Staying at Maureen’s was lovely, like staying at an old friend’s home. The view is amazing and surroundings are so peaceful. The decor is great and everything was easy to do. Make sure you download the entry instructions esp. the door entry pin before you arrive because the cell signal is non existent - or at least was for us. The WiFi however was awesome and I was able to do several video calls without interruption. I would stay here again in a second. We are grateful that Maureen and family decided to share their wonderful place with the world! Thank you!

We had such a great stay! The view from the house is absolutely stunning — we never got tired of just sitting and taking it all in. The layout is super comfortable and easy to settle into, and the TV room is really spacious — perfect for movie nights. We also loved how much natural light fills the space during the day, it made everything feel warm and relaxing. We had fun exploring the area too — enjoyed some great restaurants in Berkeley Springs and the hike through the Paw Paw Tunnel was a cool adventure. Would definitely recommend this spot for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Felt very much like a HOME! We loved every second of it! Had a little coffee bar which was an amazing touch! Loved the privacy and the little game room. Everything about this little cabin! Will absolutely come back in the future!

This place was absolutely AMAZING this was a trip we planned with our family with our 3rd and finale child and it couldn’t have been any better! We also brought our (2) 13 year old labs who of them we just found out has liver cancer and has a short amount of time left with us so this place was just what we need to enjoy our family and love on our old men a little extra! We will defiantly be back to this place!! You won’t regrets staying here! It’s absolutely amazing!!

John and Jade's place was awesome! It was secluded and in a beautiful area. Wardensville was a quick drive away and had food and grocery options. They were responsive hosts and everything stated in the listing was exactly as described. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

We were looking to escape the noise and hustle of the city, and this was the perfect spot for what my friends and I called our “Relax and Reboot” getaway. From a peaceful sunrise by the river to unwinding in the hot tub, every moment was incredible. The house was the perfect blend of modern comfort and rustic charm—a truly beautiful log cabin. The hosts were friendly and provided great recommendations for local spots to explore. Overall, an unforgettable experience!

We loved our stay! The house was perfectly located with easy access to Star Tannery, Wardensville and Strasburg. We had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing weekend! It was well stock with all the little extras you need, including the kitchen, flashlights, matches, umbrellas, etc. We loved roasting s’mores by the fire and relaxing in the hot tub. My kids loved the loft so much! And it was a 3 minute drive to the amazing Eagle Rock hike. Thank you!!

Wonderful time staying at Kona’s Cabin. Hosts were wonderful and the place was a true gem, perfect get-away to the Shenandoah Valley.

This place was fantastic for a group. Kitchen was well stocked with good utensils and cookware. The appliances were all very nice as well as the atmosphere. They note that it can be hard to find with GPS. this is true. Apple Maps and Waze WILL take you to the wrong place. Google Maps seemed to work perfect. Only comment id add is it’s seems you need to hit star * after typing the gate code. Great place if you want a remote escape.

Jim and Lindy have created the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Nestled in a peaceful, scenic setting, the cabin strikes the perfect balance between cozy charm and modern convenience, offering every amenity we needed for a relaxing long weekend. We spent our days enjoying the breathtaking views from the deck, gathering around the firepit under the stars, and soaking up the warmth in the inviting sunroom. Warden Lake itself is absolutely stunning — perfect for fishing, peaceful walks, and simply taking in the serenity of the water. This hidden gem is truly a slice of heaven, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already counting down the days until we return this Fall!

My husband and I booked this cabin for our two year anniversary trip. This cabin was absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it. Everything was spotless and super clean and the space itself was cozy and well stocked with plenty to do inside. The hike up to the overlook near the cabin was definitely a workout, but 100% worth it for the view. We loved how quiet and serene the area was—truly a perfect escape. There was some adorable shops and a delicious restaurant just 15 minutes away and the lake was only about seven minutes from the cabin, which made for a great day trip. Highly recommend this spot if you want to unplug unwind and enjoy nature.

The perfect cabin in the perfect location! Truly the cleanest place with everything you need for a wonderful stay! Very comfortable bed and linens, and every kitchen utensil that you would need. Such an inviting and cozy place with beautiful views. Looking forward to returning!

Everything was fantastic! This has been the cleanest rental we have ever been to, by far!!The house is completely stocked with anything you could possibly need. They even left us a little welcome package with water, snacks and a bottle of wine. The area was super quiet and very easy to find. We will absolutely be back!

Great communication and a perfect spot

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

It was a great place to stay. Plenty of rooms and beds. Clean and Abby was very responsive when we had any questions. Amazing view the back deck and a nice quiet location tonrest and recuperate.

Wow! We had such a nice night at Buffalo Gap. Cabin just as described. Sean and all of the hosts were so friendly and helpful - we felt so welcomed and like it was our own little community. We’re already planning a trip back in the spring with extended family. Highly recommend!

I think it can be hard to find a great spot for a winter vacation. This was an incredibly cozy stay for a weekend of rest and rejuvenation. I love — love — that covered patio. It was a dream to curl up with cocoa & a book in that space while looking out at the river. The space is about a half hour drive from hiking, but it’s perfect for a restful vacation. I especially loved that you could clearly see the stars from the patio at night & there were no fireworks for New Year’s Eve in the area, which my nervous puppy was so grateful for. Would love to go back!

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Great location right beside the river, cozy inside with nice screened porch and firepit outside. A short drive to Wardensville for services. Recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here for our "mini honeymoon"! The screened-in porch was definitely a highlight—we loved relaxing outside, listening to the sounds of nature, watching the river, and enjoying a few meals together. It was the perfect balance of being close to Berkeley Springs while still feeling tucked away enough for a peaceful escape. The cottage had everything we needed and was so tidy and charming.
