This place was AMAZING! It had everything we could have needed and more. The house was perfect and beautifully styled. The beds were super comfortable and everything about the house and stay was great. Definitely recommend this stay to anyone who wants a great get away. This was our second visit to He's place because we found it to be such a lovely, comfortable & convenient place to stay the first-time round. He's place is very well supplied. You get your own entrance to the large upstairs apartment above the main house. Sometimes muffled sound travelled but we didn't find it a problem. My husband particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the early evening, relaxing and taking in the view.

A beautiful spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house was incredibly cozy and spotless, with everything we needed to unwind. We loved being immersed in nature while still enjoying all the comforts of home, including an amazing view overlooking the Hawkesbury River.

Lulu and Greg have to be my favourite hosts so far. Saw Greg on the way in and he offered me a speaker so we could listen to music next to the pool.

Amazing stay for a girls weekend away! Plenty of communal space, well stocked kitchen supplies, fabulous architecture/decor and stunning gardens. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

From outdoor adventures to cozy indoor entertainment, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was the ideal spot for family fun, creating wonderful memories together. If you’re looking for a clean, spacious, and activity-packed getaway, Macdonald Lodge is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to visit again!

This is exactly what we needed to recharge, relax and reflect. Such serene place, so far removed from the busy world. The communication was great, facilities are great and we had everything we needed. Spending time on the pontoon was special enjoying the bird watching and listening the nature. Will be back for sure.

The house was great - beautiful location! We had a few small issues, but Sandy was responsive and it sounds like they should be sorted for the next guests. There were no problems with cleanliness, we were just missing a couple of bits of cutlery etc. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it!
