My family and I enjoyed our stay at Nikki’s place! Her home has everything you can think of to enjoy your vacation in Kona!

Though the place is small it doesn't feel cramped, I suppose because of the creative use of space and art work. The bed is amazing, a sleep number with massage and remote adjustments. There are 2 well lit stairs to the bathroom. The shower is gorgeous. We loved the place. Bobby provided treats including apple bananas from their garden!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and quiet vacation home. My wife and I came and visited with another couple and had plenty of space. There would actually easily be enough space for a third couple to stay on an air mattress in the very large living room.   We were looking for a quiet stay on a remote part of the island that wouldn't just feel like any normal trip to the beach. Staying a this gorgeous home with spacious porches which was literally steps to a secluded beach was incredible. During the week we literally had the beach to ourselves and even on the weekends things were very quiet. It is an all stone-beach which was so nice to avoid the sand (however, you will definitely need shoes to walk on it!). There are also small reefs at this beach which were full of amazing fish. The home included plenty of snorkeling gear for everyone in our party as well as a kayak!   Other items the house included were an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, and several other helpful items like

Peaceful Hale exceeded expectations! We stayed for a week with friends, using it as a base for day trips. I wish we’d stayed here longer instead of 2 nights in Volcano (though Volcano Treehouse was unique!). The outdoor showers, spacious lanai, and serene surroundings were highlights. It’s near activities yet away from big resorts. Kalia was incredibly helpful, offering advice before and during our stay. Her beautiful garden was an added treat. Mahalo for an amazing experience! Travel Tips: - Arrive early for public parking at Mauna Kea Resort beach. I lucked out going at 4PM. There can be construction noise. - Happy Hour at Seafood Bar & Grill - Waimea: Weds/Sat farmers markets; GJ’s Huli Huli chicken on Sat/Sun by Kamuela Liquor; Sandwich Isle Bread Company; get reservations for lunch/dinner at Merriman’s, get provisions at Long’s. - Great snorkeling at Beach 69, Puako Bay, and Māhukona Beach Park - Food trucks with shave ice, coffee, and malasadas are at Rt. 19 and Puako Beach Dr.

Pictures do not give this place justice!! Beach front was the best amenity! Go two doors down and use the kayaks, paddle boards and tid pool! Jessica is a great host!

Very beautiful home. My family and I enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this home to anyone with a big family looking to rent a vacation home for their next trip to Hilo!

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

Susan’s home is simple yet comfortable. We were a party of 6, 2 couples and 2 individuals. There was plenty of space for us to gather and still have individual bedrooms and bathrooms. The views from the property were majestic!! The pool was pristine! I truly have to say we were VERY pleased!! If I were to comment about individual preferences (mine & our party’s) some of the beds/bedding were not as comfortable as others, the coffee pots were small, there isn’t a microwave or blender in the main home. We felt the kitchen was minimally equipped but has the necessities…We purchased floor fans which definitely helped to circulate the air and cool the house at night. We were also a little surprised that there were not any beach supplies for use. We purchased bag chairs and a cooler from Walmart and donated to a local friend on the island. That being said, there is no beach access but the view from the cliff is unbeatable! Would I stay again? ABSOLUTELY!!! MAHALO, Susan!!!
