We had a great time at Connie's place, "U Found Dory". The house was very clean, the walk to the beach was very doable (even for my 6 and 9 year old grandchildren). The pool and hot tub were great. The neighborhood was quiet. We had a great time star gazing from the top deck and a small telescope was also on hand! The place was exactly as advertised and pictured. Easy to find and pretty convenient to a lot that the Outer Banks has to offer. My only advice for when you come is to bring some basic essentials and (like toilet paper, paper towels) as there were neither when we arrived. We also wished we would have brought our own towels as the ones at the house weren't great. But...take care of those minor issues and you are in for a real treat at "U Found Dory!"

True Rest & Relaxation with beautiful views! Mark and Paul have designed a beautiful home that is expertly decorated and thoughtfully supplied with all the essentials for a week at the beach. We love the beach off-season and we truly relaxed here as never before. The proximity to the beach is ideal and the upper decks made it easy to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets over the water on the ocean side and the sound side. We were cozy and warm with comfy places to hang out inside even when it was snowy outside. They even made the home perfect for our furry companion with baby/doggie gates perfectly placed and even a cute spot under the stairs. Thank you for great communication, an impeccably clean and updated home, and the most relaxing week we have had in a very long time.

Gorgeous, spacious, quiet home with sunset water views on the sound. The home is newly built and furnished with comfortable, quality furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here from sunrises at the beach just across the road to cooking fresh seafood from the local seafood shack to the evening sunset walks along the neighborhood boardwalk to the private overwater gazebo. Dawn was very responsive any time we had a question and very kind. She’s a wonderful host of an amazing property. Book it, you won’t regret it!

Place was just as advertised and fit our needs perfectly for a family of 4. Frank and Frans is a two minute walk so that was convenient since we were there to fish. There’s a restaurant right next door and everything in Avon is close to Food Lion. Family walked to the beach one night without me and made it back….so must be an easy trip lol! Overall….great place if your a family of 6 or less.

This home is beautiful. The layout provides privacy and lots of opportunities to spend time together as a family. There were many extras that made us feel so at home: tons of spices and a fully stocked kitchen, beach cart, chairs, etc. We loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning listening to the ocean. In the evening you can see the sunset over the sound of walk less than five minutes to a park and watch it hit the horizon. Sarah and Victor were quick to respond and clearly put together a space with guests in mind. Plus the most comfortable beds in any vacation property I've ever used!

Attention to detail in this property. Great location. Beautiful sound front property with wonderful outdoor amenities. My husband and I kayaked in the sound behind the house and met the oyster farmer that is close by. The local restaurants are great and we were able to ride our bike to them. The decor was very cute. Outside shower was convenient.

Turning Point has a very useable kitchen with all the dishes, pans, hand mixer etc. you need. We saw the bikes and chairs but didn't use, but did use the kayaks. Nice to have a mix of screened porch, open deck and dock. Tropical Storm Debby visited, but being on a canal meant we had no issues. Easy to get to Frisco beach or other beaches. Very homey, not a sterile rental. Walking the neighborhood and looking for Cora was enjoyable- chill Hatteras vibe. Appreciate the getaway!

Very private location on the sound with very large beautiful grounds with just a short walk to the beach. Lots of sound side amenities including kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, etc. We enjoyed the one story accommodations and really liked the design of the house. Kitchen was adequately stocked with nothing wanting that we needed. Be aware that there is traffic noise from the bridge, especially outside, but the setting feels very isolated.

Overall great place. Awesome homeowners. A few lights are out/ couldn’t find the light switch for it. However perfect place for a little getaway. Kayaking was so much fun.

Just enough lives up to it's name! It was very clean and checking in was super easy. The screened in porch was a favorite hangout while we were there. We would definitely stay here again!
