Great weekend away for Valentine’s Day, close to Durham for a day out and very relaxing to come back and spend time in the hot tub, overall a great experience :)

We stayed in the Sung for a 2 night girls weekend away.. for a special birthday. Before we arrived, Sara was easy to contact, and allowed us to check in early to extend our celebrations. As we arrived, our Asda delivery was awaiting our arrival, which makes things much easier. The Sung was immaculate. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds are incredibly comfy!! And the couch!! Sara pays so much attention to detail, and even made us a hamper to enjoy. There was Prosecco in the fridge, birthday cakes, and more - thank you!! We spent most of our time in the tub (which is maintained every day, and amazing at night when the stars are shining), and having one too many Proseccos, but there’s lots of walking to do. We ventured out to one of the local pubs which was delicious too. We forgot a bag when we left, and Sara called us and help arrange for us to come back and collect. We’ll definitely be back!! the most beautiful location in a very peaceful area. we got very lucky with the weather which made the whole weekend even more stunning, great local walks with gorgeous views or if you fancy more of a hike there’s plenty of mountains all a short drive away. the cabin itself was the perfect size, a lot more spacious than i pictured it to be and very clean inside with all basic necessities provided (e.g. toilet roll, washing up liquid, dish cloths, tin foil etc.) due to the cabin having no oven we cooked most of our food over the bbq/firepit which was great experience (all bbq utensils were provided including skewer sticks, metals and wooden, and also spray oil which was very useful) owners were welcoming and friendly, delicious fresh food from the farm shop next door (to buy or eat in) and the attached farm was open to walk around (certain areas) so we got to see all the new lambs! all in all an incredible experience, welcoming will 100% be going back!!

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

Really amazing place would highly recommend this place if anyone’s wanting a weekend away extremely private and really amazing views with the river right underneath the pods had a really amazing time on our stay 10/10

Such a lovely spot for a family getaway. The patio looked out to woodland which was perfect for a secluded hot tub retreat. Location was great for tourist activities like Alnwick and Bamburgh, plus the zoo at the end of the road was awesome! The underfloor heating made the cabin toasty warm in what was a cold Feb half term!

Just lovely place to get away and chill, felt homely and relaxing it was bigger than we expected with lots of room We loved it! We will definitely book again

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Julia’s charming lodge with my family to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday, it exceeded all my expectations. The space was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that made me feel right at home. The location and views are just fantastic, it is just under a two mile walk to the lovely twice brewed pub and Hadrian s wall. Julia was incredibly hospitable and responsive to my queries The thoughtful touches, like the fabulous welcome basket, well stock kitchen cupboards with all the essentials and of course the lovely kind touch of a very tasty homemade fresh cream cake and Prosecco on ice when we arrived. All rooms having well equipped en-suite with all the essentials, shampoo etc. all bedrooms also having your own door leading to the beautiful outside area with chickens welcoming us every morning. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting this area and definitely look forward to returning

It was a great location close to the A1. Very comfortable and relaxing lodge with lots of paths to walk the dog.

This lodge was the best dog friendly place we have ever stayed! The space in the garden and paddocks to use were amazing. The lodge was very cosy and quiet. Our dogs had the best time and we would 100% visit again.

What an amazing place to stay So peaceful and quiet Within driving distance of shops What a lovely time we had for New Year Cracking log burner kept us warm, place was very clean and was like being at home Great WiFi for watching TV and gaming Rachel was lovely and their of we needed her. Highly recommended and will come again in the future Well worth the 4 hour drive from North Wales Even got some snow ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!

Lovely clean caravan In beautiful peaceful surroundings. The caravan park itself only had around 5 caravans so nice and quiet, the donkeys were a welcome sight too! First ever Airbnb for all of us which went very smoothly so big thank you to Rachel for her advice (and the park warden who found my wallet and arranged to post it out for me!) Stayed to walk scafell pike which went very well. Big things!

This was the best place I’ve stayed in when visiting the Lake District. It was so peaceful and the cabin was immaculate. There’s lovely walks in the area and Windermere is a 15 minute drive away. I wouldn’t change anything about it and will definitely be returning!

Fantastic, exactly as described. Lovely and toasty in the comfy bed (it was -1 outside). Very close to a great pub for tea and a kiosk (coffee and bacon butty) for breakfast. A great place to stay when doing the Cumbria Way.

We loved our stay at the HoneyMug cabin which was cosy, clean and comfortable. We took our telescope and were very glad we did because the night sky was amazing! We hope to visit again in the future.

We had a lovely weekend stay with the kids. The cabin was beautiful and set in its own mini woodland. Ideal location to light the fire and gaze at the stars. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and a bit of nature this is the place. Sarah was super friendly too and we loved the extra treats like tea and biscuits we received upon our arrival.

We were hoping the lodge would have a cosy, Christmas feel and we were not disappointed. There were twinkle lights outside and a tall Christmas tree inside. The lodge itself was really nice, larger than we expected. All the rooms were a good size and it was clean and modern. Having the WIFI was brilliant as my son depends on it! The lodge was only a short walk from the main facilities, which was good as we were unlucky with the weather during our stay. The lodge had everything we needed, and drinks were available in the form of tea, coffee, juice and milk. We would love to return in the summer so we could take advantage of the large, secure decking area. We were all really happy with our stay and quite sad to leave this cosy, lovely lodge.

This was such a treat from walking in to the underfloor heating to the lovely bathroom - the views was breathtaking and the lodge itself had all the instructions for everything! Highly recommend booking was perfect can’t wait to come again!

Stayed here as was attending a wedding on site. Cabin was beautiful and clean, and in a beautiful location. Definitely recommend for anyone either attending an event on site or anyone just wanting some private time away from the bustling city.

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. We arrived in a storm and we were glad to find the lodge warm and welcoming on arrival. The lodge is really lovely inside (more so than the photos online suggest) and even with the 5 of us there it felt very spacious. It was the perfect place to hunker down and enjoy some family time. The beds, were really comfortable and everyone slept really well. Tim was a fantastic host and responded to any queries in a really helpful and professional manner. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at The Burrow was by far our favourite to date. It was peaceful yet close to local amenities and lovely walks if that’s what you fancy! Kate was a superb host. Her listing is simply stunning and we can’t wait to re book to visit again! The decor is just beautiful… I can’t recommend this enough. Thank you Kate
