Gret location, convenient and close to Hamilton CBD and shopping facilities. Quiet road and beautifully appointed accommodation, would definitely stay again.

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful space, really loved that the place had all the things required to cook food. We had a long stay and it definitely felt like a home away from home. It's close proximity to the beach made for lovely runs in the morning. Already hoping to book again on my next trip back home with the family

We absolutely loved our stay at Sue and Chris's property. The house was not only beautifully decorated but also very comfortable. The amenities were well thought out, and everything we required was readily available. We would recommend it to anybody looking for an enjoyable getaway!

What a wonderful weekend my partner and I had at the couples retreat. Nicky was very responsive and gave very clear instructions which made check in a breeze. It was exactly as listed in the description and was great value for the place compared to other listings. The views from the balcony were absolutely beautiful, and the outdoor bath was very private and great for stargazing. The place was pristine and everything was very easy to find. Would 100% stay again, my partner and I loved every moment of our stay.

We recently stayed at Jenny’s house with extended family, overall we had a fantastic time. The house has unbeatable views, is well stocked with the basics, and the pool/hot tub were great. It is also a very quick drive to Hot Water beach and Hahei. Jenny was also very responsive and a wonderful host. We would certainly go back for another stay.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

The size of the house and facilities provided were very good for a 7 night stay for our family; my wife and I, our sons and partners and 2 young grandsons. Checkin was simple and we found a very clean house. Our bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The owners were very responsive to a couple of queries we had and even provided some additional facilities to assist us, thank you. The house appears to be a 1970-80s style and fit out, and had numerous useful living/ dining areas. Our family and especially our grandchildren loved the swimming pool, spa (which was always warm) and the sauna; the large pool table provided lots of fun and entertainment for the men of the family. There is a small but useful shopping block about 600m away at the start of the street where we purchased supplies, had a meal, and regular morning coffee and snacks, very useful. Lastly, there is a lovely long riverside walkway and parks within a couple of mins walk.

We had a wonderful time here, the villa is peaceful, comfortable and caters for every need. The inside and outdoor spaces are well equipped, spacious and relaxing. Sharlene is a great host who was very helpful and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here, it's a lovely haven close to the sea.

What a stunning house and location - the view was undeniable and dominated our experience - it was enough in this place just to look at the views !!! The house itself is beautiful, whimsical, well-appointed and evocative of every pleasure you might want on a vacation. Daytime is drenched in sunlight through the floor to ceiling windows. Evenings are intimate and warm, inviting conversation and laughter. The expansive decks and outdoor seating are perfect for relaxing, reading and eating outdoors. The hot tub was an added delight. It is a short but steep walk to the beach and village - takes about 5 pleasant minutes. This is one of those places you will never forget. We are really grateful to the hosts for providing this magical home.

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here. Laura was also super helpful and quick with communication and clear instructions. Definitely would love to go back for a longer stay and possibly even make use of the space for events. Incredible spot! Gorgeous accommodation! Super friendly & helpful host! We loved everything about this place. So peaceful & relaxing. Loved the outdoor bath! Incredible walks, cafes & everything you might need within 5 mins drive. Loved the homemade brownie & muesli - a magical & delicious touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful cabin! We two adults and two 12-year-old children had ample space here, and the stunning forest view added more credits to the stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We had a blast!

Wonderful little accomodation that is perfectly suitable for two people. Very clean, gorgeous location with a fantastic addition of a hot tub. Accomodation has everything that one could need all at a great price. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond which we are very grateful for. Despite no assigned parking, we had no trouble parking the car right outside the accomodation on the road— so don’t let the no parking deter you. Thank you again for hosting us!
