Frog town is a quiet little piece of paradise! We had a busy week driving all over Texas, and our final stop was Frog Town. It was the perfect last stop offering total peace, quiet, and natural beauty. The cottage itself is even more adorable than the pictures show! It's spacious, nicely furnished, and has just the right amount of homey decor. There is truly not one thing we could have wanted that wasn't already provided. Brandi and Steven are very thoughtful hosts who want their guests to have an amazing experience, and we did! In addition to the comfy and cozy inside, we also spent lots of time on the front porch swings and on the deck. You cannot go wrong by choosing to stay at Frog Town! We spend over 50 nights a year traveling, so we stay in many places. This is truly one of the best!

I've been wanting to visit Caddo Lake for some time now. I really just wanted to be among the moss covered cypress trees. Angela's house is perfect for this. I can't imagine a better back yard than this. We had the pond all to oursleves or at least it felt that way. We visited the state park and the main attraction there is the Saw Mill Pond. It is beautiful but I think the Paradise Pine pond, which is where this house is located, is better. The house is close to all the attractions. I recommend going over to the Johnson Ranch Marina for a boat tour, where you can see the actual Caddo lake and get some history of the area. Anyway, Angela's propery was a nice place to decompress and spend time with our family. The only thing I might have wished I would have brought with me was a kayak or paddle board. The back yard is perfect for it, at least in the cold while all the gaters were sleeping :)

Enjoyed the lake house! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Host was very responsive. House was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The kids had a fantastic time with the camping fire pit activities and kayaking adventures. The surroundings were peaceful and provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Overall, it was such a pleasant and memorable experience

My only complaint is theirs a wasp nest somewhere in the house and the closet door was broken. Other than that we’re pleasantly please with our stay and considering doing it again next time when we’re down that way

We had a wonderful time stay here. We had 2 sons and their families with us. We loved the whole experience. The house is amazing, however we spent a lot of time on the deck or trying to fish. We definitely want to come back. Thank you so much.

We chose this place for a weekend visit to Caddo Lake State Park. Did not disappoint. The host was flexible to allow us early check in. Very responsive and proactive, checking on how our stay experience was on a daily basis. Will definitely choose this place again. Thank you for the treats!

During the past 20 years I’ve stayed in multiple locations on Caddo Lake and Top Water hosted by Susie is amazing! I would recommend staying at Top Water hosted by Susie to everyone!

This place was great. I booked it for my wife and I 11 year anniversary. We loved being able to launch our kayaks there and the views were awesome. Jennifer was a great host that responded quickly when we had a question. The place was clean and gave a home like feel. Plus Jefferson is just a short drive and the restaurants were awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to my friend.

We enjoyed our stay in Karnack. The location is fantastic, right on the water. The screened back porch was a favorite place to relax. There are two additional outdoor seating areas on the water. The house had all the essentials we needed for a great girls weekend. There is even a margarita machine. We loved the kitchrn table for meals and playing games. There is also a large table on the covered porch outside. There was plenty of parking for our three cars. We took a fantastic pontoon boat tour with Captain Dan Walker at Chill-lax n Boat Tours. He picks you up right at the dock at this house. We loved the town of Jefferson. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. We highly recommend the General Store. We also enjoyed hiking Caddo State Park Trails.

Erica’s place is exactly as described. Beautiful location - right on the lake! My family and I enjoyed walking along the shore looking for seashells and playing in the water. Nice sandy bottom. It was nice to sit out by the fire and make s’mores. Inside is nice and clean. Spacious enough for our family of 5. Approximately 30 minutes from downtown Jefferson, Caddo Lake (we took a boat tour leaving out of Uncertain, TX), and Longview. Erica’s very responsive. We had some difficulties getting the fire table started on our first night and she sent her neighbor to help us the following morning (I didn’t message her about the fire table until 10pm the night before so I appreciated her getting someone out to help us so quickly).
