Luke is a warm and excellent host. His home is lovely and inviting, neat and beautifully decorated, amazing little details all over his place. All gadgets to make your stay comfortable and efficient are available, including music, kitchen, tv, laundry, an extremely comfy bed loaded with pillows. His apartment is located at a historic lower Manhattan block of which only two were rescued by a group of artists in the ‘60s, and have been preserved. It is said that the bar depicted in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick was once there somewhere. Let Luke tell you about this. He has tons of informative and interesting books on all kinds of subjects, lots of art ones. I was able to walk a small cobblestone street, Stone street, down the block, and eat at small places with delicious food a few doors down. The subway station is just a few blocks away, close to the Battery, Wall Street, the “Bull”. And to top it off, Luke’s monumental and amazing art covers his walls. I acquired an amazing piece.

Great place to stay, would definitely recommend for anybody planning a trip to Williamsburg in the future

Yasmina and Paul's place is a hidden gem and a perfect spot to stay in the NYC area. The loft is spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you need is a short walk away and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The train to Grand Central (40 min) is only 3 mins walk from the front door. The two hosts are kind, helpful and will help you out with anything you need. Highly recommend this loft for an NYC trip, for tourism or business. Thanks both for the great stay!

I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say that the Henry Norman exceeded all of our expectations. Firstly, the room was massive – I'm not sure the photos do it justice – and the bed was one of the comfiest we've slept on. The staff were excellent and the hotel was only 5/10 minutes walk away from the subway, though greenpoint (specifically bagel point and the peter pan bakery) is a great area. My only very minor gripe would be the relatively small gym if that kind of thing bothers you (good for running, not much else) and that noise can come through the ceiling if you have guests above you. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I stayed in Mike's place for 2 weeks and I had a lot of privacy. The flat is very close the subway and to good restaurants. You can literally see the Empire State from the rooftop, so it’s right in the heart of Manhattan. I had all amenities I needed to be there for a couple of weeks. Had a lovely time there and would for sure come back.

I LOVED everything about the Henry Norman. The space itself was airy, bright, chic and modern. I loved the high ceilings, and the amount of space I had. The bed was comfy, and I loved the area of the studio that had the couch and desk. Isaiah and Martin at the Front Desk were incredibly warm, responsive and helpful. My stay at the Henry Norman exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Overall it was a good experience. The only thing I can say to be aware of is the beds in the bunk bed are a bit small and the steps to the top bunk may give some people pause. Other than that everything was neat, clean, clear, and aesthetically pleasing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lauren’s Airbnb near Hamilton Park in Jersey City! Lauren was incredibly friendly and communicative, ensuring that every detail was taken care of and that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our 1.5-year-old. The location is ideal—just a short distance from NYC, making it easy to get in the city or out to the NJ suburbs. Hamilton Park is right around the corner, which was perfect for a morning stroll with our little one. The unit itself is beautifully designed, with a modern, stylish aesthetic that still feels cozy and welcoming. The amenities in the building were fantastic—whether it was the kids playroom or the gym, it felt like a true home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough! Lauren’s thoughtfulness and the incredible location, combined with the beautiful space and top-notch amenities, made for a truly memorable stay while we were back for the holidays. We look forward to returning!

Super cute place and very nice and clean.

Nice place! Loft overlooking the living room is neat. The living room TV was big and the image quality was great. Huge columnar windows let in a lot of great natural light if it’s sunny. Bed was supremely comfortable and the covers were some of the warmest I’ve ever felt. Pleasant surprise! Host always responded in a very clear and timely fashion.

The stay was great! The place was really cute and exactly as described and is an easy bus away from Manhattan. The only thing I should tell you is that the line of the bus to go back to NJ from Port Authority in Manhattan can be very long at night time, so plan around that. Overall, I’d stay there again.

Aurora was the perfect host. She let us drop off our bags early while the space was still being cleaned up, and gave us a thorough rundown of everything in the home. She was friendly, attentive, and very communicative, while also giving us plenty of privacy. The space itself was beautiful, clean, tidy and unique. My wife loved using the sauna and spending time with the cats who we let in from the garden. There were lots of great books around the space to browse as well. We had friends in the area and the location was perfect for us to walk to their places and meet up easily. We took the G train a few times, which was very close and convenient. There were lots of great restaurants, cafes, bookstores and bakeries around. The garden was beautiful and got great light, so I enjoyed sitting out back and reading with a coffee or a beer. We would definitely return!

We reserved Cam's place for five days in New York during the New Year holidays. The accommodation was excellent—clean and conveniently located near everything. Cam was a fantastic host, making our stay even better.
