House was nice and clean. The master bedroom mattress was extremely comfortable! Woulld stay again.

I cant say enough good things a bout Teisha and Juan. They have always been a text or a phone call away. I am a fisherman and there place couldn't be in a better location. You are away from everything but close to everything. Close to the boat ramp and close to all amenities the City of Hartwell has to offer. If you are a bass tournament fisherman and your tournament is putting in at Gum Branch Mega Ramp. THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY.

The house was comfortable and quiet. The view of the lake was well worth the money particularly at dusk when the sun would sparkle across the rippling water. The kitchen was well-appointed but could have used some coffee filters or coffee supplies; however, the host had left bottled water in the fridge. The bathroom lavatory faucets needed attention. Overall, the home was as presented, the neighborhood was quiet, the location was convenient to town, and we had a great stay.

Chasing Shade was exactly as described. We’ve been going to Reed Creek for over 30 years, so it was fun to stay near the SC part of the lake. The house is close to everything. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s set far enough back and has a huge yard. We loved that it was dog friendly, so that we could travel with our labradoodle. The decks and dock have great views of the lake. Swimming and fishing right off the dock was perfect. We even caught some fish! The kitchen and house were well stocked with necessities and more. It was nice to have inflatables and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable. Overall - a solid 5 star property!

Beautiful spacious home in an exceptionally tranquil setting. The amenities available in the home exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend this home and would love to return there if ever in the area again.

By far one of the best airbnb we've stayed at. Janet and Craig were so nice and accommodating and went out their way to make sure we had a great stay. The airbnb was so beautiful and cozy just what we needed to relax. The home also had everything we needed and was so clean. The best part was the scenery and the boat dock. Nothing better then getting up and the boat already in the water at the dock so we can fish right away. Such a fun trip can't wait to come back.

Great little place. Perfect place to stay a few days while attending meeting. Great local restaurants within walking distance. Off street parking and security lights for peace of mind. Hope to return next time in town.

Beautiful location and great communication. We stayed for an extended period of time (6 weeks), and the host was gracious to work with us on what we needed when supplies ran out, etc. There is some issues that came up at the beginning with cleanliness of the home, but they sent cleaners back right away to tidy up for us. Some minor maintance issues too, but they again sent people as soon as possible (though the flooring really needs to be fixed-it’s dangerous for tripping-never got fixed in the 6 weeks we stayed). Since this location is mostly students, be aware that you might hear neighbors late into the night, but everyone we encountered was very nice! Overall great experience and fun location right next to Clemson and a nice walk to downtown! Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the Red Door Cottage! We spent our week with our pup hiking at the state parks and waterfalls that are within about an hour drive! In the evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and even caught a fish off the dock. The host was very kind and responsive. The house even had the kitchen items to cook a Thanksgiving meal! Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful place, would love to stay in the summer. Needs light at the side door when coming in at night. Hill in front somewhat difficult for older and disabled renter due to unevenness, nice sidewalk leading to paved parking would be great! I’m 77 and fit and I fell due to ground ups and downs. My disabled sister really had a hard time. I thought other comments I saw had to do with the hill going to the lake. All and all I still rate it 5+😁

Cozy, yet pleasantly open lake house set in lovely peaceful wooded surroundings the right distance away from all.

This was the second time we stayed at Mary's place and we could not have been happier with our experience once again. Home was clean, comfortable and was exatly what we needed for what were in the area for. Mary is always available if you need somethig and very comunicative. If there were a 10 star rating this stay would get it!!!

Bryan’s little cottage was perfect! It was clean and it has a lot of character. We were very comfy. The weather didn’t permit us to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but there would have been plenty to entertain us with a great view! Bryan was very responsive when we had questions. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage.

Our second time staying here. This property is exactly as described and more. It’s furnished wonderfully and exceptionally comfortable. This is exactly what an Airbnb should be. My wife and I come here when we need an escape. Host is very responsive and super helpful. We will absolutely be back again in the future.
