Very nice, clean, comfortable little space for the cost. She made sure we were taken care of, the heat was already on for us when we arrived that night. It was nice to have some snack and drink options already provided, had everything we could have needed. It was a nice escape to return to at the end of the day during our visit. Would recommend and will keep in mind for the future if we pass through again.

Great little house for a couple or small family. Much more inviting than a hotel.

From three guests attending a meeting at Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Burns: It was spotless! I do not know how they managed that with all the dust available in Burns. For me, living in Milton-Freewater, near a wheat field, the cleanliness of it was most impressive. I would have loved having information about the people in the photo-boxes. There were no books. That fascinated all three of us. The doodads where most interesting. A marvelous mix of real antiques and Hobby Lobby type stuff. Marvelous! I stayed in one of the downstairs bedrooms. The bathroom was wonderful. Well kept wainscoting, enamel tub with a halo shower, and thoughtful use of the space. I had a comfortable bed, the house was very clean, and I had an granola bar to put under vitamins so it was quite nice. It was very nice and incredibly clean. And fun to be somewhere with “down home” ambiance. Wish we’d had more time to enjoy the nooks and gathering places.

A delightful home. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, as well as all the wildlife in the neighborhood. It was a heart warming feeling, seeing the history of the home, with pictures and stories. We look forward to our next visit.

This is an oasis that feels like a home in the middle of nowhere. It’s super clean. They had a lot of books and movies available. The internet is not the speed one is used to in the city, but it got the job done. It was a relief to have it considering there was no cell signal anywhere out there past Lakeview. There was a nice area outdoors behind the house that we didn’t utilize, but the sound of the creek behind the house was pleasant. Hart mountain offers gorgeous vistas and the Werner Wetlands is a must for birders. We very much appreciated having a clean and comfortable place to stay in the middle of nowhere.

We loved staying in Samantha's house for 3 nights over Thanksgiving break. We love coming out to Harney county and spending our days exploring our favorite sites and finding new ones. Then, to come home to this warm and cozy house that was so conveniently located was a real treat. The kitchen was very functional and the living room was very comfortable. The beds are also quite comfortable. We felt right at home. We would absolutely love to stay there again.

Perfect location for a work stay and for what I needed. My daughter and pups came with this time. They were able to stretch out and hang out with me between shifts which was nice. And the fenced yard was great for them which was a determining factor for us to pick this place. Definitely glad we did.

Beautiful and peaceful! Lots of beautiful birds around you to watch! Dark starry sky for a night time relaxation! This place has so much to offer if you are into nature. Clean, well equipped with kitchen amenities if you like to cook. Close to gas station. Mimi was a great communicator when we needed help. A couple of things, if you are using a navigation app, use Pedro springs instead of the address on the Airbnb, the address takes you to a gate in a ranch a few miles south. If you are driving from south to north, the direction given on Airbnb does not help as much. Simply look for Pedro springs and you will be at the right place. Also, Verizon and T mobile (not sure about other carriers) don’t have signal a few miles from the place.

Deborah was an excellent host. Property was clean and as described. Would definitely stay here again!

I was here for work in the area and it was exactly what I needed. I was near all the amenities I needed but able to get peace and rest too. Perfect balance for everything. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
