It was a wonderful place to stay with great scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere . The hosts Alexandra and David were such great people which made the stay even more pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Just back from renting Beechwood House for my daughters 40th. 16 of us had an amazing time, the house is well equipped with everything you could need to have a great time! Beds and bedrooms all very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful for country walks etc and centre of Moffat less than 10 mins walk away. Nick was a fantastic host, a few minor hiccups were sorted immediately 🙌 We were sorry to leave! Thanks again Nick. June, Sara and gang

One of my all time favourite airbnbs! The most beautiful location and cottage with gorgeous decor, felt right at home instantly. Finola and John were superb hosts, so kind and friendly and made our stay outstanding. If you love nature and the peace and quiet - this is the perfect spot for you. I was sad to leave!

Incredible house and surroundings. Definitely the nicest place I have ever stayed in. We all had an incredible weekend here in Westport. Rachel was an excellent host and gave us great local recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Breath taking views out over the bay from the house. Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Westport.

A gorgeous and spacious house, perfect as a spot to explore the beautiful countryside around the Isle of Mull. It could be slightly better resourced with some basics, but otherwise well-appointed.

Ideal place for a couple to have a peaceful break and to enjoy the early morning sunshine. The accommodation is luxurious and easy to use facilities.

What a brilliant weekend! The house was perfect for our family get together. Great that all bedrooms had their own bathroom. The views from the house were incredible and the well stocked kitchen made it easy to make a family meal together. Our weekend turned out to be more special than I imagined with a surprise proposal and I’ll have the fondest memories of this beautiful house forever. A gorgeous stay, beautiful scenery with options for walks and swims and a lovely environment. Equipped with everything you would want and a responsive host. We always have a lovely time when we stay here and will be back again!

Sandybanks is an outstanding house. I can't imagine how it could be more comfortable. It's extremely well equipped. Sharon is very nice and responsive. The location is beautiful, close to a beach. We want to come back!

If you want a relaxing lake house with a view I couldn't think of anywhere better, myself and 5 friends had the most relaxing time. The view is stunning, the hot tub is great and the amenities in the house all work well, very modern but don't take away from rustic nature of the place. Communication with the hosts was really good from Paul and Victoria and the brochure they sent out before hand answered every question before I could even ask, highly recommend if you need a break.

Beautiful, peaceful home in pristine surroundings. Plenty of room to spread out with our group of 8. The child in our party was delighted by the playground by the lake-zip line, swings, treehouse and trampoline. The weather was cool and rainy and Adrian supplied us with plenty of wood to keep the fire blazing. The house is modern yet cozy and the kitchen well supplied.

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Host was both friendly and informative, always quick to respond and gave us a complete itinerary on the lead up to our trip. The house itself was stunning! With a view out the windows that had everyone blown away. Photos don’t do this place justice and it will be a home that I have in my favourites to visit again. Everything and more you could ask from an Airbnb host and home.

We had an amazing stay at Karen’s! The house was really lovely - pristine and really nicely done. The views from the front are hard to beat out over the Tay estuary - especially out in the front garden with a sundowner to hand! Karen provided tonnes of great recommendations - Broughty Ferry had a lot to offer - swimming on the beach behind the castle being a highlight, but also great eating and drinking spots too (the ship and the fisherman’s barely 3 mins walk). Thanks Karen! Hope to we make it back up soon :)

Beautiful house with spectacular views & great walking & hiking. The house is unpretentious, warm & comfortable offering old world charm & comfort. Our party ranged from 3-63 and everyone found a corner of the house that suited them with loads of board games, table tennis & the billiard room was a great hit with everyone. The kitchen is well equipped & has everything you need for feeding a large party of people. I would definitely recommend this property & would love to return in the future.

We had an unforgettable and special stay at this beautiful house. The sunny woodland walks among the snowdrops and around the lake were a delight, and we spotted all sorts of wildlife. Our dogs had a great time running and playing in the open field, and the small children (and big kids) in our party absolutely loved the play area, tennis court, and swimming pool… but the highlight of their stay was the hot tub! Meeting our host, Robert (and his little one), was lovely too. The house had everything we needed to enjoy some quality time together in this lovely historic setting — it’s a rare gem. Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience! The little ones are already asking when we can return to the big house — we hope to come again soon!

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

We rented here for my sister’s hen party and it was amazing!! The Prosecco and buns left as an extra was such a nice touch! The decor and overall feel of the house was absolutely beautiful. The hot jub was huge would love to come back in better weather with family as the grounds around the house is great . Thank you so much!

AMAZING! Lovely place so quiet and comfortable. If you are fussy about the cleanliness of your accommodation this place is for you. I have never stayed somewhere so clean. Smells amazing when you walk into the building and the room, bed and bathroom are spotless. Aircon is a brilliant addition, lovely big bed and tv with a good sized bedroom with lots of mirrors. Rooms are very quiet and I didn’t hear any noise very nice if you want peace and quiet. Hosts are both very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very easy to come and go as you please. Check in was simple and quick. Will 100% be back again and would recommend to anyone.
