We have just arrived home after Staying in fergals beautiful holiday home 21st/28th Dec The house was spotless clean and there was a Christmas tree and decorations all around, a huge bottle of prosecco and some gorgeous biscuits It's such a warm, comfortable house, very peaceful and in a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful too. There is an amazing kitchen with every utensil you could ever think of, 2 beautiful bathrooms, we could not fault anything. If you have children ( we don't) it's perfect, a very safe secure garden and a room off the kitchen with lots and lots of toys and games, A shop that sells everything is a few minutes walk away. There isn't anything to do in the village, but everything is only 30 minutes or less drive away, and omg, there are some absolutely gorgeous places to visit, we looked through all the information left for guests, used our sat nav and was out all day every day We definitely would love to return!!!

equipment needed. Plenty of space for all ages.( 84 to 18 month) White goods great for keeping up with washing, drying and washing up. Interesting area to stay if you like Western Scotland. Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.

We had a fantastic stay here for my mum's 60th birthday. Heather and Colin were very helpful, responsive hosts and couldn't have been more lovely throughout the booking process and during our stay! The house is exactly as described/pictured and has lots of activities fit for all the family. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future. Thank you! ☺️

We’ve booked Tim’s place with a group of friend for a night going from Port Erin to Peel. Cycling from The Sound to Lower Foxdale wasn’t the smoothest but Tim made us feel very welcomed and we’ve enjoyed so much our stay. After a good day of effort nothing beat eating grilled meats, a good beer and relaxing in a hot tub!

Michael gave clear, helpful instructions to help find the property which were much appreciated. The house was very clean and well equipped as well as being great value for money!

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

Wow!!!! What a house!! The location right on the beach is simply beautiful. The house was immaculate and the smell on arrival was gorgeous! Everything was perfect for us to celebrate a special birthday and Tracey checked in with us to ensure we had all we needed. Took us about 15 mins to walk into Amble where there are lots of places to eat. We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to return!! Thank you so much!!!

We had a lovely stay beautiful setting by the river .The house was warm and cosy on arrival . Hugh was there to meet us with instructions on heating and Anne had left us beautiful homemade brown bread which went down very well with a cuppa after our long journey . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village

Such a peaceful oasis and amazing garden. But sitting in the morning sun with coffee at the front of the house next to the canal was the best for me. Beautiful house and location with a good pub over the canal.

Brilliant 4 days staying at the lodge, as previous reviews have already stated I really don’t think the photos do how beautiful the location is justice. We were in the area for a local wedding and if we are ever here again I wouldn’t hesitate to book. Kayaks on the loch were superb, and overall we had a great time. Thanks again.

This is a beautiful home nestled in the Donegal hills. Superb location. Walking distance from the nearest little village, yet it feels like it's totally in the countryside. Mairead was totally invisible but instantly contactable if needed. Super host and beautiful home - will return at the first available opportunity.

What can I say about this cottage? Outstanding, absolutely beautiful it has everything you would ever need. The cottage is very clean and well laid out. Lynda is the best host so responsive at all times and sometimes proactive. We had a power cut after the recent storm, Lynda offered to move me to a hotel or another cottage. I decided to stay and put up with the power outage which was really cosy with candles burning and the log fire lit. The real lovely surprise is when you turn off the road down the track to the cottage and you see the Loch which you cross a causeway to get the cottage, amazing. It’s a place I definitely want to return to return to for a holiday. So thank you for letting me use your amazing place Lynda I hope to stay again 👍

A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the lake, farm, and stunning scenery with complete privacy. Jonathan was incredibly friendly and informative, making our stay even more enjoyable. Will visit again..

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, so peaceful and private. Added bonus was the chickens that greeted us on arrival. The Fenwick Arms is a great gastro pub, so friendly. Would highly recommend to friends and family and we will definitely be back.

No pictures or reviews do this place justice!We have been to the estate twice now and it’s our favourite place to visit when we need to recharge. It’s great for the dogs, private beach, clear water, hikes at the back of the cottage , lots of wildlife, beautiful cottage. Views are out of this world. It’s worth every penny. Facilities are amazing especially in point cottage with the aga stove. We cooked many amazing meals. It’s the most relaxing place we have been regardless of the weather, and it’s beautiful all year round. Hosts were amazing and got back in contact straight away. Can’t wait to make another trip soon!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Pictures do not do this place justice, easily one of the nicest if not the nicest AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. Great amenities for 4 adults and a big big hot tub! It was so peaceful being able to look out of the windows / decking and watch the wildlife too. Can’t wait to revisit, thankyou!

We loved staying at the Chalet. It was in a peaceful, beautiful location right near the sea with extraordinary views of Benbulbin. The kids loved seeing the nearby dog (Roody), cats and giant bunny. The weather was surprisingly glorious for Ireland in April, yet we still made use of the wood burning fire which kept the Chalet so cosy and toasty. Oh, and the beds were incredibly comfy. This area of the West Coast of Ireland is spectacular with horse-riding, surfing, giant sand dunes, hikes and delicious local food only a short drive away. Isabelle and Eoin were absolutely brilliant hosts - very responsive, friendly and proactive. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. Memories made.

Amy's place was a secluded piece of paradise! extremely quiet and had a gorgeous view right at the doorstep. Amy gave me a warm welcome despite the crazy winds and rain on the day I arrived, and was always prompt in responding to my messages. The airbnb was super cozy and clean, exactly like the pictures. Perfect spot for stargazing too! The clear night sky was super breathtaking. I had an extremely wonderful stay and would really hope to come back again one day 😭

Little gem of a place we booked just to get away from the busy life for a couple of nights with our wee dog , I would 100% live here permanently hint hint lol , definitely a quiet getaway with the pub across the road (now selling food) it’s a new thing so a bit unorganised meaning we ate elsewhere TIP the Chinese in Callander delivers to the cabin. Host was lovely and very responsive also it’s a 10 min drive to Callander only thing and just a suggestion as it’s dog friendly and child friendly the garden as big as it is isn’t secure could get out the back onto the gravel at the white houses definitely needs blocked off , also my small dog can get under the gates at the front even some chicken wire would stop that but no biggie , if the garden is secure I will definitely be a repeat customer. The TV didn’t work due to a line problem but that wasn’t a big deal we just connected to the phones hotspot but signal was low at times. Overall fab little gem of a place

We had a wonderful break at the Cabin with family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The place was immaculate and the view over the lake was beautiful. The location is great for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas. Charlotte was a excellent host, she was very responsive and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at during our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day.
