We enjoyed staying at Alexa’s place! It was cutely decorated, clean, had a nice view of the ocean, and had everything we needed. Her instructions were clear and she gave helpful recommendations of favorite things to do and places to visit prior to us arriving. There were also resources (maps and a book) we could reference for more information and planning. She was also responsive and helpful when we needed help with parking. Loved how close we were to the beach, restaurants and shops, and the Kona Farmers market. All in all a very cute and comfortable place to return home to from visiting all parts of the island. Would highly recommend!

The resort grounds, amenities, and view were incredible especially given the price point. It is in the northern part of Kihei which requires a bit (~5 minutes) of driving south to get to some kid friendly beaches, but it gave the place a peacefulness since it was away from the busy heart of Kihei. We stayed with our small children and they loved the pool and the beach for building and playing in the sand. The pull out couch is the only thing I would mention. It was perfect for kids - they don't care what the bed feels like, but I wouldn't book the place if you are putting older kids/adults on the pull out Overall, we had such a great time and appreciate how responsive John was throughout the process. Thank you for sharing this condo with us!

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. We love staying in Ka’paa, it’s just become more and more challenging to find a place that suits us, we’re not resort people. Margaret’s place was perfect, we loved having a full kitchen, used the bikes regularly, the outdoor seating area was so nice to relax and watch the cows, chickens, and cats. Matt was around the property and easy to find if we needed to chat. We didn’t use laundry, but it’s a great benefit if we were staying longer. Margaret has really thought of everything, super communicative leading up to our stay and during; anticipating any needs we may have. We look forward to staying with her again!

Perfect, perfect perfect. As described in the pictures, this unit was amazing clean well kept enough from me. My husband and my two kids. Great way to celebrate My Son‘s 12th birthday. Only issue I did not like the elevators, but that’s nothing they can do about it. Other than that. It was absolutely amazing. I would say if you are having food delivered to you please make sure you are 100% on top of it because we’ve gotten a lot of groceries and things stolen just because it’s Hawaii and that’s what happens. I would definitely recommend if anyone’s looking to rent this unit on vacation I would advise you to please do so because this is an absolutely great stay and I say this because I am a very, very very picky person especially when it comes to having my kids to stay somewhere for a week so if I say it, it is absolutely a great spot would absolutely Big deck to have family dinners and to wake up and have your morning coffee and also he provides umbrellas and chairs for the beach

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

Our stay in Anna’s condo was all we hoped for on Oahu. From enjoying our breakfast on the balcony each morning to watching the fireworks on Friday night, the ocean views were the perfect backdrop. Amenities in the condo included hairdryers, beach chairs, small kitchen appliances (toaster, blender) and inflatable mattress for extra bedding space.

Very convenient and comfortable, well-appointed. The condo is on the shady side of the complex, which might be an important advantage in the summer months; it was not an issue now, although it was hard to find a sunny space to dry shoes. The general aspect was very pleasant, with very easy access to the beach, which is gently sloped and has calm waves. Easy highway access to drive to other places. The ceiling fans keep the rooms feeling cool; we were always comfortable. The (patio? lanai?) outside the living room was an extremely pleasant place to sit. The instructions warned about ants, but we saw none. Possibly the season, or the fact that we didn't cook much. The one thing I could have wished for was some specification in the description about the hardness of the mattresses. Preferences on this vary; we prefer very firm mattresses and these were somewhat soft, which caused problems for my wife's back.

The common areas and master suite were very spacious. Huge comfortable couch. The porch was beautiful and relaxing. Within walking distance to Magic Sands Beach, although possibly closer to 10 minutes depending on your pace. Checkout instructions were a breeze. Very comfortable for our 5 guests, everyone had a bed. Perfect distance from center of Kona but felt out of the way and very peaceful. I would absolutely book here again if I ever return!

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

The house was gorgeous, it matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. At night it was very peaceful and just the most beautiful views every morning. My wife and I loved that it was so close to the best snorkeling that we've ever done and if you didn't want to do the hike to get to it there's plenty of rentable kayaks nearby. We also managed to see a mama humpback whale and her calf in the bay while we were relaxing on the lanai. Last thing I'll say is that the house was close to alot of local food places that all are highly recommended. When I plan my next trip to the Big Island I will definitely be looking to stay at this house again.

Megan’s house is absolutely breathtaking and has exceeded all expectations. We stay with airbnb a lot and this is one of the few times when the property was better than the pictures! Loved the well equipped kitchen and all of the cool art displayed throughout. The location is safe, peaceful and easy to get to places. Several great beaches within a walk or a very short drive. Our family absolutely loved it, and can’t wait to come back!

We have had the most amazing stay in Hanalei - Rainbow House is everything we were hoping for and more. Surfing with Micco was the icing on the cake. We will be back to Hanalei soon and we plan on booking here again. From the quiet location to the convenience of being able to walk everywhere, we have been happy as clams on our family vacation! 8 thumbs up from a family of four.

"As Described" sounds like faint praise, but with rentals it's super important. this place delivered on everything advertised. Very spacious. The primary bedroom was set apart from the other two and had its own bathroom. We didn't use the exterior but it looked super cute with two sitting areas, front and back. AC was great. Kitchen was spacious too, which helped a lot. the nearby Coconut Market has really developed into something worth spending time in. Two close beaches, one small and private and one large with gentle shallows. The primary bed was super cushy. Tropical bugs can be an issue anywhere in Hawaii but they were well under control here, which was nice. We've been to the islands six times and likes this place a lot. Absolutely, definitely would stay again... and probably will.

Coconut Cottage was absolutely wonderful! A perfect, little hidden gem! The location could not have been better for our teen son and his friends. The cottage was exactly as described and offered everything we needed for our stay. We suffered a family emergency while there, and Susan was so understanding in assisting with our immediate needs. I am so sad that we had to cut our vacation short, but we cannot wait to return!

Dani and her family were so welcoming and helpful. This place had everything we needed, and Dani and her daughter went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed plus more! Thanks for a great stay!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Place was so clean, convenient location in the building and easy in and out access to explore the surrounding areas. We felt right at home. Loved the balcony views. Washer and dryer are big and nice, perfect for us between stops on different islands. Kelly was super nice, communicative and responsive! Would absolutely come back.

Beautiful condo, very close to an amazing beach. Good amenities. The property management was quick to reach out and deal with anything. We had a lovely visitor we named frank the ghecko every morning while we ate our breakfast.

What an amazing stay!! we had such a lovely time staying at Holly's apartment, the view was incredible and the apartment itself was well appointed, with absolutely everything we could need and more! super comfy beds, lots of beach equipment for us to use, laundry facilities. Absolutely everything was provided, including a little bowl of local coffee which was so lovely and some amazing handmade soap in the bathroom. couldn't fault our stay it was incredible!! the only thing I would say is if you are a light sleeper, like me, take some earplugs as the ocean is loud!! but it's so worth it as I woke up to the most incredible views!! sun sets on the balcony were also a highlight!! thank you for an amazing time Holly, we absolutely loved it :)

We had a great stay at Magic sands hosted by Sam and Connie! It is close enough to shops and restaurants but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It had all the amenities listed and was clean. The beach next door was nice but on the smaller side at least when we were there late Feb/early March. It can get a little noisy with traffic and people walking by the unit as the door and window in the bathroom are louvered because there is no AC, but it was not excessive. Overall we had a great stay!

We loved our stay here! Fabulous view of Kam 3 and the beautiful landscape, homey feeling condo with everything we needed, and very quiet surroundings. We had our 8 month old and eight year old kids and were pleasantly surprised with variety of kids stuff to use in the closet - lots of beach toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, high chair, pack and play, and baby bath. The condo was clean and Kris provided very clear instructions for all parts of our stay. We look forward to booking again in the future!

This place is a great find as it is close to the beach and restaurants. The only thing was interacting with the security to get a parking pass. He was an older man who acted very unprofessionally towards me as I was asking for a parking pass. He would give unnecessary comments like: "Put this pass in your car. We live in America, so the driver's side will be on your left." Luckily, I don't get offended easily, but this is just a heads up. Juliana and the location is great though! So the rating is still high and the security does not effect this rating.

We had a great stay! Clean and in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Responsive and friendly host!
