So remote.. so relaxing.. really, a world away from anything. We really enjoyed our stay, the place itself, the area around. The views are just spectacular, and the house was great for our family of 5. Super spacious, well equipped.

Lovely peaceful spot surrounded by trees and open grassy areas, chooks, a delightfully friendly little dog, birdsong and a great big deck for, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Very friendly lovely hosts, there for a chat but also left us to enjoy the peace and quiet. This place was perfect for us for a few days rest and relaxation and a base for exploring Gisborne only a few minutes drive away. Splendid beach ten minutes walk away.

Sally’s place is amazing. Direct access to Wainui beach, you couldn’t ask for a better location if you want a beach holiday. They have incredible outdoor furniture to lounge, dine and relax on. Plus a spectacular beach viewing deck to take the ocean, sun, moon and stars in. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Sally for a wonderful stay.

This was a great place for a group of adults with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen. The character house has interesting photos, books and memorabilia to make it feel like a home. Anaru and Juliet were very responsive to our questions both before and during the stay.

Peace and quiet on a beautiful beach. What more can you ask for... well an amazing hot tub and pool don't hurt at all. Very kind owners.

We had a lovely stay, the house is charming and in a wonderful spot. Mary was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again.
