my group and i had an amazing time here for my birthday weekend trip! the house is so beautiful, very well decorated and stocked with everything you would need and more. everyone was super comfortable- perfect amount of space for our group of 8. the hosts’ were very responsive, kind, and helpful as well. instructions for the house/checkout were very clear and helpful. i would definitely stay here again if i come back to acadia and i recommend anyone visiting bar harbor to stay here! truly an amazing experience.

This property was so charming and a perfect fit for our group of 4. There is 1 bathroom in the main house and 1 in the garden house which worked out perfectly for us. The guidebook that the hosts provided was a huge help!

Desiree's place was a perfect getaway for our winter long weekend. Clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes we could need, and more. Desiree left clear and helpful home instructions, with plenty of great local recommendations, and thoughtful delicious treats, too. The sunrise mountain views from the living room were amazing!

Very nice place to relax while you’re exploring the area. Lots of good places to eat nearby. We will be back!

This luxurious cabin was perfect! Walking distance to a beautiful lighthouse and nestled back in the woods. The hot tub was a bonus after the long day of work/play. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space had ample room. Clean and new furniture. The beds were super comfortable. We'll definately be back.

It's rare, but the pictures didn't do justice to the house- the home exceeded the photos! It's a gorgeous home, VERY clean, with lots of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was very well supplied (better than any other Airbnb we've been in)- knives are sharp, the pots and pans are well-seasoned, plenty of herbs and spices, and the kitchen is perfect for everyone to gather round to chat and cook. Everything we needed was there for us. The setting is absolutely wonderful! Private, with woods all the way around. The only (very slightly) negative comment would be that it's really difficult to find when you're driving in for the first time, and it's dark. Three couples met there, after driving for 3 days. All of us drove past the driveway the first time, but a friendly neighbor helped us find our way. Once we knew where to turn in for the driveway, it was all good. All 6 of us agree- we would all highly recommend, and when we go back to Maine we will definitely stay there again!!

My husband and I rented this house so our nephew and his young son could visit with us. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Danielle was always responsive to questions and we were close to beautiful outdoor spaces.

Such a lovely clean, organized space. Beautiful view of the river. Quite close to a grocery store, gas station, Café, and restaurants nice to be off the beaten path but close to it. We had a very nice weekend and would absolutely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this place. Felt like home from home. Got to spend quality time with family in the area. The weather wasn’t great but it’s Maine in Winter. Shelby was great about sending someone out to plow & sand the road to the property whilst we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

We found Marty was a responsive host and we had a perfect restful and restorative mom’s weekend there. The hot tub was nice and warm and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Having two bathrooms was also a huge plus! The space was modern and cozy!

Had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin it’s a great location right on the water felt private and peaceful. We had so much fun loved the hot tub and gorgeous kitchen, everything looked just like the pictures. The host Sun, was very helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay here again!

Booked here for a quick weekend getaway. Marty was very accommodating with delivering few board games on request. The place was super clean and loved the time spent there.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary with our dog. This little home truly is a work of art. It is so beautiful and unique, and the owners really put some very thoughtful touches into the space. When we first walked in we immediately noticed the beautiful little dog bed, dog dishes, and dog treats - tell tale sign of good people! The hosts were so very kind and communicative. We had a cozy fire in the Woodstove, slept great in the comfortable bed downstairs, and really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub. Perfect winter getaway! Even with the compost toilet 😆
