This was a beautiful place to spend a few days away. It was just as described, the host was friendly yet not overbearing. The hot tub is a must!! All in all a lovely stay. Definitely worth a second stay. Barbara

My friend and I chose this location for the peace, quiet, and serenity away from city life. We enjoyed the tranquility of the location, the open space to roam in the yard, the sunrise view of the lake, the disconnect from technology (note: no wifi for future travelers), and the slow pace of cabin living.

Incredible spot just south of Dallas. They had paddle boards / kayaks for us to us. The fire pit lit up with a switch of a button and everything in the cottages were so thought out. From snacks / a bottle of wine to the shampoo and conditioner in the shower, everything was fabulous and easy for us to feel right at home. Each cottage has its own grille and comes with all the utensils needed to cook and they had a beautiful dining table to eat around. The pool and hot tub were also amazing. 10/10 would definitely go back and suggest others to go check out the private Idaho.

Clay's place was great for our family of 10, and he was helpful in directing us to boat rentals. There was a plumbing problem our first morning, but Clay was able to get a plumber out to the house fairly quickly. Oddly enough, we realized we've stayed at this residence several years ago. It is much nicer since Clay took over and renovated the home. We would stay here again.

We so enjoyed our time here. Kouper our dobie did even more so, especially when he could swim! Rained/misted fair amount of time but felt really comfortable inside. Thank you Veronica!!

Loved staying at Vinny’s! My husband, son and I went for Labor Day. The Airbnb was exactly as pictured and described. Incredibly peaceful and so much fun. Our son is 2.5 so we REALLY appreciated the fencing between the house and the lake for safety reasons. The ladder to get into the lake actually was very easy to use. We brought our own kayak and life vests and were able to use them with ease. It is on the open part of the lake so not as still of water as if you lived on a channel but it was definitely fine and would have been better on a non busy weekend. Vinny, was incredibly responsive. So helpful, very proactive and we really appreciated his communication. We will definitely be back!!!! We loved this spot!

We absolutely loved our stay at the lake house! The decor was beautiful, creating a perfect ambiance for relaxation and quality family time. The host, Santiago, was fantastic—extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this gem!!

Melissa is a wonderful host. We stayed 3 separate weekends this summer and each time was great. Property is exactly as advertised. Cedar Creek is a fantastic lake and was is a relaxing and fun time. Look forward to staying again.

Such a great little place. Even better than the pictures of it! They had such nice little extra touches as well. Bed was very comfortable. I adored the place. It was a nice way for us to recharge and relax!

If you are looking for a perfect getaway this is it. Everything you need and more including lantern for night fishing, bait trap, cast net, extra battery's charged and ready to go for the boat. BBQ and bonfire pit, and the porch swing were some of my favorite things (charcoal and firewood provided). I will be renting this peace of paradise again. Hosts were super friendly, offered early check in and late check out.

Exactly what we were looking for.

The house was cozy and well thawed out. The kitchen fully equipped with everything needed, the master bed the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the bathroom provided for all needs. There were several items I would’ve liked to have purchased, so I reached out to Lisa, and she was always quick to respond with information. My favorite part was the enclosed pergola with the amazing glider bench. I spent much time out there, just relaxing, and looking at my surroundings. It was very relaxing, enjoyable, and beautiful. A great place for a getaway!

Would definitely stay here again! Home is beautiful, well equipped, and the beds are so comfy! Everything was exactly as described and I was surprised how close we were to the water. Communication was A++ and I would highly recommend staying here.

This is one of the best locations to enjoy for a relaxing weekend at Cedar Creek Lake! Our cottage was right on the water, and it was so peaceful outside. The interior of the cottage was very well appointed with great amenities! We look forward to coming back often as a weekend retreat! Bravo!
