Heerlijke rustige locatie met veel ruimte en een privé zwembad. Leuk om ook de eigenaar te ontmoeten die ons uitnodigde voor een whisky!

Auf der Farm mit Schafen, Ziegen, Pferden, Hühnern und vielen mehr, konnten wir Wynand bei seiner Arbeit mit den Tieren begleiten und auf den Kontrollfahrten auf der grossen Farm mitfahren. Dabei haben wir viel über die natürlichen Zusammenhänge in der Kalahari gelernt. Wenn man dort ist, sollte man unbedingt das hervorragende Braai-Paket und die Sundowner-Fahrt bestellen. Das war ein unvergessliches, exklusives Erlebnis. Die beiden Hofhunde Nella und Ben haben uns gut unterhalten und während der Nacht beschützt. Ben hat uns auf einer längeren Wanderung auf der Farm begleitet. Wynand ist ein sehr liebenswürdiger Gastgeber, der das Cottage mit allem ausgerüstet hat, was es für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht, inklusive AC, für die wir sehr dankbar waren. Wir durften schon viele AirBnB Unterkünfte im südlichen Afrika besuchen, aber in keinem war das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis derart gut. Das Dorsland Cottage auf der Tiger´s Lair Farm ist wahrhaftig ein Geheimtipp.

We really enjoyed our stay at KayJays Nest. The flat looked just like it did in the pictures. It was clean and modern and had all the amenities you could need during your stay. Definitely recommend this place.

An absolute gem! Unspoilt nature in rustic yet extremely comfortable, well maintained and clean accommodation. Although power sources are solar and gas, you still have all the comforts of home - just better because it is so amazingly quiet and peaceful…and the stars…oh, my goodness…incredible night sky!!

Linza and Smit were wonderful hosts who made sure we had a great stay. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The farm and dunes were beautiful as well. Would highly recommend. Only regret is that we couldn’t have stayed longer!

Amazing accommodation with a gorgeous view. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities can be done, like a daytrip to Sossusvlei (1 hour drive to the gate + 45 min to Deadvlei), off-roading and hiking through with private trails. We had a great time, would definitely recommend

Nada nous a très bien accueilli et nous a même proposé de partager les fêtes de Noël avec sa famille et ses amis. Nous avons pu goûter des spécialités locales et avons été particulièrement bien intégré durant ses périodes de fêtes de fin d’année. Encore merci pour tout avec de très bons souvenirs du coucher de soleil au sommet des dunes. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Christophe
