Second time staying here, and we continue to love it! The location is great: pretty much anything in western Mass can be reached within about an hour or less from the house. At the house itself, you have a clean, comfortable, and ample space. The hot tub overlooking the river is definitely a highlight. The sounds of the river and the occasional rumble of trains passing by create a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Ginny’s farmhouse was a perfect home away from home for our family (including our dog) visiting our daughter nearby. Everything was warm, comfortable, lived-in yet very clean, and best of all, Ginny was so responsive and flexible with us when the heavy snow changed our plans. We enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, use of a full kitchen, record player, and games.

The Creation Station was by far one of the coolest airbnbs we have ever stayed up. Highly recommend!

We felt like we were in a historic charming New England home, with all of the amenities of a modern resort. Outside, you can relax on the deck, watch birds and butterflies in the wildflowers and the little frogs in the lily pond. If it rains, there's a screened in porch for eating and lounging. Judith even left us apples to feed the three horses up the hill in the pasture. The house is in a beautiful rural neighborhood and there's Atkins Farm nearby that supplied us with everything we needed for a little pre-wedding breakfast - including great sandwiches and apple cider donuts. There were a lot of sleeping options for guests and the house was spotlessly clean. It was so convenient for a familty gathering and for our daughter's wedding at the Red Barn at Hampshire College. Judith took the time to answer our questions by text and phone before we arrived and she left us a long, detailed instruction letter. We look forward to another stay in the near future. Escape to the Bershires is a true gem. We fell in love with the house and the location. The house is very spacious, we enjoyed the living room with the excellent entertainment center, the 2 other gathering rooms were great for private conversations. Each bedroom was comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everything you would need to make your gourmet meals. I have been renting from Airbnb for 8 yrs and this home is by far our favorite. We will return.

As others have described, the location is superb - close to the center of everything in downtown Northampton - and the apartment is clean and well appointed. The owner is very responsive and helpful, her instructions were clear, and she even arranged for us to access the apartment a tad early which was much appreciated. We were fortunate that the cleaning person was present when we arrived during a heavy snowstorm and helped us haul our luggage up the exposed outside stairs. It was a snowy and icy weekend, so the steps were particularly difficult to negotiate. We are an older couple (though we traveled there hoping to X-country ski) and generally don’t mind carrying our own luggage up flights of stairs, but we needed a bit of extra help this time. That matter aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robyn’s roost and would happily consider staying there again…preferably in finer weather. P.S. The owner kindly arranged to have the driveway plowed during our stay.

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

We enjoyed staying at Michelle’s place over Presidents’ Day week. The place was nice and cozy. It snowed so much while we were there. We had to forgo skiing because my car wasn’t cut out to be driven on the snow but we had a good time in front of the fire with Netflix and popcorn. The location was a little farther than I thought it would be from all the ski mountains but I guess the price took that into account. Michelle was so easy to communicate with. Overall it was a nice stay and we would love to be back someday!

Anna, bubba (the cat), and I visited the crows nest for the second time (and my third). It was wonderful, we love staying at the crows nest! It feels like we’re right at home and our cat loves running up and down the stairs. Theres plenty of hiking to do around, which was super fun to do in the snow. Carol and Robin let us know about a possible parking ban and where to park if that occurred (in their driveway), which we really appreciated!

We just got back from six nights and had a wonderful stay! The house was as described and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and dishwasher. We went with three 13 yr olds and they had a blast. The lake was good for swimming and paddling. I specifically wanted a lake that wasn’t so big the kids might paddle out and then not be able to paddle back, this was the perfect size. We all agreed the covered porch was our favorite spot, perfect for games and reading. It was a very restful stay and hope to be back next year!

This air bnb was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Really great for a few guests. The pictures do not give justice about how pretty the old New England home was. We felt like we were transported to 1935. We also really liked the pellet stove. The house has a really nice half circle drive way. Host was very responsive and flexible with the request. Clean, affordable, and easy. Loved it. Definitely recommend

A comfortable, hidden space amongst the hubbub of Northampton. The location could not be better. The place was squeaky clean with more than enough room. Remarkably quiet on a Saturday night.

We liked the design, well light and uplifting setup. Heating can be uneven, but place gets very cosy Kitchen was great Laundry was great and stocked It is a steep climb to the second floor, but we enjoy two entrances at the front and directly to the back where cars parked. Parking is tight, you need to park behind the building, if you have more than one vehicle, some сastling moves. We managed to park 2 work trucks there though Recommend.

Really cute apartment in a great location within walking distance of anything in downtown Northampton. Place was well decorated and had everything I needed. Sue responded very quickly with a handyman when a minor issue came up, it was fixed within an hour. Would stay here again!

Sue’s apartment is great and totally fit the bill for my stay in Northampton. You can walk to all the wonderful shops and stores in town, there is a place to park, the apartment is clean, warm and cozy, and Sue is easy to reach and very responsive. I have family in Northampton so I plan on visiting the area with some regularity and hope that I can stay here again.
