The Hosts were quick to respond to our queries ahead of our visit. Got the impression they want you to have an enjoyable and stress free stay in their property. We felt immediately at home with all the lovely Xmas decs they had adorned the cottage with, which added to the already cozy atmosphere. Welcomed by a delicious cake from the local bakery too!, which was a lovely touch. Would really recommend Bee Cottage in Cottesmore. So much to see and do/walk around the area. Friendly pub 5 mins away too and a fabulous special dinner out at the Olive Branch Restaurant in Clipsham. Thank you to Steve and Hanri! Hilary and Chris

I booked based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. The cottage is lovely and has everything you could need for a perfect stay. I was able to park directly outside the cottage with no concerns. Rutland Water is gorgeous and I really enjoyed walking round the reservoir. I also drove to Seaton and found a great view of the very impressive viaduct. I didn’t meet Marie or Ben but Marie was in contact throughout my visit to make sure I had everything I needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely property.

We had a great stay at Willow Lodge. Dave was fantastic; he went above and beyond. He gave us a tour of the farm and even allowed us to hold the lambs. He invited us to his house to watch football, and as we were out at the time of the match, he offered to drop his Fire Stick around. The accommodation was great, and the hot tub was much needed. The place is completely dog-friendly and safe, with a fenced-off garden. We will definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay at Claire's property. The property was as described. It was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well stocked (plenty of crockery, glasses and cookware).

We had a wonderful break at the cottage. It was so peaceful and private. We had everything we needed and clear instructions, it was lovely, cosy and clean. Mark and Ruth are fantastic hosts, really responsive, friendly and proactive. Thank you so much 🙂

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage and the village are beautiful. Stephanie and her daughter gave us all the information we needed and were lovely to deal with. Hope to be back again soon!

amazing stay at Stuart and Jane's lovely caravan and the surroundings were amazingly peaceful. the people in the other caravans were really friendly and talkative. the land surrounding the accommodation is well worth a walk around if you have time. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there anytime of the year. thankyou again guys🙂

The most incredible and relaxing getaway!! 🤩 I booked this glamping pod as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and it could not have been better! The lodge itself was absolutely stunning and full of character and with the additional romance package added, made for the most perfect and romantic surprise. The wood fired hot tub was secluded down a little path, with fairy lights hanging above and surrounded by trees, it was such a peaceful atmosphere! Our host Saffron also could not have been more helpful, she was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience simple and stress free! We also had the opportunity to pay for a later checkout! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough will definitely be returning in summer! 🤩

Lovely cottage in a woderful village with a convenient shop and some great pubs all within walking distance. Lots of places to explore on dog walks too. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here!
