This is a lovely place to stay and very close to the ski resort which made it nice for our trip. The home was as described and we loved the backyard view with periodically dear sightings.

We had a great stay at Barbara’s home. We were there over the week of Christmas and Barbara had a tree and decorations. We appreciated it so much. The house looked very festive. The house is big! We had lots of space to spread out. The hot tub was well used as well as the games and tables in the basement. The area around the house is beautiful and Barbara gave us a tour of their sheep farm and invited us to walk around the property. We did that and enjoyed our walk along the creek to the river. If you are looking for a peaceful place for a group, this will suit you and Barbara is a wonderful host.

Amazing place! Really beautiful and will definitely come back to this one. Unbelievable sunrises from the deck looking over the mountain range, hiking during the day, and evenings in the hot tub watching the sun go down. Deer everywhere and even saw a couple of bald eagles. This is a really amazing place. One of the best I've ever stayed in. Tania and Fred were fantastic hosts. It was incredibly windy and crazy weather when we were there and the power got knocked out for a couple hours. They let us know immediately, and promised to stay in touch. We made a great dinner by candlelight in any case and did some proper stargazing from the deck.

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

This was an excellent retreat, the house and location are stunning and provide a plethora of things to do. With the ski resort right down the road, this is the perfect place to relax and get ready for a day of snowboarding. Jeff was incredibly communicative, giving us heads ups throughout our stay on when cleaning would occur, and ensuring the place stayed nice for the next guests. Really couldn’t reccomend it enough!

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

Loved the house - just beautiful with lots to do - pool, hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table, foosball table, darts, piano... Herb met us at the house and walked us around showing all the amenities. Herb followed up when I left to make sure all was well.

The space was perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in. The beds were comfortable, and the living space had plenty of seating. The location was convenient to UVA, the mall, and Monticello.

Jeff was great at communication and flexibility for our trip. If you’re looking for a great host that makes you comfortable, stay here. The house itself was awesome. We had no major issues, which is rare for a rental of this size

This was our second time booking with Paul and April, and we are so glad we had another opportunity. They are so nice as hosts, and their customer service is top-notch. The home is comfortable and accommodating and so close to the slopes and the amenities. The Kitchen has it all! We are a big family, and we fit nicely. Unfortunately, this will be our last stay. Our family is growing, and this sweet home will not be able to accommodate us next year. It was amazing while it lasted.

The Riverhouse was so nice and cozy! Loved how close it was to the river - view out of the front was all river and the view out of the back still had the mountains, it was lovely. Scot was super responsive to any questions and so personable! If you want a cozy little getaway with friends/family, this is definitely a good pick for you!

Such a wonderful lil home. I would most definitely come again. So peaceful and homey. Out from civilization, but not too far if wanting to go shopping. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. One of the best homes that I have been to

The house was incredible and the pictures do not do the view enough justice. We had an amazing and relaxing weekend at Blakely’s! Very grateful we got to enjoy their home.

While we ended up not being able to use (had booked for out of town family for my mom’s funeral), Abby refunded even though it was last minute. Impending snowstorm -too dangerous to travel. We will definitely rebook for mom’s Celebration of Life. Appreciate Abby’s kindness during a difficult time. I would definitely recommend! Beautiful home, spacious, good location, walking distance to good food. Happy to talk to anyone interested as I live nearby. Thank you again Abby!

What an incredible place to stay. We have stayed at Suzanne’s two different times over Christmas. The house is just perfect, we love every aspect. It really feels like home. The cows are always a delight to interact with and the farm ambience is very peaceful. It’s always a pleasure to stay here. Will definitely be back.

This was the perfect place for our two families to spend a weekend in Charlottesville. The house was as described, well-stocked with linens and tableware, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Great location relative to UVA.

We spent a long weekend at David's home with our two pups and couldn't have enjoyed it more! The property is very private, you feel like you are on your own mountain, and is so peaceful and quiet. It was a rejuvenating trip and we would definitely love to come back in the future.

Everything about our stay was great! The owner communicated everything we needed to know, house was spotless, and the centralized location to all of the resort’s activities was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again.

This home is beautiful and just as described. the kitchen has everything you need plus some. A bathroom in every bedroom is wonderful. Mike was quick to respond to any messages and gave great instructions on how to find this gem of a home. Room for all our family to be together and space for pivavacy also. We had a great stay at Nikhil's family's Spacious Shenandoah home. There were so many special touches - the wood burning fireplaces, the French doors, location and connection to Nature. We had a great time visiting local towns, restaurants and shopping (inn at little Washington, early mountain winery, local hikes). We would love to come stay again.

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!
