Had a magical two night stay at Lorcan's lakeland lodge. Nestled down at the edge of Lough Melvin with a stunning backdrop of the mountains it's something special. The lodge was spotless and had everything you'd need for a stay away.. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little place to stay, clean, warm and cosy. We did struggle at first to find the place from the road as the sign is quite small but we managed in the end. We had some issues getting the log burner going for the hot tub but Julia was helpful and responsive with this. The bed was very comfy and the upstairs space is cosy. The shower wasn’t warm the next morning but we were only there one night so this was okay. Overall it was a lovely little stay

We had a lovely stay at Robins Cabin! A total reset! Surrounded my fields and looking out on the Lough from the HotTub… bliss!

Troy is an amazing host! Nothing was too much trouble. We actually stayed during the storm and had to leave early and he gave us a hugely discounted rate to come back which he was under no obligation to do. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous. Totally secluded, right on the river, completely spotlessly clean and just a gorgeous get away! Highly recommend to couples for a romantic and quiet night away. Thanks again Troy!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, comfortable, and felt like home. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location and amenities exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy stay!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin with our dog Darcy! The cabin was super cosy and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend away! We especially loved the log burner and hot tub! The weather was a bit wet during our stay but there is a canopy over the hot tub and it was lovely and warm so was perfect and was a real highlight of our stay. The surrounding area was also great, the cabin was right next to loch awe which we enjoyed some lovely walks with the dog! We had such a great stay and will defiantly be back!

If you’re having any doubts about booking this place, this is your sign to go ahead and book it NOW!!! We cannot say enough good things about this little cabin. It is a beautiful little place surrounded by exquisite nature. The lodgings themselves are comfortable, clean, and super cozy with everything you need. The hot tub is incredible and soooo relaxing after a day of exploring. We were able to enjoy such a beautiful night sky from the hot tub! We also loved feeding the animals and watching them interact. They’re so sweet and well taken care of. Laura went above and beyond as a host. She gifted us a bottle of Prosecco as we are celebrating milestones during this trip. She made sure the hot tub was always nice and warm for us in the evening. She even gifted us some eggs from her hens as well. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone. We really hope to be back someday. Don’t hesitate, book this place!!!

My partner and I stayed at Penny’s place for a long weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anywhere more perfect. The location is so peaceful and really allows you to re-centre. The Shepherd’s hut and the barns are so cosy and have everything you could possibly need for a more “off the grid” feel. We loved spending evenings in the barn - playing darts before the sunset and bird spotting with the binoculars Penny provides, then later sitting in candlelight and taking in the night sky. Make sure to listen out for the Tawny Owl who is very vocal! Penny is so friendly and is more than willing to give you walk recommendations or anything else you might need help with. She’s also left us some of the nicest carrot cake we both ever had. Thank you, Penny. We will definitely be returning!

My sister, my almost 3 year old and I stayed for one night to spend some time together. My little boy loved it, he spent much of his time looking out of the windows into the trees. The pines is well located, very private without being too isolated. We went for a walk on the Heswall Dale which is next door, and had lovely views. We had Sunday dinner in a pub 5 min drive away which did lovely food (fox and hounds). We made use of the fire pit and had a lovely evening sat outside. The place is clean and tidy, and we had a fab time. Would recommend to others.

Three letters….. WOW…… Samantha & euan were the most pleasant hosts and very helpful. The grounds itself was very idyllic…we took our dog so there was plenty space for him to run around and we enjoyed lovely walks around the place. The view was incredible, waking up every morning with the lake right infront of you was just amazing. There was swans & geese on the grounds too which was a delight to watch each day. The lodge itself was very clean and beautiful inside, everything was at high spec and you could see the personal touches in each room. I loved all the pictures, they represented the grounds which I thought was lovely. We had a beautiful fire to enjoy at night and we also managed to heat the Swedish bath tub with no trouble. I’ve always been to places with hot tubs but now I’m converted. The water was fresh and straight from the tap (no chemicals needed) and the water stayed hot for ages. We enjoyed this at a lot. We will be absolutely be back. Definately worth a visit. 🌼

What can I say about Chris’ s Cabin… the perfect little spot on the prairie, although not the prairie but a lovely private part of her own garden. Tall hedges all around, private parking just outside the gate. Great sized patio area with plenty of garden furniture for those sunnier days. On entering it was just as described, spotless and clean and after the wall heaters had been on a while it was lovely and cosy. Given the outside temperature was around -3 in the wind. March at its best! Lit the log fire and we nearly had to strip down to shorts and t shirts, warms the whole cabin very quickly. Two great comfy sofas and rugs, the kitchenette is ideal for breakfasts and snacks for tea time if you don’t eat out. Comfy bed and hot shower! Being in Haggerston, you’re right in the middle of Berwick, Holy Island, Alnwick. Great Beach’s Chris and her communication was brilliant. Would love to go again, faultless!

I always enjoy Moffat. Gareth's lodge is an easy to find excellent location. It has everything you need for a quiet relaxing break. A short drive into the village and all you need is there. Including a large Co-op. There are also plenty of walks. I highly recommend Gareth's place and will consider returning in future...

We had a lovely 2 day stay at Margaret’s b and b cabin. It was peaceful and a delightful cosy space. We were given wonderful extras on our arrival with a nightcap and chocolates and breakfast for both mornings. Both Margaret and her husband were friendly and communicated very promptly and we had everything we needed Highly recommended Thanks so much for having us

I just want to say first of all…WOW….I seen the pics before our stay but it doesn’t do this cabin justice, it’s the most beautiful place and surroundings in Scotland I have visited so far, and we travel a lot, it’s rural and with good reason, full on nature and forestry, I’ve never seen anything like it. The cabin in itself was spotless, beds we’re comfortable and fresh, the heating system was lovely and kept us cosy, also the inside fireplace was amazing. The signal is perfect, which I was worried about but contacting the owner beforehand I was told this cabin now has wifi and it worked perfect, tv channels were also perfect, miss this beautiful place already and the burn just made it so much more peaceful, can’t wait to return, an absolute must visit for anyone who loves nature and peace and quiet.

The hosts were super lovely, helpful and responsive and the cabin was stunning and peaceful - absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend away with a loved one! We will absolutely be coming back here!

I have just got home from my stay and I wish I was still there! Caroline was extremely welcoming, friendly and gave helpful recommendations of things to do in the area. The cabin was absolutely AMAZING! It was spotless, cosy, had everything I needed and more and the location was perfect - so peaceful, with beautiful views. Being able to watch the wildlife, especially the red squirrels was incredible. I honestly don’t think the photos do this place justice, it truly exceeded my expectations and I would say it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed in the UK! I can’t wait to come back!

Had the best two night stay here, so clean and peaceful, a nice touch with sauna for only £20 it’s a great price for what you get. Everyone’s so lovely and helpful! Will be returning

We stayed at Jackie's beautiful cabin for 3 nights and honestly had the most wonderful time here. This place is exactly what we were wanting and was incredibly peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Could not recommend this place enough! Thank you very much!

Priceless stunning view! Perfect location in between Fort William and Glencoe (20mins drive to either). Nice and quiet area, perfect for a retreat/ getaway trip!

Set in an amazing location just off the main road, although we couldn't hear the noise of the traffic at all. Very picturesque surroundings and perfect spot for watching the sun rise while relaxing in the hot tub. Spacious cabin and very well furnished. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. We had 2 pizzas delivered which were 10/10.

Took our parents here for Christmas and it was perfect. The cabin is spotless, excellent quality bedding and dishes. Really were able to make ourselves home. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, Christmas dinner was a complete success. Our hosts were really lovely and despite having an issue with the electricity, Jeremy made it his priority and had it sorted out in no time with minimal disruption to us. The site itself is a little run down but they are in the process of updating it. Twin room was a little smaller than it looked in the photographs but everything else was exacts you see it. I would definitely recommend this location for walkers.
