The house was so cozy and the hot tub was such a treat after skiing! Definitely had everything we needed and then more. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Jack and Erica's little log home in the woods on the water was worth every penny! Beautiful home inside and out. Anything you can think of needing inside is there. The outside fire pit and jacuzzi are amazing to enjoy! Quiet escape from the noise of everyday life. Can not wait to go back and enjoy in the summer!

Our family had a great time at Fern Way! We had 5 teen/young adults and 3 older adults in our group. The house is conveniently located close to Long Pond for swimming and boating, and within easy driving distance of Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The kitchen is very nicely equipped with every kind of cooking utensil and pan you can imagine. The house is attractive and comfortably furnished. We’re so happy we planned our vacation there!

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

Even though we didn't make it up to the Looney Lodge, Shelly was incredibly helpful and kind through the entire process. Reminds you there are good people still in the world! Will be back in January!

Had a wonderful stay here! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the space and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We also loved having fresh eggs and other homemade goodies. Definitely would love to come back ❤️

This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

A great stay at this lovely, cozy home—yet again! Already looking forward to returning in July. You’ll find it all here: It’s quiet, with all the amenities you need (and nothing you don’t), the pretty water views, and a location that provides access to good restaurants and the beautiful Acadia National Park.

Cozy cottage, conveniently located, "very Mainish" from the decor to the build. My Grankids especially enjoyed meeting the chickens and walking the property as well as playing in the snow! We will definitely return!

I wrote this while on GCI! Enjoy! The Winds changed without a word. The Wind changed and so did the temperature down seven degrees. It had been so quiet. It had taken a little time to get used to the silence once we arrived on the island. Eventually the silence was replaced by a constant easterly wind as the September temperature reminded me that summer here was wanning. Fall begins today, right on que and even though I felt in isolation I did not feel alone, as the winds, for sure, were making sounds like peoples chatter and for a moment I had to turn my head and listen to make sense of the mystery and the wonder I've experienced through mother nature. Look here and listen. Take a moment and live in it. There is so much to gain if you can just stop and listen. F.Michael Sokasits September 22, 2024

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Cute little cabin in the woods!! Super clean, check in was very easy. Nichole was very easy to communicate with. The cabin was perfect for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Hillside for a week. The setting and location were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and I loved walking the trail. The house was roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend!!
