Scott was a great host and we couldn’t be more grateful! He thought of everything and was proactive in asking us the next day if there was anything we needed or if anything was amiss, which was greatly appreciated. The unit is comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The views of the ocean and the morning breeze from the lenai are definitely a highlight! We loved our stay and most definitely would recommend!

We really enjoyed our visit. The views were amazing and the location was ideal. Will definitely stay again in the future.

One of the best-supplied kitchens I've used. The bed was comfortable and I always appreciate find king sized bed.

The condo was as advertised-lots of beach things to use (chairs, umbrella, towels, sand toys), great kitchen with plenty of items for food prep, washer and dryer along with laundry pods available. Wi-fi worked very well to hook up multiple devices, and there were 2 televisions available as well. There was a pool, but it was across the street and did not always get full sun due to the surrounding buildings blocking the light. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

Spacious and well stocked Airbnb. Really nice touches with a few snacks and drinks provided and plenty of towels and kitchen amenities. The place is a bit dated but clean and the main bed was very comfortable. The pullout sofa in the living room is extremely uncomfortable if you’re planning to have anyone sleep there. I didn’t reach out to the host about it so maybe they could have provided a foam topper or something else for it. If you’re looking to have anyone sleep adults sleep out there I would check with the host to see if they can provide something to make it more comfortable since it was harder than a futon to sleep on. Overall good value for the price and convenient location.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Absolutely loved staying at Bailey’s place in Puako. It was so tranquil and gorgeous with the sound of the ocean at night and the amazing birds in the morning. The unit was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We were 3 people - our teenage son slept on the pull out couch in the living room - you do have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. This was fine for us. I loved the screen porch!! Bailey left so much info that helped us and was responsive to any request. We would happily come back here again.

Staying at Kona Magic Sands is just amazing! Abra’s unit is one of the best! Very clean and has everything we needed. We love have a unit with a lanai and this one did not disappoint. We love being able to just walk to the beach next door. Abra provided everything we needed to enjoy our time on the Big Island. I would definitely stay here again!

The home was well appointed. It was large, comfortable and the views were just amazing. Dvid was a great host and easily available for question. Overall a great stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay. It was like sleeping in a treehouse! Ocean views, beautiful sunrises, frogs singing at night, and so many stars. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful with local tips. It was a magical stay!

Minh’s place is a treasure! The location looking over the ocean is breathtaking. We had the best sleep in months with the doors open and hearing the waves. Whales swam by a few times and walking to the beach was good exercise. I plan to return.

***Excellent place*** my wife, two teenage daughters and I stayed here five nights while visiting family on the big island. Probably in my top five Airbnb‘s ever. Extremely comfortable beds, cold AC, perfect location, the lanai is amazing. Kitchen has everything you would need. Yes there is noise being on a busy street, which I was concerned about, being a light sleeper. But between a white noise maker app and earplugs, I slept amazingly well. We will be back!!🤙🏼

This is our second stay at the Magic Shack. We came back because our first stay was awesome. Our second stay was even better. There were updates to the unit (new screen doors), the addition of a new nice sofa bed, and chargers on each bedside table. The kitchen is well stocked and we were actually able to cook and have breakfast and dinners every night. The location is convenient, next to Alii drive. 10/10, would stay here again for our next Big Island vacation!

Megan’s house is absolutely breathtaking and has exceeded all expectations. We stay with airbnb a lot and this is one of the few times when the property was better than the pictures! Loved the well equipped kitchen and all of the cool art displayed throughout. The location is safe, peaceful and easy to get to places. Several great beaches within a walk or a very short drive. Our family absolutely loved it, and can’t wait to come back!

This place is exactly as pictured, if not better. It was easy to find, there were guests in the lower apartment that were very friendly and quiet, we barely knew they were there. We had a slight issue with the patio doors locking on us and Debbie their local rep came by within minutes to help us! (close them gently). The place was incredibly clean and cozy, the bed is comfortable and the chocolates, coffee and welcome Prosecco were very nice touches. We will miss waking up to the beautiful views and the sounds of the birds chirping. The rooftop deck was perfect for mid-day tanning and night-time star gazing (the stars were insane). 
We did visit the nearby black sand beach, it was pretty but personally a bit too much nudity for us (haha) but if that’s your jam then it's worth checking out. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and nice to walk around in. In the future, adding a small cool-off pool would be amazing to beat the heat. We would love to come back! Thanks Jenn and Kristian.

We stayed 4 days here with extended family in the smaller home on the same property and it was great. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of space for our family of 5 (larger group was 10 total) to spread out. The best part was the beach across the road with good snorkeling (stronger currents so be careful) and lagoon with turtles. Plenty of outdoor gear to borrow- SUP, kayaks, small boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel/fins. Would definitely stay here again.

...to plagiarize a comment I saw stated in another review: stop looking and book this place! This is the one! A+++ If you have found this option based on the criteria you think you need, there is likely no better place. The location is ideal. The view of the ocean & pool is incredible--the mesmerizing surf and scenery cannot be matched. A special note: This home provides three of the most comfortable beds that might exist within the Hawaiian Islands. Also--the front foyer is chock full of everything you need for beach fun... EVERYTHING...which was so helpful and reduced expense significantly. The efforts made by the host are very notable and appreciated. (I dig air conditioning--this place has it and it works wonderfully.) We hope to return to the Big Island and if we do this will be the first place we consider to stay again. This condo is close enough to anything and far enough away from everything--it will suit anyone...and really is a perfect vacation home. Mahalo!🤙😎

The attention to detail in this updated condo is apparent. It is appointed with guests in mind--USB charging stations, water play equipment, well stocked kitchen, cooler, containers and ice for picnics... The waterfront location was great even though this isn't an ocean-facing unit, it is in a location that other occupants aren't walking by the front door, which is nice. Although we didn't use the pool, it was a nice little feature and appeared very well-maintained. We used the AC both for cooling the bedroom and to blur the traffic noise from the busy street below. It did the trick for both!

Amazing place! Right on the ocean. A pro surf spot! Clean and comfortable, as described. Amazing poke place downstairs and a short drive to restaurants/cafes. The pool was a little chilly but clean and easily accessible. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the condo and the views were out of this world. The building was quiet, we never heard neighbors, and the building was upkept. We stayed for 8 days, frequently hauling loads of either groceries or "stuff" and were thankful that there was an elevator to assist in the frequent trips to the car. The car parking space is located beneath the building in the shade, which was very nice to not have to get into a hot car each day. The condo was very clean and there were lots of little extras provided. There were lots of options for borrowing snorkeling masks and goggles, swim fins and even a beach umbrella. We packed lunches every day and we were thankful for the cooler options allowing us to pack what we needed to keep cool. Listening to the waves at night outside the master bedroom was very peaceful. We would wake up early and watch the surfers out each morning in front of the condo. Very relaxing trip. Our host was very responsive to questions and we would go back!

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was great. It was well stocked with supplies for the beach, clean, well organized and in a perfect location. It is a nice, quiet complex close to everything but far enough away from downtown Kona that you still have peace. Multiple coffee shops, markets, and attractions close by. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed, beautiful place to stay in Kona.

This was our 2nd stay here and we have already booked a return trip! The condo is clean, comfortable and so well stocked for inside and outside play! This location is fantastic! Snorkeling across the street is a treat! Fish counts and varieties were plentiful, and we saw turtles and octopus!! This trip we discovered Magic’s Beach Grill 1 mile away, enjoyed the walk to dinner and a view of the waves and turtles with a very good dinner!

What a great find!!! Marco’s condo is everything as advertised & more! Beautiful view, quiet, clean, great new appliances. Location is easily walkable to all of Ali’i Drive. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning, watching the paddlers, parasailers, and surfers. Complex has a fantastic pool & hot tub that are immaculately maintained. We miss it already!

We had a nice stay at Hale Ho'omaha at the Kailua Bay resort. It was just like in the photos. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Washer and drier were convenient for towels and clothes after long days out in the sun. Nice amenities. Clean and comfortable bedroom and loft spaces. Just right for our family of 4. Close and walkable to downtown Kailua-Kona and also near to surrounding stores and malls. Is also conveniently located by car to the attractions, activities, and beaches on the Kona side. Janell and Dale were kind and responsive hosts. We were comfortable and happy there for our one-week vacation.
