Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

We’ve stayed at a couple of Airbnbs in Asheville and this one was our favorite! The layout of the house was perfect and we loved all of the outdoor spaces. The expansive back porch, huge yard for soccer, and corner hot tub were favorites for the whole family. The beds were so comfortable that we had a hard time getting out of them in the morning. Our bulldog loved the yard, fenced back porch, and wooded area. Jon was so communicative and had wonderful restaurant recommendations. We hope to come back soon for another stay!

My husband and I wanted to have a peaceful weekend after attending appointments at the VA hospital close by. This location hit the mark perfectly! Peaceful, simply elegant, and clean with the bonus of nature surrounding us. We enjoyed relaxing evenings looking at the stars from the jacuzzi.

Absolutely lovely place, well decorated with lots of little unique touches. My daughter did not want to leave lol! Excellent location and great price. Host was clear in communicating. We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay just minutes from Asheville but quiet and dark enough to see stars and wildlife. Loved the big screened porch and seating on the ridge, as well as all the tools in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

Amazing location, easy drive to hikes and downtown. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The yard was an added plus for my dog. Burn pit seemed like a perfect place to spend evenings, unfortunately we couldn’t utilize it due to a burn ban in effect. We definitely would stay again!

Felt like home! This was our second time staying here (my sister and me with two pups), and we've loved it both times. The place is clean, has everything you'd need, and it's comfortable - just like home! Debbie is also very responsive and helpful. We were able to easily get to Pisgah national forest for hiking and to downtown Brevard for some breweries. We plan on going here on repeat. We've found the perfect home away from home!

Beautiful home—we enjoyed our stay very much. Francis was friendly and so helpful! We brought our son and two furry four legged daughters who loved the grounds! Great location — 10 mins to the Blue Ridge parkway and 10 mins to grocery stores. The space was comfortable and we enjoyed lounging on the patio bed after a hike. Our dog loved the path behind the house too!

This is our second Christmas at Julie’s place. It is so perfect in every way!! We purchased steak and eggs from her this time and that will DEFINITELY be a stable each visit forward. Delightful stay! Went to Asheville for business and stayed at this lovely cottage in nearby Candler. This pristine one bedroom unit, (with fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and gas fireplace), is located in a rural setting a short drive from Asheville. Ate at nearby Hungry Bear Cafe, (a great diner serving breakfast and lunch) as well as at the Waffle House. Ordered delivery twice from El Paraiso Mexican Grill and once from Galactic Pizza. This cottage provided a wonderful weekend getaway. It is cozy with all that you would need. They were great with their instructions and the location was very quiet. It is walkable to many of our favorite eating spots. It was a great find for the 2 of us, and we look forward to going back!
