Amazing experience! We stayed in the cabin for 2 days but I’d easily spend in the house a week or two. Perfect location right next to the water with mountains around. 3 isolated bedrooms, nice wooden stove, 100% equipped kitchen, even the dishes are super beautiful Absolutely worth all the good reviews, thank you!

Great place, great experience, great host. Bonus was a light show in the sky- aurora on January 1st was something we will never forget.

We had a very nice stay at the house. The host is a very friendly woman and we felt very welcomed. The area is breathtaking and the house has the perfect view over the water and the beautiful nature of Norway.

Beautiful place. Great location and scenic view! Mr. Sverre is very friendly and helpful. Even we had the very last minute booking and check in after sunset. He's still walk us around and give all the informations we need. Feel like home and local. Very warm and touching especially when we are in the foreign country. All the equipments are very easy to use. Very comfortable stay. Pleasant journey!

I came here with three friends on holiday and stayed here for three nights. If we could give more than five stars we absolutely would! Tord and his parents were truly the best Airbnb hosts I’ve had and I travel quite a lot. We had numerous obstacles (self-inflicted) on this part of the trip and they always responded very promptly and went WELL out of their way to offer help or solutions. We would love to come back and HIGHLY recommend these excellent hosts! They made our trip amazing!

Die Unterkunft lag sehr schön am Wasser und wir konnten dort gut entspannen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, geräumig und sauber.

Had an amazing time at Christian's place, very private amd relaxing with amazing views. Fireplace was so cozy at night when the temperature dropped and the place was a short easy drive into Bergen. Would reccomend!

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Thank you so much!!

During our camping trip we took shelter in this home during a rainy day and one night. It’s a fantastic, small, cosy cottage so it was great to have a day inside in this house. The view is amazing and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the fjord. I can imagine that if the weather is nice that you can enjoy sitting in the garden.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Aleksander’s house! Aleksander welcomed us and showed us around. We stayed in the winter around New Year with snow all around. The view from the living room is magnificent. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teenage boys and a dog -the house was perfect with 3 bedrooms. There’s a very large and comfy couch in the living room (and an enormous television ;) The hot tub in the garden was great -even with temperatures of -11 degrees the water was very warm (40 degrees). There’s a sauna in the garden with beautiful views (besides the large sauna near the lake on the pictures). You van also take an ice bath! Ål is a quiet little town with little entertainment -there’s a large supermarket and supercharger at 5 minutes drive. It is a half hour drive to Geilo for skiing or a husky ride!

Anders is een perfecte gastheer die behulpzaam is en zeer flexibel is. De boot en zelfs de Hengels mocht ik gebruiken (boot zoals aangegeven tegen een vergoeding). Prachtige locatie voor wandelingen en (voor mij vooral) vissen (kabeljauw, pollak, Leng, pijlinktvis, schar en zelfs een haai).

Meget bra beliggenhet med stor og usjenert hyttetomt med helt fantastisk fin utsikt! Her er det masse man kan finne på for store og små. Spesielt fint å fiske! Selve hytta er liten, men har alt man trenger av fasiliteter. Det er flere sittegrupper ute og en gøyal liten hytte på toppen av knausen med utsikt over hele fjorden. Området rundt, Vinnesholmen marina og friluftområdet er også meget hyggelig. Her er det godt å være.

We had the best time at Johanne and Alexsander’s place! It is so beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. It’s in a great location with walking routes right from the house and the new sauna with views over the fjord is amazing! Johanne and Alexsander are both really helpful and responsive hosts, they helped out us out with recommendations for walking routes. We will definitely be back!

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in diesem liebevollen Haus. Wir haben Ruhe gesucht und bei Gunn gefunden, Danke dafür. Der Blick ist unbezahlbar und man könnte den ganzen Tag am Fenster sitzen und aufs Wasser schauen. Wer kann schon gemütlich auf dem Sofa sitzen und die Nordlichter über dem Wasser tanzen sehen. Auf unsere Fragen hat Gunn sehr schnell reagiert und obwohl sie nicht vor Ort war gab es schnell Hilfe. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus verfügt über eine super Ausstattung, bei der man im Urlaub auf nichts verzichten muss, selbst wenn man wie wir mit dem Flugzeug kommt. Auch ohne Auto ist es kein Problem. Mit dem Bus ist man innerhalb von 30-45 Minuten inkl. Fußweg in Bergen, je nachdem welchen Bus man wählt. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Danke das wir Gast sein durften.

We had an incredible stay at Julian's place! From the moment we booked, Julian's communication was outstanding. He promptly answered all of our questions and messages with kindness and clarity, making us feel welcomed even before we arrived and throughout our stay. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Hoi Eve we hebben heel erg genoten van jullie huis. Was echt perfect. Fantastische locatie en heerlijk veel ruimte. prachtig.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt. Das Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Musikanlage klingt sehr gut und ist über den Fernseher leicht zu bedienen. Highlight ist der gemütliche Wintergarten mit direktem Blick auf das Wasser und die Inseln. Auch die Terasse mit Blick aufs Wasser und der Bootsanleger laden zum Entspannen ein. Truls ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter, offener und fürsorglicher Gastgeber, der uns bei allen Fragen sofort geantwortet hat.

Wer auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Entspannung so nah als möglich an der Natur dran ist, ist hier genau am richtigen Ort. Britt war super lieb und hilfsbereit bei all unseren Fragen. Fotos können nur schwer zeigen wie schön die Landschaft tatsächlich ist.Gerne wieder
