stay. We got quick responses when needed and Carlos was awesome! We were there for a horse competition in Folsom and will definitely consider reserving again for the next one!

Rich provided my mother and I with a great place to stay while we were looking for a home to purchase. He even went as far as installing extra locks on the doors to make my mother more comfortable, even though it seemed unnecessary, as I personally didn’t feel we were in a dangerous area. The beds were comfortable and clean and the backyard was perfect for our two dogs to play and do their thing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough:)

Would definitely stay at this property, if I ever find myself in the area again. Beautiful decor, great ambiance, amenities and location. Super close to nice restaurants and shops in the area. Comfortable space that made my family and I feel like we were at home. Highly recommend this 5 star property.

The place was beautiful and very cleans, area was quiet, everything worked properly AC, very hot water for bathing, it was everything we expected and more. Location was great lots of restaurants in the area. Super Host, great instructions on in and outs no problems whatsoever, about an hour from New Orleans no traffic getting in or out of Hammond will most definitely stay again. The price was reasonable, beds very comfortable. Thank you for a place that felt like home.

Gary was so kind to let me stay at his place on short notice. The lake view was beautiful!! Even though Gary was out of town he was there to help anytime. And the other guest there was so kind and respectful as well. Matt from next door also came by to check on me, so kind of him to do that. 💫
