We've stayed at 10 different airbnb's this year and this place was by far the best! From the spacious secluded backyard to the extra amenities throughout the home. We loved spending the holidays here. Their family decorated the place for Christmas to make it feel like a loving home. We come to Austin several times each year and look forward to coming back!

Our stay at “Birdie’s Poolhouse” was magical. We have two young kids, and the pool and hot tub area are perfect for children and adults alike. There is a shallow entry to the pool, and umbrellas to shade parts of the pool and sitting area. We have family in the area, and Blair was welcoming to them as well, so we were able to have a family get together that was fun for all. The house was also comfortable, tasteful, pristine and had everything we needed and more. Thoughtful touches were small ice creams left in the freezer, extra supplies in the bathroom, and pool towels and extra blankets in plentiful supply as well. The beds were really comfortable, and we weren’t disturbed by any noises. Even though the pool is shared between the owner’s house and the guest house, we had free use of the pool, and it felt quite private while we were staying there. Best of all, communications with Blair were always pleasant and prompt. She went out of her way to be welcoming and accommodating!

Beautiful home nestled in the heart of the hill country/canyon lake area. You’re 15 minutes from everything and anything you’d want to do on a relaxing vacay or stay-cation.

Howard was a great host. He was responsive and went out of his way to drop off an iron when we didn’t find one in the house. The house was well located and had a large pool with a spacious outdoor patio. Would recommend.

It's a great apartment in a great location.

We did enjoy our stay in this corner unit very much. There are great views all around. However, it is over a major highway that is incredibly busy, both day and night. We do suggest noise machines for the next guest to minimize traffic sounds at night. Although there is one balcony chair and an odd table, we wished there were 2 chairs. We carried a dining chair outside to enjoy the river view but the balcony is such a fine place to sit and relax, small matching chairs could maximize the limited space. It was an added plus that the balcony overlooks the famous bat bridge and it was fascinating to see the bats emerge in the evenings in search of food. The pool was lovely, people were helpful and friendly, and it was a great value.

Great stay, right on Rainey with easy access to restaurants, the water, and getting in and out of town. The condo is as described, well put together, comfortable, and stylish. We will be booking again if we have future trips to Austin!

Great place to stay in an area that is not as popular as it will be. The area is walkable for restaurants and bars. At the same time, there are also a wide array of options for exercise and outdoor fun. And Himesh provides all the information you’ll need and more. Super friendly communication and accurate instructions for check-in and check-out. We’ll be back!

We really Enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect. A few mins from downtown, options for food, nothing was more than 15 mins away tops. Place was clean, kitchen was great and perfect for what we were looking for to be comfortable in Austin for a few days

This spot was beautiful!! Even down to the valet employees, they were so kind and wonderful! It was an amazing experience right in walking distance from Rainey street and a lot of other shopping and food spots, would 100% stay again

We stayed here for the SXSW conference and we loved it. The location is great and only 15 minutes walk to the SXSW venues, and it felt like home. The price was also reasonable compared to the hotels in this area and we will definitely come back in our next trip :)

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and in a peaceful, private country setting….perfect for a relaxing getaway. My kids had an absolute blast, especially with the pool and hot tub, which quickly became their favorite spot. The tranquil surroundings added to the overall experience, and we felt completely at ease during our time there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly retreat!

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for spring break with our kids. Parents enjoyed relaxing and looking out the big windows while kids played in the pool and with a big tub of legos provided with other kids toys in one of the closets. I ad one question during our stay and it was immediately responded to. Would 100% stay again with our family.

Phillip was a superb host. He was prompt and communicative. He made us feel right at home with the welcome snacks, sunscreen, and supplies. He even graciously accommodated both an early check in and a late checkout! The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of space in and outside of the house for our group of 12. Phillip’s place is in a quiet neighborhood where we enjoyed lounging by the refreshing pool listening to the chirping birds. It was also a short distance from many Austin activities - bbq, tacos, coffee, shopping, Rainey Street bars and more. We would highly recommend this house and this host for any group looking for a place to stay. Thank you again, Phillip!
