Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mr. Brett’s Airbnb! The place was absolutely stunning – peaceful, idyllic, and full of character. Every corner of the home felt special and unique, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Mr. Brett himself was an amazing host. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, while also giving us the privacy to truly unwind and enjoy the space. His warm hospitality really made the experience that much more special. We are already planning our next visit and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a host who truly cares!

Absolutely beautiful place can’t wait to come back and stay again

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

The cottage was very relaxing, private and romantic. We loved the spa bath and the space as a whole. Was walking distance to the shops and restaurants which we enjoyed. Will definitely be back to check out their other cottages as well.

I can fully recommend Penny & the Cottages! We came back after a year and it was an amazing stay. Penny is very responsive and helpful!

We all loved our stay at the cottage. It was extremely beautiful and clean inside. The expansive gardens were also such a nice place to relax and wander about. We were all very comfortable in the cottage and truly felt like a home away from home. Stacey was also a very responsive host and was more than accommodating with a last minute request from us which made our stay beyond perfect!!

We loved our stay at Shaun’s in Seville! We chose Seville because it was close to all the places we wanted to go in the Yarra Valley, but a bit quieter. Shaun gave us some great local winery recommendations (loved Seville Hill!). The wood fireplace was a lovely touch. We had a great off the grid weekend. Will definitely stay at Shaun’s again when we’re looking for a weekend escape. Thank you!!

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

I loved stating in this beautiful cottage at Tara Rise surrounded by he serene gardens resembling a Botanical garden with so many fruit trees and varieties of plants. If you're lucky, as I was to enjoy the delicious grapefruit and oranges from he garden. The cottage had everything I needed including a wonderful fireplace. My stay was very relaxing and rejuvenating, thank you Siobhan

I stayed for 5 days with my two kids aged 5 and 4. Can’t recommend this place strongly enough. Between the surrounding beauty of the area and the tranquility of the house, we had an amazing week. Kids loved all the play equipment outside and there was loads of space for them to ride their bikes also. Would love to come back in winter to light the fire and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere again.

The Shack was delightful. Had all necessary home items. Compostable toilet worked well, no bad smells at all. Was weird not having to flush... Large enclosed back yard for pets, which was great. Close to town, Redwood Forest, La la falls & other sights. Very peaceful & relaxing.

I reached out to Jacqui as a film student of SAE searching for a location to film my final project for my degree. Jacqui was incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming to myself and the crew. Allowing us to film on the property, and helping if we ever needed something. Beyond this the property was picturesque and serene. I myself stayed there for the entire duration outside of filming hours, and found the place very peaceful. Overall it was an amazing experience with a beautiful place to stay and an incredibly kind. generous host. I would recommend this property to anyone I know.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is beautiful with so much care and detail. The porch was a major highlight - we could have spent days just enjoying the view and the birds flying around. We enjoyed walking to town to enjoy the shops and riverfront - I would just warn anyone with difficulty walking that it does involve a big hill to get to/from town. Since it was hot out we did not take advantage of the sauna, but would love to return some day during cooler months to enjoy it!

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. The house was warm and inviting, was on a quiet road and close to lots of great spots to eat out. This phenomenal cottage was one of if not THE best cottage stay I’ve ever had in my many years on Airbnb. Staying here felt like such a wonderful dream with all of the small details and private outdoor space to lounge around in. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway stay look no further, this is the one! Pete was also just the best host ever and made us feel right at home. Again just cannot recommend this place enough, 11/10 stay!

The whispering trees bungalow was nice, quiet, relaxing, peaceful very clean and tidy and private .Not to far from Main Street and Woolworths, restaurants, laundry matt and necessities. Willeke was very responsive with replies and to let you know how to access the property and what to do very clear instructions. Deffinately would stay again 😀

We stayed for a week at Fermoy Cottage. It was much more spacious than we expected. A very comfortable open plan lounge, well equipped kitchen, very pleasant patio. Good shower, comfy bed, quiet neighborhood. Healesville is a great base for exploring the Yarra Valley, and has some nice shopping and meal options.

This air bnb was perfect for our stay in king lake ! the house has been decorated beautifully and very clean ! kitchen is stocked up with everything you need , the bed was so comfy and all the linen fresh and clean! can not fault it at all and by far one of the best air BnBs we have stayed in ! the deck looks out onto the paddock with livestock and enjoyed watching all the animals. Their dogs were so friendly and loved a good pat. It is next door to their house and is still so private and not looked in on at all which was great ! Communication with Helen was great and very responsive and informative !

Terrific little cottage, in an exceptional location. We stayed here for two nights, had one night out and one night in, beautiful and cosy! Would stay here again.
