Lovely place to relax for the few days between Christmas and NY. Spent the days walking with the dogs and then back for the hot tub! Really quiet area with not much around but that was exactly what we wanted. Thank you

What an absolute find! Jane is an amazing host who goes the extra mile with details & treats. The lodge is homely, spotless, peaceful & well equipped. Well located. And the views are STUNNING! Highlight, watching the birds on the bird feeders. Main advice - wake up & watch the sunrise!! The area has so much to do. We wish we had stopped longer. 2 nights were not enough.

Absolutely stunning place! From outside - the beautiful, natural surroundings to the inside, stunning high end and luxurious decor. Nicola has thought of absolutely everything! We had everything we needed and more. Nicola was really responsive, friendly, and recommended local walks. Even gave us some extra supplies after a muddy day out! Would definitely stay again! Had a lovely stay at Julie and Steve’s place, the caravan was clean, cosy well equipped and perfectly situated within the campsite. The swimming pool onsite was lovely and warm and at the time we went not too busy. The area and the scenery is lovely with plenty of local walks but also close enough to Manchester and Blackpool to add variety.

We had a lovely long weekend staying at Seaview cottage. We arrived to a spotlessly clean & warm cottage & the welcome tea, coffee, biscuits & fresh milk was just what we needed after a long journey. The cottage is very cosy & has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen & comfy beds. Although directly on a road it was calm & peaceful as there was very little traffic & we slept really well. We enjoyed some great local walks and really enjoyed our stay. Ruth provided lots of helpful info & was a friendly host.

Fantastic value for money!! We booked the partridge hut for a quiet weekend away to start the year and were not disappointed. Even in yellow warning winds and torrential rain it was so cosy to be in the cabin with the heater on! It’s so private with lovely views over the river and lots of easy walks. The hut itself was immaculate and actually more spacious than we had anticipated, especially because we were bringing our dog with us. All in all perfect and Mike was so helpful and responsive. Would really recommend.

Lovely modern house.. great social space layout downstairs. Martin was helpful and answered all questions I had quickly. Hot tub was great and garden was nice, secure too. Would 100% recommend this property for family break

When checking in it was nice and simple, Steven came to help us and show us around, there were a few bits to play like a chess board, Scrabble, monopoly. The area was lovely and only a 20 minute drive from Lake Windermere, would recommend for sure!
