We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Ingvild. Une maison traditionnelle de 1791 parfaitement rénovée, joliment décorée et très fonctionnelle. On s'y sent bien immediatement. L'endroit est idéal pour découvrir Bergen.

Odd’s place is a sweet little place not far from Flam. It’s a very comfortable and cosy place with amazing views of the valley and a waterfall right behind the property. The place is walkable distance from Lunden station and even from Flam. All the facilities were functional and well maintained. Odd as a host was very good and accommodating. We reached the place a tad early but still got to checkin before the stipulated time. The instructions to reach the place was very succinct and to the point. He also gave great suggestions on what to do around the region. Overall we had a great time staying here and recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in the region to consider this place.

Vi måtte reise til Odda på kort varsel og være der i flere dager av familiære årsaker. Vi var så heldige å få leie Orinta sitt hus, og det passet perfekt for oss som er en familie på fem voksne. Huset ligger nesten midt i sentrum av Odda og det er gratis parkering like ved. Huset ligger i en hage (som sikkerterkjempefin om sommeren), og er pent innredet. Alt var rent og ryddig, og vi hadde alt vi trengte. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!

Wir waren 2 Wochen in Stigs wunderschönem Haus und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus war weihnachtlich geschmückt und wir wurden sogar mit einem Weihnachtsbaum begrüßt. Alles war wir auf den Fotos und der Blick aus dem Haus ist atemberaubend schön. Wir hatten das Glück neben Schnee auch zweimal die Polarlichter sehen zu dürfen. Stig war so lieb und hatte uns Bescheid gegeben, dass sie aktuell in der Nähe zu sehen sein. Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Urlaub und freuen uns bald zurückzukommen.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful cosy stay at Pia's home. It was conveniently located near the town centre and within walking distance to various attractions. We did a lovely hike up Mount Floyen which was just at our back door. The home was located in a quiet and quaint neighbourhood, although on an uphill, so just to note for those who may have mobility challenges. The home was fully furnished, with ample rooms, bathrooms, beddings and towels all provided for. A fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities. The children loved having a piano in the living room and a playground near by. Pia was very easy to communicate with and even went out of her way to provide some warm clothing for my children as I wasn't sure that we would be sufficiently prepared for the cold. It was slightly cold in the home, but we layered up and were ok. Thanks very much, Pia, for letting us stay at your home. Highly recommend her place to any group!

Koslig plass. Hyggelig vert og rask på tilbakemelding. Rolig nabolag med gangavstand til sentrum. Besøker gjerne igjen.

Vi havde det hyggeligste ophold. Vi nød den private placering, den dejlige udsigt, roen i de norske fjelde og brændeovnen. Virkelig en dejlig hytte med veludstyret køkken og god stemning.

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

Familien vår hadde et supert opphold i denne koselige leiligheten. Den var ren, varm og inneholdt alt vi trengte for et godt opphold. Ein fin leilighet i et flott område, perfekt om ein vil stå på ski ☺️

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Vi hadde en herlig helg i Sauda. Leiligheten hadde alt du måtte trenge, og var veldig koselig innredet. Ypperlig beliggenhet hvis du skal i skitrekket, og flotte omgivelser. Veldig hyggelig vert som svarte raskt, og var fleksibel med utsjekk. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Nils und seiner Familie. Der Check-in war einfach und flexibel, Nils war ein super Gastgeber und hat immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und uns gute Tipps für unsere Zeit gegeben. Die Wohnung war einwandfrei und sieht genau aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Perfect apartment just minutes from Flam in a quiet town, just a few steps from the Fjord. We loved this place and hoped we could have stayed longer. The owners made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended

Vi hadde eit svært fint opphald på denne staden i 5 døgn. Leilegheita hadde ein heimleg atmosfære og låg i eit stille og fredeleg område. Kommunikasjonen med verten gjekk heilt problemfritt. Alt vi trengde, var tilgjengeleg. Ein stor fordel var at utgangspunktet for fjellturane til Fløen og Ulriken låg i gangavstand frå huset – veldig praktisk for oss som likar å gå på tur. Eg vil absolutt anbefale denne verten til andre!

Beautiful walk to the lake behind the house and also the lake in the valley. Comfortable house with everything you could need in the kitchen or bathroom. Very friendly and helpful advice. Great cross country skiiing locations nearby.

We had an amazing stay, the house is just stunning. Christer was always available for the questions we had. Amazing house, amazing view, walking distance from the city center. 100% recommend!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Hilde. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist sehr schön. Das Haus war für uns mit 10 Personen absolut ausreichend groß. Alles war sehr sauber und schön. Das Boot, das zusätzlich gemietet werden kann, ist einfach aber in sehr gutem Zustand und hat einen 20 PS-Motor. Als Angler kann ich sagen: Der Fjord ist ein absolut hervorragendes Gewässer für Makrele und Seelachs. Hilde hat uns zusätzlich tolle Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Danke!

Wir haben eine Woche in dem schönen Haus von Hans Åge verbracht. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute, ruhige Lage. Es ist modern eingerichtet und man hat einen tollen Blick aus jedem Raum des Hauses. Hier merkt man, dass der Architekt sich bei dem Entwurf viele Gedanken über die Umgebung, die Aussicht und das Zusammenspiel mit dem Haus gemacht hat. Hans Åge ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat uns hervorragende Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die Natur gegeben. Obwohl wir nicht das beste Wetter erwischt hatten, konnten wir sehr viele Sachen unternehmen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch das Suldalbad in Sand. Hier findet man ein reichhaltiges Angebot inklusive Sauna, Whirlpool und Rutsche und kann so sehr gut einen verregneten Nachmittag dort verbringen. Wir fanden es dort so toll, dass wir sogar zweimal hingefahren sind. Die Umgebung von Sand ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Und bietet alles, was das norwegische Urlaubsherz begehrt: Wanderungen, Wasserfälle und Angel-Ausflüge.

Hakon et Silje ont été des hôtes très agréables, proactifs, disponibles, capables de répondre à toutes nos questions sans fautes (activités, …). La maison est superbe, grande, chaleureuse, avec une vue dont on ne peut pas se lasser. Nous étions 7 à l’intérieur de la maison et nous avions largement d’espace pour dormir et se déplacer. Le logement est situé dans un endroit calme et reposant ce qui rajoute au charme de l’ensemble. Mention spéciale au sol chauffant dans les deux salles de bain, très agréable à la sortie de la douche ! :) Je recommande largement !

The accomodation was great and we had an amazing time. The house has everything you need. We stayed during winter and with the fireplace and the hot tub it was very comfortable. The hosts were great either. Veronika even decorated the house with Christmas decoration for us which was really amazing. They were very communicative and gave us good tips. Absolutely recommendable.
