A great place to stay close to the lake Walking distance to town but removed from the town center. Other air BnB’s on the property didn’t cause any privacy issues A lovely outlook onto a small lake with ducks and rabbits visiting each day made the stay so much more pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay! Excellent location for exploring the area. We loved how close it was to the bike trails The cottage was very clean and well appointed, comfortable beds and excellent water pressure! We are looking forward to rebooking again

We loved our New Year's break at the Captain's Cottage. Jamie and Linda are great hosts who, after providing some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area in advance and making us feel welcome when checking in, respected our privacy throughout our stay. They were particularly patient with our dog, who also took a shine to them, and was fond of visiting them without an invitation! The cottage itself was clean, cosy and lived up to the other excellent reviews. Jamie and Linda had thought of everything: from the quaint nautical themed decor to the complimentary breakfast supplies and port. Highlights for us were the hot tub, the views of sunset from the veranda, and saying hello to the horses in the neighbouring paddock. Our only regrets by the end of our visit were that we didn't find time to use the pool and that we didn't stay for longer!

This Airbnb is a gem to stay at. It has all the amenities you need for a beautiful vacation, including wood fire, hot tub, gorgeous scenery, fully stocked kitchen with every tool for cooking, comfortable beds, great wifi, etc etc. It was very comfortable and very clean. There was attention to detail. We loved our stay and waking up to kangaroos on the property is always pleasant.

One of the best airbnb rentals we've had. In a beautiful setting within easy reach of Lake Sambell and the town, the cottage is spacious and very comfortable with everything you need. It was spotless and all arrangements worked perfectly. Many thanks to Kerry and Adrian, we have had a really lovely holiday.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at this lovely cottage house in Beechworth. The property was impeccably clean and beautifully tidy, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. It was also wonderfully well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing and hassle-free stay. It felt like a home away from home for a relaxing getaway. Perfectly located for exploring the town. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

The studio was amazing, and the bedroom upstairs had an amazing spa bath and great shower head. You could lie in bed and see the trees though the high windows. Nice linen and super clean even had a small dishwasher which is a bonus on holidays. Nice compact little kitchenette. Can walk down to the river which is a very short distance. Linda was quick to response when we had an issue with the Wi-Fi. Was no service with your phones, need to use their Wi-Fi.

A great place to stay if you have a dog, everything catered for and great surroundings. The recommendations Linda left for dog friendly places was spot on and the instructions really clear. It is also a lovely place, quiet, off the beaten road, practical and clean. Near to all the tourist trappings like Beechworth, Bright, Milawa and the Kind Valley.

This is a beautifully designed house that makes the most of its garden and creek frontage. We particularly appreciated the care and thought that has gone into the high quality bed linen, kitchen crockery/utensils, and eco-friendly touches. Our hosts were prompt and very helpful when needed -thank you!

This quaint little cottage was such a beautiful surprise for us and we just felt so happy and at home as soon as we walked in. Firstly we booked this place very last minute only a few hours before we arrived and they were so helpful and had the place all ready and beautiful for us when we arrived only a short time after booking. Then when we walked in we were just blown away by the feeling of the space, all the little touches and even a beautiful garden for our fur baby. This morning we sat in the garden as the sun came up and it was magic. It was super quiet, immaculately clean and so beautifully designed in such a stylish, country vibe. We will definitely be back on our next road trip!

Absolutely beautiful character filled home. You can walk to town and bikes were provided to go further afield or on the rail trail. Can’t wait to go back!

Fiona & Chris were lovely hosts. They were very helpful when we needed to change dates. It was a lovely clean & comfortable place to stay, along with a beautiful view.. The little extras were amazing; freshly baked bread, freshly laid eggs & homemade jams. Doesn’t get much better. We’ll be back.

We had a wonderful time at Julianna’s place. It was a lovely cottage and an easy walk to town. We loved sitting out in the huge backyard with our dog, who also loved it!

We enjoyed very much our stay at the 3BlackSHEDS. The accommodation is very neat and clean; the bed is cosy; and the place is peaceful. On top of these, Alan and Rowena got everything well prepared for a comfortable holiday away from home, yet just like at our own home. We love the food and beverages they supplied for breakfast: fresh, nutritious and delicious. The communication with them is also great, too, as Alan alway responded promptly and provided the supplies, answers and information we needed. All these reflected that Alan and Rowena are the caring and thoughtful host who made our holiday extra enjoyable.

A great piece of history (with modern conveniences) in a pretty, very peaceful historical town. Mervyn And Tracey provide an opportunity to experience time in a living museum...a very clean, comfortable and stunning museum! Everything has been thought of, all the extras provided go above and beyond. The home and surrounds provide the most peaceful experience. Bushland, breweries and wineries surround the area. The weather was fantastic during our stay making getting out to visit the aforementioned attractions a great experience, topped of with a cooling swim in the pools at Woolshed Falls. A great part of the country if you are looking for a very peaceful, comfortable and relaxing experience in a beautiful rural setting.

We absolutely loved Riverstone Cottage. This was our second visit, having come in winter 2016, it was special to see it in summertime and enjoy swimming in the river. Our dog loved it all too. Beautifully renovated new kitchen, which we had the honour of being the first to use.

We loved our stay . Great place ...beautiful gardens.. Had everything we needed .Highlight was Ash ( the border collie) . He/ she is adorable . Wanted to take him/ her home with us ! Looking forward to staying again. : )

Perfect getaway with a tranquil setting. Cosy and quaint, set out perfectly with lovely cottage feel. Attention to detail and well presented. We couldn’t make the most of the time as we had commitments during the weekend, but will definitely try and make it back when we are looking for a place to rest, relax and recharge. Our stay was wonderful. The views of the surrounding valley and mountains especially at sunrise and sunset are stunning. The accommodation is exceptionally well maintained and presented and very comfortable and quiet. If you want to getaway and do nothing, this is the place. (Although we used it as a base to go gravel bike riding in Moyhu and Whitfield). Phil was the perfect balance of ‘there and/or available’ without being in any way intrusive. Spacious bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. Bar size fridge and freezer is fine for 1-3 days but you may be tight on space for a longer stay.

Hosts were fantastic -very welcoming, responsive & helpful. A great house for our little holiday with lots of space & everything we needed and in a beautiful country setting.
