We were on a family trip to the volcano park. Ari’s property has everything we needed to make this trip an enjoyable experience. The convenient location is such a plus because it only takes 10 minutes of drive from the entrance of the volcano park to the house, and you definitely don’t want to drive too far after a whole day of hiking. Also, it’s very quiet and safe in this neighborhood, ensuring us a good sleep every night. We look forward to coming back to Sri’s house next time visiting the area again!

A Nice cozy place with good views

This place is an oasis in an ideal location. It’s walkable to so many wonderful things in Kihei, but also just a quick drive to so many other great areas of Maui to hike, explore, and beach. I spent my days full - hiking, adventuring, and doing water/beach activities and couldn’t imagine a more peaceful haven to come back to at the end of the day! Jenni is an exceptional host 🌺🩵

We had a great stay ! Kimberly’s place is worth your time. It was very clean and I really enjoyed how she had high quality furniture / products. Definitely would book with her again !

Everything about our stay was better than expected. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived quite a bit later than expected, but Todd met us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the cabin. It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furnishings, and we loved eating breakfast outside on the back porch, watching the pheasants in the grass. Todd and Olivia made a special point of letting us know when the volcano began erupting, so we didn't miss it. It was amazing to get to see that in person.

We were within 10-15min of Volcano National Park and as a result we were able to catch the eruption of Kīlauea the first night we checked in, and then one last time on the morning we checked out! Also, my husband and I felt right at home, were very appreciative of the comfort that the space provided, and how responsive Brenda was! Also, the hot tub was broken and Brenda had an inflatable hot tub in place of that till the new one could be installed. That was awesome! My husband and I used it multiple times and were very appreciative of it being there. Also, having a spot to be able to do my work - dining room table or desk space - was great as I unfortunately had to take my work with me. Brenda is a great host and very responsive to messages.

The perfect spot to start off my now husband and Is wedding/honeymoon week. The spot is absolutely perfect and the view waking up was unbelievable. When a local hair/makeup artist came out to do my bridal look she said it was the best airbnb view she’s ever seen in the area. David was super responsive and helpful if anything was ever needed and we happen to run into David and Dawn a couple times and they were both just lovely people. Thank for sharing your spot!

BY FAR the best place to stay in Maui. all the little touches of this quinticential little Hawaiian country cottage was just perfect. right down to the caraf of milk in the fridge.

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Had a great time in this private and peaceful accommodation. Ashley was very friendly and responsive and provided us with privacy and easy communication. This place provides a unique and relaxing glamping style stay. It rained very hard the first night and sounded beautiful as it’s an open air room but still felt very secure and everything stayed dry. After the rain the coqui were plentiful so it may not be for everyone but I found it to be soothing and peaceful. My only recommendation is maybe to hang a mirror in the shower room or in the kitchen/bathroom area. Mahalo for a great stay!

Definitely a great place in Wailuku close to everything and lots of great restaurants and cafes close by. Rooms were perfect with AC if needed, layout is good and instructions to getting inside was easy. Will stay here again when coming to visit Maui!

Nice little unit hidden away from the street, it is gated so you are sharing a nice and yard with two other units. The place is true to the picture and well maintained, we enjoyed our stay. One thing though frogs are a bit loud at night especially from the main bedroom. Nothing the owner can do about it as it what nature offers, but if you are a light sleeper or not used to it maybe bring an earplug.

Kelly’s place was perfect. Quiet, private and lots of covered outdoor spaces with lots of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed. She even had a nice notebook filled with things to know and do around the area. We enjoyed our daily walks to the ocean and met lots of people enjoying the area. I would recommend Kelly’s place for anyone who wants to enjoy all that the East side of the Big Island has to offer.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

This was one of many stays I have had with jade at the MLT. it’s a great place to unwind and recenter. Always such a great time over on kalapana side and the temple is a great place to enjoy that side of the island. My friend forgot her jacket with her credit card and ID in it and Jade was very helpful and responsive. Very easy to get the jacket back with everything still in it!

This place is incredible. Pietra and Joe created a magical kingdom in the jungle, full of wonder, civilized yet wild, fun, artistic and functional. The cottage was impeccably clean, well appointed, comfortable and spacious- it has just enough of what you could need. Their informational notebook was thorough with fabulous recommendations. The cat, dog and chickens were a bonus. I greatly appreciate being off the grid and in a quiet (other than the sounds of nature), remote, open air yet screened in, wild place while feeling cozy, with all the kitchen amenities, and able to go for walks from my door. This place was perfect.

Me and my daughter had a wonderful time at Connie’s cottage!! There was beautiful nature and a very big tropical garden. Many different kind of plants, trees and flowers. The cottage inside is very spacious for two people with many needed supplies . Thank you, Connie, you are a great host! We hope we will come back next year🙂

We travel a lot and this is one of the best rentals we have ever been to. Spacious, clean, very private, huge garden. Fruits were provided, walking distance to the beach. Highly recommended, it does not get better than this!

We stayed at Sheryll’s place for 6 nights. Our stay was very nice. Her home is comfy and perfect for a couple. There was coffee for us to enjoy every morning. She gifted two Hawaii mugs to us, so thoughtful. The neighborhood was nice as well. Market only a couple blocks away. Totally walkable. We enjoyed chatting with her and her husband Roger. Molokai is a marvel—so unspoiled and beautiful. Spent several mornings out on the water off the south coast which was phenomenal and walking a 3-mile stretch of white sand on the west end with no other people is amazing. The Hula Bean cafe in town was a surprise and don’t miss the Friday night happy hour at Hiro’s. Gordon and Julia’s cottage is spacious and comfortable, and feels a bit exclusive.

This was the perfect getaway for a peaceful first visit to Maui. Margit was so responsive and easily accessible to us before and during our stay! The cottage was exquisitely clean upon arrival. We were surprised by the amount of amenities included, and having a cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas made a big difference in the quality of our beach days. The cottage was located quite aways from many tourist locations so we drove more than we expected to but would definitely stay here again as it offered a calm atmosphere and truly felt like a tropical paradise.

I live nearby and when I have family or friends coming to stay, this is my top choice for them. It has the feeling of being in a jungle, and each person has their own bungalow that is very nicely appointed with a kitchenette, nice bathroom and cute decor. It is also walkable to Kalani for morning coffee or snacks and anything happening at the Kalani Retreat center like ecstatic dance, yoga, etc. You definitely want to have a car while staying here as the beaches and things along the Red Road are best accessed by car. It's a very peaceful place it has a dramatic long entry that feels like you're going deep into the jungle. Bery fun for new visitors! And the host does a fabulous job of maintaining the units and communicating details.

We had a great stay at Alexandra’s. The apartment is very cute and clean, and it’s in a great location to enjoy Kihei. Just a few minutes driving from all the restaurants and beaches. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet and we woke up every morning with the sounds of birds singing.
