Nagyon jól esett nekünk minden nap a kedves kiszolgálás és a vendégszeretet, amit kaptunk! :) Szuper, szállodai szintű ellátásban volt részünk, főleg az étkezésekre gondolok! Babi és Mudu gondoskodása pedig megkoronázta a napokat! Mindenkinek szívből ajánlom, hogy nálatok töltse a nyaralását Sri Lankán, biztosan nem fog csalódni! We are very glad that we were with you this summer! We really enjoyed the kind service and hospitality we received every day! :) We had super, hotel-level care, especially the meals! And Babi and Mudu's care crowned the days! I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to spend their vacation in Sri Lanka with you, you will definitely not be disappointed!

It is impossible to sum up just how welcome we were made to feel from the minute we arrived until departure. The villa was beautiful and the pool exquisite- large to relax and swim and spotlessly clean . The inside exactly as described. But the experience was made special due to the wonderful staff, Gihan and his team, who could not do more to make the stay so special. Beautiful breakfasts showcasing Sri Lankan specialities and home cooked food for dinner if wanted for a reasonable cost. He also drove willingly to nearby Hikkaduwa so able to eat out on as many nights as one wanted. However they also respected guests desire for privacy - a difficult balance to achieve. They went above and beyond anything we might have hoped for. The villa is a little remote but one knows that before booking and the tranquility more than made up for the inability to walk to restaurants. I would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Great responsive host, Jeewantha and his wife were very helpful. Beautiful villa by the river only minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is a good size with a beautiful balcony and big windows and faces a lovely garden and river. You can walk, crossing the train tracks, to a nice beach where you can swim have nice fruit and juices and surf. The apartment also has a fridge and stuff to cook, great for a family. We love it and recommend to others.

We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

The villa is in a beautiful surroundings, overlooking a rice field. The villa is very spacious with swimming private pool. We thouroughly enjoyed out stay here. Christa was very helpful. The helper onsite is really very helpful, and responsive. Only negative I would say is it was far from attractions and main city. Beach is around 4 kms and getting a transport here is a challenge. Booking vehicles in advance to move around could help. The approach road is narrow around 100 mts from the main road.

One of our all-time favourite accomodations, from over 40 countries visited. What we loved: - falling asleep with the sound of waves, which was perfect (not too loud, not too low) - our mornings and sunsets on the terrace of the building - the location inside the forest, and on top of the cliffs - nature all around us, with nice fauna (varan, monkeys, peacocks, small birds) visiting us. Don’t worry, there is nothing dangerous, they avoid people - The access to the cliff which is just a couple of steps away from the villas. Very good place for sunsets and meditation after - The pool is really nice for relaxing swimming at the end of the day - Near 2 beaches : Jungle beach (amaaaazing place) and Unawatuna beach, also very nice - Small cozy restaurants just outside the villas - A lot of space inside, very comfortable beds & pillows - The host and personnel are top-notch. Hospitality at next level. It was my wife’s 25th birthday and they helped us make it memorable. Great experience!

Все отлично, помогают со всеми вопросами, байками и другими вопросами . Пару раз выбивал интернет но ребята исправляли ситуацию. Бассейн чистый и в жаркую погоду решает сильно 😌

Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

The accommodation was really amazing. We traveled with the whole family and we were all extremely satisfied.

Vi bodde i huset i sex veckor och gladdes mycket över generösa utrymmen överlag. Huset är väl placerat med gångavstånd till många olika restauranger och barer. Avståndet till stränder är något längre, ca 1,5 km. Personalen tog väl hand om oss och var lyhörda för eventuella önskemål. De kunde ordna transporter av skilda slag och hjälpte till med allt vi undrade över. En i personalen kunde mot en mindre ersättning laga underbart god lankesisk mat som vi åt i den stora matsalen med plats för åtta personer. Poolen överraskade oss, den är finare än som framgår av bilderna. Ett litet minus är att trädgården runt huset är liten och utsikten från poolen är en mur. På muren kunde man ibland se apor och ekorrar och på gräsytorna spankulerade påfåglar. AC finns i sovrummen men ingen sådan i sällskapsutrymmen vilket ibland gör dessa svåra att använda. Köket är mycket basic. Ugnen som anges i beskrivningen finns i personalköket men den kunde vi använda.

Heel fijn en ruim verblijf met een eigen keuken, zitruimte en badkamer. Gelegen in een zijstraat, dus rustig en toch vlakbij alle restaurants, strand… Lieve en vriendelijke mensen.

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

Im a travel agent from Vancouver . After 12 days biking around Sri Lanka with a group of friends we were looking for a little down time . This property is hidden away in a lovely quiet lane only steps from Marissa’s main stripe & beach . Best decision we made was to eat at the property. The lovely hosts made us dinner. Hands down our breakfasts & dinners were the best we’ve had ! That’s saying something as we all love the food here ! I’d highly recommend this little gem .

We had the most amazing time here! Waking up surrounded by jungle and the sounds of birds! Loved the airbnb, beautiful in its design and has all the amenities you need. A special mention to our amazing hosts! Had a brilliant cooked meal as well as welcome drinks. Can’t wait to come back here, loved every second we were here.

Etmba House is such a treat! The home is cozy, stunning, and perfect for a family getaway. We really enjoyed spending our days there. Everything is clean, and the crew—Nuan, Michael, and Shehaan—are super attentive and outstanding. A special mention to Thilakshi, whose delicious local dishes were so fun to try. It’s the ideal spot to relax, whether lounging by the pool, soaking in the quiet, or listening to the calls of peacocks. The location is fantastic too—close to Galle and several beautiful beaches, with Autos and Ubers readily available. Lara is communicative and can answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend it and we cannot wait to be back!

Beautiful house and garden. We felt totally at home, and so well looked after. There is a caretaker who lives in a house on the grounds so you have the peace of mind that there is someone there should you need anything and he keeps the place secure. We also had a team come every morning at whatever time we wanted to make us the most amazing breakfast- pancakes, waffles, fruit, roti, dahl, eggs, tea etc. It was a 10 min walk to the shops and beach and easy to grab a tuk tuk back when we wanted. Air con was great. Pool was beautiful. Monkeys and peacocks entertained us in the morning. Can’t fault the place.

Merveilleux séjour en famille !! La villa est exceptionnelle, la situation est parfaite, a proximité de restaurants et dans le quartier résidentiel de Mahdia a Mirissa ( a mon avis, le meilleur endroit pour séjourner). La présence d'Indika durant le séjour rend le séjour mémorable. extrêmement gentil, attentionné et discret il lui tient a cœur que les voyageurs puissent passer un séjour d'exception. Grâce a ces conseils et son aide durant le séjour nous avons pu nous relaxer et profiter au maximum de nos vacances en famille. Merci encore Indika !! Bella et Gaston les deux chiens de la maison sont également très discrets et sympathiques. Bref, Tout était parfait

Our family has the most beautiful stay at Wigi’s villa. Jayantha & his team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (the Sri Lankan pancakes for afternoon tea are highly recommended!), and Hasitha was super responsive & accommodating to our requests in the lead up. Breakfast was abundant, and having the option to stay in for other meals given we have young children made for a relaxing holiday. The view from the living areas, the pool and lush green space is incredible. The team helped us arrange an excellent driver to Galle, and took great care of us all round. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the upstairs ones have fab views. The only thing to note is wifi service can be limited, which is something to be mindful of if working remotely. Thank you for an incredible stay, we’d love to return.

Our family of four absolutely loved Cecilia’s house. It is located in the middle of the paddy fields with lots of nature and wild life to enjoy. During our three day stay we saw peacocks, fireflies, giant lizards, squirrels, monkeys and a giant spider! Just be warned that there are also many mosquitos in the house so bring your bug spray. Cecilia’s staff were also very attentive who prepared us nice Sri Lankan dishes for breakfast and dinner. They made our kids separate western dishes. Thank you Cecilia!

Where can I start…. We stayed at this beautiful villa for three nights and by far the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. Villas is very spacious and clean. Alfresco area and the pool is very thoughtfully designed. Well maintained garden with beautiful surroundings. Most of all the hospitality that we received from Ananda, Noni and Nayana’s took it to a next level. We had home cooked Sri Lankan meals all three days and specially the Christmas Day lunch was superb. We made great memories and met awesome people at the coconut grove villa which we will never forget… Also thank you to Roshan ( tuk tuk driver) and Lesley was very responsive all the way!

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

Blue Peacock Beach House has stolen our hearts! As a family, we collectively fell in love with this beautifully located house, felt so comfortable & so much at home, the place exudes warmth, peace & has such wonderful vibes. By far one of our best family vacations, all thanks to the host who is so accommodating. The manager & the caretaker are so courteous & helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, going back with lasting memories & a dream of coming back here soon. So if one is looking for a beach holiday in Sri Lanka this Villa has it all.

Sehr schöne Villa mit ruhiger Lage und in der Natur. Man kann viele Tiere hören und sehen. Am Besten gefallen hat uns der Pool. Gastgeber und Pool boy sind sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Scooter Verleih möglich. Gerne wieder :)
