It was a wonderful weekend getaway! We went up here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday in a peaceful way and to disconnect from the outside world. It was homie and beautiful all around. We were able to bring our dog and he enjoyed running around, bathing in the sun, and visiting the cow! We will sure be back once late spring/ summer hits! So thankful for James and Sofi to open up their cabin to us!

The Country Cottage is a wonderful get away where you can relax on a farm and still be close to Weaverville & Asheville. Jerry and Debra are awesome hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The farm has the most adorable goats, chicken and sheep, which I visited daily. The Cottage is loaded with all types of supplies, for cooking, bathing, etc. to help you feel right at home. Also, multiple storage areas for clothing. In addition, a large picnic table and Grill to enjoy dinning outside. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

The house was in a lovely environment, where it was peaceful and quiet. With sleeping spaces on three levels, there was good privacy and we were all comfortable. There was a beautiful view from the couch in the living room.....and one morning we saw deer wandering around close by! We've always enjoyed the town of Weaverville, so were thankful for another time to visit there! Misty answered all our questions and was very helpful! Our family would enjoy staying there again in the future! Thanks for sharing your home Misty!

Such a cute place, and the hosts were super nice and accommodating! We'd love to bring a big group up here and rent out adjacent places - would be so fun for a mountain getaway! Will definitely come back.

Zeer mooie en ruime woning, we waren er met de Kerst en de woning was moor versierd voor de Kerst, inclusief kerstboom. Zeer warm welkom met appeltaart en bos bloemen, je voelt je gelijk thuis. Alle benodigde voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Rustige locatie, ideaal voor een bezoek aan de Smoky Mountain, zeker als de I40 weer open is. Waynesville ligt op een kwartiertje rijden met grote supermarkt en leuke restaurantjes.

Melodie was really nice and we loved her farm! Her whole family was very nice and welcoming! The animals were so friendly! If I could change one thing it’d be the mattress in the master bedroom it’s pretty firm so I didn’t sleep much but it was okay.

This place was simple and amazing! Such a gorgeous view - we wanted to sit outside in the rocking chairs all days. Perfect place for a small reunion with children. We would definitely rent again - hosts were super responsive.

Jon’s house was in a great location for my visit with family. The house was clean and spacious and the area is beautiful.

If this house is available, do not pass go, grab it! Spacious home, clean, and well appointed with anything you might need! Michelle is a fantastic host. She’s super helpful and responds quickly! She was helpful with hiking recommendations and anything else we needed. We loved hanging out with the chickens, Alpacas, and dogs. This home is a great jumping off point for all things Asheville. It’s just minutes away from the Blue Ridge parkway and many other activities.

We had originally booked for the first weekend of February but something came up on our end and Vincent was amazing about us changing our weekend. He responded super fast and our issue was solved. The place was beautiful and very cozy.

This place was pure magic—peaceful, breathtaking, and unforgettable. Watching the sunset melt into the mountains and gazing at the moon in the quiet night felt like a dream. A perfect, fairytale escape.

Great location! The house sits on a very private and quiet lot, but a short drive to everything. My family and I had a great time staying here!

An amazing place to stay! Kim was so hospitable and helpful whenever we had any questions. The house was spotless, comfortable and in a beautiful location. I hesitate to talk it up too much because I want to be able to go back again and again. Seriously, one of the all round nicest AirBnB experiences I’ve had in over 6years. We stayed nine nights and enjoyed the whole stay. Gorgeous home and property with wonderful views of the valleys and mountains around. Fred does an outstanding job taking care of his guests. The home is well-designed and maintained. The fireplace is great to use; although there is more smoke smell than I think should be there, even when one is careful to maintain the draft. *Note also that Fred occupies the basement of the home with his cool Great Pyranees dog, Yeti (who's NOT allowed upstairs); I can't recall whether that's mentioned in the description, but it's good to know. However, Fred was often away while we were staying there, and we never heard any noise. Overall, the location, facility, and our experience were outstanding; and Fred was a wonderful host.

Belinda and Jim are wonderful hosts. I have previously stayed in their tent accommodations and loved their attention to detail. Their tiny cabin did not disappoint. They have thought of everything. If you are in the area, don’t miss out on a wonderful little place.

My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs stayed for 3 wonderful days. The cabin was so rustic and quaint. Lovely fireplace inside. We were looking for a secluded and private original old time mountain cabin and could not have been more pleased with this accommodation. Lovely porch to sit on and listen to the creek as it ran by. Sat outside and read as nature surrounded us. Fire pit by the creek and outdoor jacuzzi were great. We ate breakfast outside on the picnic table located right outside the kitchen each morning. Reading the history of the cabin made it even more special. We loved, loved, loved this cabin. We would love to own it ourselves. We wanted a peaceful and relaxing few days away from the rat race and we got it. Can't wait to go again!

We stayed at Whistle Pig Farm over Thanksgiving, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind for the week. The kitchen was so well stocked, and had everything we possibly could have needed. The grandparents loved lounging and baking in the warm, open spaces, and our 3 year old son loved playing with all the house toys (so nice!), saying hi to the chickens each day, and going on walks to throw rocks in the creek. Would absolutely stay again - thanks Anne and Tom for sharing your lovely home!!

We absolutely love staying here! The special touches like the lighted Christmas trees and delicious homemade Christmas cookies were so very appreciated and made us feel so welcome. Also loved hearing the roosters in the morning! Would love to come back! Wonderful!

We were scheduled to stay at this house for a week, but due to Hurricane Helene, we had to evacuate after three days. For the time we were there, the house was very nice and we greatly enjoyed the large living room area. That was definitely the highlight of the home. We would have liked to explore the area more and utilize some of their recommendations, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Would recommend the house to people looking for a large area for people to gather and talk.

Super pretty cabin located a just a few short miles from downtown Hendersonville. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure, clean and stocked kitchen, big deck out front, very quiet, cozy living room.

My wife and I spent a weekend leading up to Christmas at the cottage and loved it! There was a Christmas tree in the living room that added to the ambiance of the gas fireplace. Our stay was very cozy and exactly what we had hoped for. And the Hot tub was a huge plus! No complaints, we'll be back for sure.

Lovely place to stay! Everything was very clean! The views were stunning. I especially loved the nearby donkey and cows.
