Andrew was a great host, very responsive and even pre-stocked the kitchen with milk shortly before we arrived. His place was lovely and cosy, and just a short walk from the convention centre. Everything was completely spotless. The only potential issue I could find was that the single bed seemed relatively short compared to other beds I've slept in so that might be problem for some people. Having said that, I'm very short, so that didn't bother me at all. Overall, my friend and I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this airbnb listing.

I can not recommend this wonderful holiday home enough. I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere that has been as spotlessly clean. The house is beautifully and simply furnished, with everything you need for a few days away. The location was perfect and very quiet considering how closely located it is to the centre of York. Paul and Kerry were so helpful and responsive. Check in was really easy. 10/10 all round!

Our stay in Cambridge Terrace has been perfect. We wanted a car free break with our grown up children and Harrogate and Rachel’s house delivered on every front. Rachel’s house is spacious, homely and full of interest. It’s right in the middle of Harrogate so perfectly located for shops, restaurants and the station. Rachel was the perfect host - kind and accommodating. We would definitely come back again and definitely recommend to others.

Myself and my friends very much appreciated our stay at Dave’s place in York. The house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped so we were easily able to rustle up a chilli and rice. There was plenty of tea and coffee, kitchen roll, loo rolls the essentials for a Brit on her hols. We felt safe walking back from the city centre restaurants in the evening & the house was warm and cosy. We will definitely be meeting here again sometime in the future. Thanks Dave

Well equipped, spacious, clean and characterful property within walking distance of York city centre, but in a quiet neighbourhood away from other tourists! Very well appointed kitchen (with Aga) if you need to cook, comfortable lounge, beds and recently refurbished bathroom/toilet. Roger is a great host and happy to help when required. Excellent all round, the only downsides were the lack of salt and pepper and that parking right outside the house can be tricky. The walk into York is also very picturesque. Highly recommended overall.

Really nice place for 7 of us to get together for a reunion weekend. The house was comfortable with great decor and space to relax, plus room at the table for all of us. We found the heating a bit of a challenge and we were far too hot overnight (downstairs room, they struggled to adjust the radiator) but just turned it off completely on the second day. Lots of hot water and ample equipment, nice toiletries provided. It was inconvenient to have to meet beforehand to gain access, especially since there were roadworks nearby that caused a disproportionate delay to my arrival. Fortunately Beth's housekeeper was flexible around this, but, given that there is a key box, it seems an unnecessary complication. There was also a lot of "noise" before we arrived, in terms of instructions and rules for the property, none of which were onerous, just felt a bit unnecessary; but perhaps previous guests have been less than respectful in what is a lovely residential area.

We were here in March to visit my daughter who goes to Uni of York. The place was incredible!! Super spacious, clean, beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was ideal for a family and had everything we could have needed. The location is amazing. on the river, quiet, private, but still completely in town. Everything you would want to do is walking distance. I really wished I had found this place 3 years ago when she first started Uni. Highly recommend this place. The host has really made this a home away from home.

We had an excellent few days in monk bar court. The location is very central and close to Yorkminster. The Wheelwrights team were very helpful and responsive. Recommended.

Alweenas place is very homely and spacious. The location is so easy to get to the main street in Haworth and the station is even closer. We enjoyed every moment!

Great spot for our family of 4, close to great bakery and restaurants and quiet. Easy free parking a plus. The flat is adorable with a lot of nice touches:)

Great place. Good location and very quiet even though its right next to the main road. Right next to the bus stop and shop. Good space inside. Was very cold at first, but the Jeannette sorted it out 😊 Recommended!

10/10 I recommend !! Entertainment all around the house (multiple TV’s , pool table , Alexa , Art bords etc etc… But most important it’s very clean and cozy.

I think that booking this accommodation a second time certainly speaks for itself . Extremely easy access to the train station and all shopping amenities. Unbelievably peaceful and cosy . This house has been beautifully done up inside ...from delightful living room to fabulous beds and bedding to power shower in the bathroom. We didn't have many queries but the few we did have were answered in seconds .

We loved our stay at Sarah's place in York. It was very central, while still being in a calm area of the city right next to the city walls. Sarah gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and we particularly enjoyed our evening meal at skosh close by. The amenities in the flat were great, with comfy sofas and beds and a decent kitchen as well. There is also parking although we did not use this.

Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Quiet neighbourhood and no more than a 20 minute walk into central York. House had everything we needed, and was lovely and warm. Would recommend it as a great base from which to explore York, and somewhere to get a very decent night's sleep.

Our stay at the terrace was fantastic. It was exactly as described and exactly what we expected. It was the perfect weekend accommodation for the two of us to explore York and we have already recommended to our parents. A short stroll into town, and a cosy place to return to.

We absolutely loved the cottage, it was exactly as described. Loved the little extras for our dog and the essentials for us, i.e. tea, coffee, sugar milk, biscuits and jams 😊. The location was brilliant too, very close to every you need and lovely walks from the doorstep. Thank you 🙏

We (group of 7 ladies) stayed here for a group catch up. The house was perfectly located with a short walk to the train station, and a short walk into town. Brilliant living spaces, well presented, clean and tidy. Lots of good bars and restaurants within easy reach.

We stayed at the cottage for a couple of nights and had a great time! It was beautiful, so cosy and in a great location. Vanessa was very helpful when we contacted her. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay ☺️

We enjoyed our short stay very much. Ideally located for the Sculpture Park and the Hepworth Gallery. Easy walk into the city where we found excellent Turkish and Indian restaurants. The house had everything we needed and Kiran was very responsive when we had a couple of queries.

Wonderful host lovely place to stay. Michelle always replied quickly with any questions asked. Excellent location quiet surroundings plenty of parking. House was just what we wanted and a lovely gesture with bread eggs milk etc. Thank you very much wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again
