This cottage is the perfect place to stay in Flat Rock or Hendersonville. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It exceeded our expectations, was perfectly and thoughtfully appointed, and a wonderful blend of old and new. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Gwynne and her team were prompt in their responses and proactively reached out during our stay to follow up. We are already talking about reserving this again. We came for one of our annual girls' getaways but several have discussed reserving for family holidays or romantic weekend with their spouses.

Everything was great. The home is on a dead end street that doesn’t allow for trailer parking or turn around. However, the home had ample parking and the covered porch was great. Conveniently located to downtown Hendersonville and Asheville.

First of all, Patricia went out of her way to help arrange flowers, balloons, etc to be all set up upon arrival to surprise my wife and daughter for Valentine’s Day. Just amazing! The house itself was perfect and in a fantastic location. The yard was perfect as well. We really enjoyed the historic nature of the home, so very cozy in every space. The house is so close to the restaurants and shops in Saluda (2 min drive) and also a very short walk to a wonderful trail in the adjacent nature preserve. The covered porch overlooking the activity filled back yard was perfection. We will definitely be booking here again - for the house and the host!

This location was absolutely gorgeous. It was a very peaceful place that was away from the city, but yet not too far to go into town. Ray, Shannon and their kids were excellent and very flexible and accommodating. Looking forward to returning.

Great place to stay! Beautiful view across the street. Had everything we needed with coffee and stores 5 mins down the road!

This place was perfect to host 6 of us. There were some thoughtful touches included for kids and babies which was perfect for our toddler. We loved the big deck and how spacious the house was.

We stayed here for a bike race weekend at Ride Rock Creek. The location was central to Hendersonville and to Ride Rock Creek. We loved this place, it was comfy and clean and adorably decorated! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for what I needed- a quick place to stay for the night, close to the airport, before an early flight home. 6 minutes from the Airbnb to ALV. Cozy spot with everything we needed for the night. 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Thanks Elizabeth!

Walter’s home is truly a haven, nestled in his beautiful gardens and it feels miles away from anything else, but you’re walking distance to downtown Saluda! It isn’t surprising that his home is a guest favorite. Walter is also very friendly and accessible and I really can’t recommend this home enough! I do plan to check here first whenever I return and see it during different seasons. Thank you for a lovely stay with all the nice touches!

Schuyler’s place is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The view is gorgeous! We will definitely be back soon!

Everything was great at David’s place! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cozy and clean and felt very homey which is hard to find in a lot of bnb’s. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely be booking with him again, can’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful, private space, great for couples. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was heavenly relaxing! Right off main street and easy walking to all downtown destinations, and several breweries close to downtown. Brenna and Danielle were super responsive and gave clear instructions to make your stay stress free. You can't go wrong with Unique Couples Getaway in the Heart of Downtown!

Host was very responsive and accommodating even on a holiday. She was friendly and provided clear instructions and assisted my needs on a short notice booking while in town. The apartment was quiet, convenient, and as described with plenty of amenities.

Donna’s condo was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. Extremely clean! Definitely the cleanest airbnb we have ever stayed in. And had everything that you would need during your stay from a sound machine in the bedroom to little shampoo and conditioner toiletries in the bathroom. She even had snacks and drinks ready for our kiddos when we arrived which was a very thoughtful touch! The location is very close to everything in Hendersonville downtown and hiking trails. Definitely would stay at Donna’s place again when we come back to Hendersonville!

Overall, wonderful. The bed was super comfy, the living room was cozy and the gas fireplace was super lovely. A few minor items - the heat was on 60 degrees when we arrived and there was fine dust on most surfaces - it was clean but seemed it had not been cleaned super recently. The “shampoo” provided is actually a body wash/shampoo combo. We had just been pampered with really nice toiletries at a different Airbnb so we’re probably spoiled, but this was a little disappointing. Overall, it was great and the place is ENORMOUS! Parking is convenient and it is a short and easy one block walk to all the fun of downtown.

We had a great time! My kids loved going on the canoe in the pond. We also loved going to the pool after a day out apple picking and hiking. The mornings are also peaceful sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a family reunion with our twin 6yo daughters. It was cozy so I would say that more than two adults would find it difficult to share the space unless you only needed a space to sleep. The place was clean, had a lovely porch to enjoy the lake views, and was very comfortable.

So, we came to the area for our anniversary. We needed rest and rejuvenation. So peace and quiet was our top priority. Then we also wanted to get into the thick of things when we felt like it. Franz and Sheri's home met our "peaceful" part and the area met our activities level! Breweries, the Parkway and top notch eateries were some of the cool things. But the mountains are right there so we went on some hikes and stopped at many lookouts! Franz and Sheri have thought of everything! You're gonna say "not possible" but I'm gonna tell you, THEY HAVE. Clothes, toiletries and food, that's all you'll need, promise :) You'll fall in love with this home, I promise that too!

It was a pleasure to stay 4 days at the condo at Kanuga Place in North Carolina while attending a family wedding. Meg our host was in touch with me regarding our stay at her condo. She was extremely helpful and communicated with me prior to check in. The condo was immaculate and updated. Both bedrooms accommodated my daughter and myself, and it was very helpful to have the second bathroom to get ready. We loved the area it’s so breathtaking waking up in the mountains of North Carolina. The condo also has a beautiful screened in porch which was a great place to enjoy morning coffee. I would highly recommend staying here. It was very enjoyable. Meg is a great host and I would love to visit Hendersonville again and would book at her condo at Kanuga Place.
